Chapter 17 The Exs Part 1(The Ex Girlfriend)

A/N: hope you enjoy! This is where this chapter and next for Tressie get complicated which is why it's called 'the exs' fun times right? Anyways enjoy!

The first day proper day back at college after mock our exams that we had the week before, both Trystan and I got a shock, or rather 'a blast from the past'.

It all started when a new student was introduced in our Creative Writing Class, a little late to be starting I know, but I had no idea this person had no intention of staying. Apparently she was already at the college, but she decided to drop a subject for creative writing. I had never even seen her around and God only knows why she did it. Yes I said she.

But anyway, as we sat down in class and I started to talk to Sarah, just normally, the teacher suddenly cleared her throat to speak.

"Everyone we have a new student joining the class, she decided to join after she realised she wasn't getting on with another subject." The teacher began, "her name is Aurora Valentine."

"Aury, for short." The girl said, smiling a big supermodel smile. I could tell by the way she dressed that she could afford designer wear and a lot of it at that. She was a rich girl, and a spoilt one, at least I didn't know that until later on in the lesson. I then looked over to see Trystan suddenly look up and tense at the nickname.

"Trystan... You okay?" I whispered, he nodded stiffly,

"Fine," he said and kissed my cheek, before looking at me, he knew I knew he wasn't telling the entire truth, "I'll tell you later." He whispered.

"Well," the teacher said, "Aury... Why don't you sit down next to Trystan."

Aury grinned like she had won the lottery, she licked her lips almost possessively, "don't mind if I do," she said, as she walked — no, strutted — over to the seat on the other side of Trystan.

"Hey handsome," she mumbled to him, loud enough so I could see, "miss me?" She whispered in his ear.

Miss me? What the fuck?! I thought to myself, I nudged Trystan and gave him a look that said who the hell is she? Trystan sighed and mumbled in my ear,

"An old friend," I knew he was lying because he hesitated before telling me. I frowned at him, but shook my head, trying to forget about it, but I couldn't because she was right there, acting as if he was hers and she was his.

Half way during class, I got off my seat and sat down next to 'Aury' in the spare seat next to her.

"Hi, I'm Jessie!" I said very enthusiastically, and with a very tight smile while holding out my hand.

She looked up at me in disgust, "I'm not shaking a hand of weird girl like you, why would I?" She asked, "you're nothing but a geek." She spat. I wiped the spit from my face,

"Right," I laughed, "why would you especially when this 'geek' is dating the guy next to you." I smiled widely before moving back to my seat.

"Wait what?!" She said, far too loudly than I would've liked. She laughed, then grabbed Trystan,

"Why the fuck are you dating a dirty useless geek like her?" She asked, looking at only Trystan and completely ignoring me.

"It's none of your business Aury," he said, and pushed her off his arm as she grabbed it, like he was her possession and an object. "Now get off me!" He snapped and looked over at me.

"Why did you have to go and say that?" He asked me.

"To warn her, you may not be a possession but she can't just cuddle and snog you whenever she feels like it." I said, "since she's not the one you're dating."

"We've gone on one date Jess." He said, "but don't worry she's got nothing on me." He whispered in my ear his breath tickling it.

"So she's your ex, I'm guessing?" I asked and he nodded.

"I wanted to tell you, but later. That clearly didn't work did it?" He asked.

"No, but she kinda gave it away." I whispered.

"Yeah, but oh well." He said, "you're quite a badass when you get jealous."

"I can be even badder when I want to be." I said casually, smirking at him, before going back to my work.

**

Soon class was finished and I picked up my things and started to leave with Sarah. As we were leaving I felt someone push past me and storm out of the room. It was 'Aury'. I rolled my eyes.

"Drama Queen." I muttered.

Aury turned around infuriated, "what did you just say to me?" She asked.

"I said nothing to you," I said, "but about you. I called you a drama queen because you didn't get your way with your ex." I rolled, "because rich girls like you always get what you want." I sighed.

"Yeah because we deserve it, instead of giving it to skanks like you." She snapped back. That hit a nerve but I didn't let it worry me.

Sarah was furious at her and launched for her, "Sarah!" I shouted pulling her away from Aurora. "She's not worth it!"

"Of course she is, she called you a skank, she's a bully. I thought they didn't stand for bullies here?!" She screamed.

"Just leave it, okay? I'm fine, Sarah, I'm fine." I whispered, and she hugged me.

When I pulled away I saw Trystan, talking to her. I didn't hear what he was saying but she was giggling and twirling her hair around her finger, like they were flirting.

I closed my eyes, to stop myself from crying and Sarah saw me. She touched my should, "Come on Jess, let's go." That's when Trystan stopped talking to Aurora and went over to us.

"I'm so sorry about her, I tried to tell her but-" I cut him off, saying,

"Forget it. I don't want to hear any excuses. We're supposed to be dating and instead of comforting me when she said something like that you go to her! She's the one that's coming onto you and you're just taking it!"

"Jess, you started it." He said.

"Yes, I called her drama queen she stormed off because she saw us during class and then when she confronted me I told her the truth." I admitted, "you know how I could tell she was a 'rich girl' because she was acting like spoiled brat that couldn't get her way. So if you want to talk to her so much then be my guest because right now I don't want to talk to you." I said, choking on my words, hiding back tears.

I walked off with Sarah, and, forgetting to look where I was going I bumped into someone making me drop my books.

"Oh my god I'm so sorry I didn't even see where I was going." I said picking up my books.

"No don't be silly it was my fault," came a male voice, familiar as well. I swallowed as I looked up to see a familiar face.

Aaden Lovelock. My ex-boyfriend.

Oh joy I thought to myself, how can this day get any worse? And of course it only got worse from there.

A/N: hope you enjoyed if you did be sure to leave a comment and don't forget to vote for the chapter! See you in the next part!
