I stared at my ex, not knowing what to say. My mouth was open slightly as I stared at him. He frowned at me.

"Are you okay?" He asked its like he doesn't recognise me I thought, of course he doesn't you haven't seen him in ages.

"Aaden?" I asked, stuttering, "Aaden Lovelock?"

"That's me how do you know my na-" he was cut off by me putting on my glasses and looking at him.

"It's me, Jess." I said simply.

"Jess!" He exclaimed and then hugged me tightly, "what are you doing here?!" He asked me.

"I go to this college." I said, in a duh voice, "I didn't know you went here!" I faked a smile at him because inside I was crying.

"Neither did I!" He gushed. "It's so good to see you, are you alright you seem upset." He touching my cheek to wipe a tear I didn't know was there.

I shook my head, getting out of a trance and nodded, "yeah I'm fine," I said, "just you know overwhelmed," I giggled nervously. I quickly got up with my stuff as helped pick up the rest of my things.

"Okay, well can I see you?" He asked, "you know just to hang out, to catch up as friends." My fake smile got bigger and wider.

"Of course we can hang out, that's completely fine!"

Sarah frowned at me, "Jess, I thought..." She trailed off as I gave her a look that said I know it's strange I'll tell you later. She nodded knowingly.

"We can hang out lunch if you want with my friends?" I suggested, that's when he changed his attitude and I swallowed, hard.

He narrowed his eyes at Sarah, "I'll sit with you, but not with," he waved his hand around at Sarah, "her, I don't trust her."

"You don't know her Aaden, give her a chance for once!" I exclaimed.

He rolled his eyes and his voice got rougher, grabbing my arm, "don't tell me what to do! She's not sitting with you and that's it!"

"No." I said, "unless Sarah is sitting with me because she's my best friend, you can forget about hanging out!" I spat at him. He took a hold of me and he pushed me against the wall.

"How dare you talk to me like that! We are going to hang out whether you want to or not, and shes not going to be there!" I struggled to get out of his grip. Once I did, I pushed him,

"Get the fuck off me now!" I screamed. "You can't control me!" I said, looking over at Sarah, "come on, let's go."

We ran away from him and decided to go to the cafeteria to hang out with Emi and Rachael.

I shivered thinking about what happened about fifteen minutes before Sarah and I sat down at a table with Emi and Rachael.

"You alright? You look like you've seen a ghost." Emi said.

"Fine, honestly. If you see a guy called Aaden just tell him to go away. Tell him that I don't want to see him." I said before sighing, closing my eyes and trying to concentrate and forget about everything that happened that day.

They nodded, "alright, we won't." Emi touched my shoulder, "why can I ask?"

"He's my ex, he's a bit forceful. He said that he was going to sit with me at lunch to 'catch up' whether I wanted him to or not. He didn't want Sarah to sit with me, I have no idea why, he's crazy." I shook my head, "this day keeps getting worse."

"What made it so bad apart from that?" Rachael asked this time.

"Trystan." I said, "I mean his ex came into our class and is new. Then when she found out that Trystan and I were dating she stormed out of the classroom after the lesson. I called her a drama queen and a rich girl and basically spoilt brat. Then because I was annoyed, I told Trystan I didn't want to see him. That's basically all that's happened today and it just keeps getting worse and I hate it!" I groaned, shaking my head.

Just then I heard someone talking, or rather a girl. "Come on Trysy why are you dating that geek, she's a weirdo, she likes to read! You know why I joined that class." I frowned as I turned around to see Aurora clinging onto Trystan's arm.

"Speaking of which look." I mumbled. Each one of them lifted their heads to see Aurora and Trystan together, talking.

Trystan

"Aurora, why do you have to be so clingy?" I asked, "I don't like you anymore, you treat people like shit."

"Like you care you treat people the same."

"I did, only thing is, I've changed, unlike you and you know why? Because I realised treating people like dirt won't get you anywhere in life it'll just leave you with no friends. I may still have friends but because one of my 'friends' was rude to someone I like, they're no longer my friend. No one wants to be his friend because he's a (a/n: sorry about my language btw) prick always has been always will be, I just never noticed it until I met Jessie." I snapped at her, "now please just leave me alone!" I groaned, and got out of her grip before walking away, before I realised as I turned to see her go off in a strop and I saw Jessie talking with Sarah and her other two friends Emi and Rachael I think their names are.

I walked over to them, hoping Jessie didn't still hate me like she did when she got mad about Aury and I didn't do anything about Aury calling her names. I wouldn't have dreamed of calling anyone names like Aury called Jessie, at any time no matter what.

Jessie

I was in a deep discussion with Sarah, Rachael and Emi, when Sarah looked up and said,

"Trystan's coming over here." I suddenly looked at her and turned around and saw him coming towards me. What's worse is that I also saw Aaden coming towards us.

"So is Aaden." I mumbled, I put my head in the table, and by the time I looked up, both boys were behind me.

One boy who had gorgeous blue eyes, and brown hair and gorgeous in everyone and the other, blonde hair with brown eyes who I thought looked beautiful but was anything but.

I turned around to see both boys staring at me, one with sympathy and wondering if I was alright and the other with probably hatred since I was sitting with someone he didn't like.

"Hi," I said weakly. Trystan sat down beside me,

"Jess, are you okay?" He asked, worry in his eyes. I smiled at him,

"I'm okay, really I'm fine." He frowned but left it be, he knew I didn't want to talk.

"Mate," Aaden said, "what the fuck do you think you're doing with my girl?" He exclaimed.

"Your girl?" Trystan asked, "last time I checked, she's not a prize to be won." He growled.

"Really cause last time I checked, she was mine," Aaden said and suddenly grabbed me and pulled me up. "You're a dirty slut you know that Gerrick? Thinking you can go behind my back and sleep with another guy?" I swallowed hard, I couldn't say anything. It wasn't true but I was speechless because I was frightened.

"I...I..." I trailed off, trying to look at Sarah or the others for help, Sarah stood up.

"She's not yours and she's certainly not a slut!" She screamed, "do you even know her at all?!!!"

"Shut your face, weirdo, I asked her not you!"

"And you don't get to speak to her or anyone else like that. Alright?" Trystan suddenly said. "Now get off her before I do something I regret!" He snarled.

"Let me think... How about no?" Aaden asked, snarling before he punched Trystan in the face. He turned to me and pretended to soften. "I'm sorry you had to see that babe, come on let's go somewhere private."

I struggled to get free of him, "get off me!" I screamed, tears running down my cheeks, "get the hell off me!!" I cried.

"No sweet cheeks, you're coming with me, or your stupid boyfriend gets it!" He snarled. I was about to give up with someone ran over to us.

"Get the fuck away from her!" Someone screamed. Trystan. I looked up and saw him. I was suddenly being pushed away and I slammed against the wall.

The last thing I saw was Trystan punching Aaden. And the last thing I thought about was Trystan. I realised how much he meant to me, and how I truly felt about him.

I love you I said to him, or I thought I did. It was the last thing that happened before everything went black...
