After Dr. Hernandez place Florida Man in the D.E.R.M.I.S, it started to glow a bright green. A loud whirring sound was heard as it help eliminate the disease within Florida Man's body.

This went on for sometime as the metal contraption did its work. Eventually, the whirring sound quieted down. The treatment was now complete. A crowd of medical students stood nearby, watching how the process went.

Florida Man was still asleep, his breath less labored. Dr. Hernandez  walked to Florida Man to monitor him. Florida Man was stable and had almost no chance of dying.

"Alright, get Florida Man back in the wheelchair and get him back to the over night room!" Dr. Hernandez says, motioning some of the medical student to assist him. Once Florida Man was in the wheelchair, they wheeled him back to the room.

"Is he alright, Doc?" Ellis asked, brows furrowed with worry.

"He should be fine to be discharged from the hospital after he wakes up. Be sure to have him on bed rest, keep him hydrated. He will still have symptoms, such as a cough, fever, headache and sore throat, but he will not go into stage two." Dr. Hernandez said, while she and some medical students placed Florida Man on the bed.

Meanwhile, Australian Man was asleep. Australian Man softly snored as he slumped in his chair. His face was wet with tears. He stirred, eyes opening. He caught the sight of Florida Man and his eyes widened.

"Oh thank fuck!" Australian Man said in as he relaxed. He moved his chair closer to the bed. He grabbed on to Florida Man's hand. He smiled, waiting for Florida Man to wake up.

After a few minutes, Florida Man opened his eyes. His head pounded and he rubbed his temples. He looked around frantically until he laid eyes upon Australian Man.

"A-Aussie, I'm sc-" Florida Man coughs, interrupting what he was about to say.

"I know, sweetheart. We'll head home as soon as we can." Australian Man says, patting his back.

"Sorry to interrupt, but you guys are allowed to leave whenever. However, it would be safer to wheel him out to the car since he was unconscious most of the time." Dr. Hernandez said.

Australian Man nods, helping Florida Man into the chair.

Ellis and Australian Man wheeled him out to the car. Florida Man was half asleep by the time they got to the car. They helped Florida Man into the car, laying him in the back. Ellis put the wheelchair by the waiting room and headed back.

Ellis sat in the front while Australian Man got in the back. Florida Man layed his head on Australian Man's lap. Australian Man raked his hands through Florida Man's hair.

The car was silent other than the occasional cough coming from Florida Man. Eventually they got home and it was two in the morning.

"Aussie, wake Florida up and get him to the house. I'm gonna set him up a comfortable spot on the bed." Ellis says.

"Alright, El." Australian Man says, shaking Florida Man's shoulder. "Wake up, dear. We're home now."

Florida Man sat up and gripped the side of the car. His legs trembled, tired from the hospital. He felt the weight come off his legs as he leaned on the Australian. They walked into their unlocked house. They eventually got to the bedroom that Ellis set up.

"Lay down and I will get some water and something for your head." Australian Man says gently.

"Mhm." Florida Man mumbles tiredly. He coughs again, tears on his eyes.

"Oh babe, it'll be okay. I know you're in pain, but you'll feel better soon. In the meantime, get some rest. I'm gonna get water, okay?" Australian Man said, kissing Florida Man's forehead.

Once he got a nod, he went to the kitchen and filled a grabbed a bottle of water and an Advil. He walked back and handed over the bottle.

"Take this." Australian Man says, handing the Advil over. Florida Man nodded greatfully, sipping the water and taking the pill.

Florida Man gave a pleading look to Australian Man, shivering with fever.

"You want to cuddle, don't you?" Australian Man asked.

Florida Man nods and his eyes lit up.

"Of course, you cuddly bastard." Australian Man snickered.

Florida Man crossed his arms and looked down.

"Relax, mate, I'm only kiddin' with you!" Australian Man laughed, putting his hands up in surrender. He sat down next to Florida Man, bringing him into a hug. He played with his hair, making the Floridian smile. Florida Man nuzzled into Australian Man's chest.

Florida Man was half asleep at that point. Australian Man whispered sweet nothings into Florida Man's ear. He kissed the too of Florida Man's head, smiling at the sight of his sleeping boyfriend.

He laid there, watching Florida Man. He rubbed his back up and down. He gave a quiet chuckle, not wanting to wake him up. After a half an hour, Australian Man falls asleep. Little did he know, Beth and Ellis silently cooed at the scene after checking on them.

Beth an Ellis walked to their room smiling at one another. Everything was coming together, including their relationship, Ellis thought.

"Ellie, I love you." Beth says.

"I know, and I love you too, goofball" Ellis laughs.

They looked at each other lovingly, as they cuddled in bed falling asleep.
