FIFTEEN. stuck with u
JERRY HAD somehow convinced Jack and Layla to help them de-stink the the lab after he managed to stink it up in the first place, but it actuality, he had pulled them into committing a prank on the principal and had his personal toilet explode.
That said, Jack, Layla, and Jerry were stuck with Saturday detention where they had to clean every bathroom in the school into the principal's.
"Another thing... you all will not be receiving MyPads."
"What?"
"That's right. You just cost yourselves a state-of-the-art educational learning tool."
The school had one of the highest test scores in state and they received the MyPads because of it and now, because of Jerry, they were unable to receive them.
And, just like that, Saturday came and Jerry was nowhere in sight.
Jack, Layla, and Principal Funderburk entered his office and turned when they heard rattling from the pipes.
"There's something rattling in the boiler room." Funderburk explained, "Because of your prank, we have to drain all the water from the pipes."
Soon, Jerry entered the room, speaking to girl named Donna over the phone.
"Well, glad you could make it, Jerry." Funderburk held his hand out, "Phone me, guys."
After collecting every phone they had, he left the trio alone in his office.
"You really messed up this time, Jerry." Jack spoke, "You cost us out weekend and we're not getting our MyPads."
"Oh, come on, guys. I'm sorry." He laughed, "You got to admit it was really funny though, right?"
"I really wish I could shove your head into the drain." Layla sighed.
"Maybe Funderburk's right. Maybe being your friend just isn't worth it."
Soon, Jack and Layla left Jerry alone in Funderburk's office.
And they hadn't even been gone for thirty minutes when then couple found themselves stuck in boiler room with Funderburk and another man who had chained their hands together.
"We've seen your face." Layla spoke, "What do you think we're going to do once we're free?"
"Doesn't matter." The man spoke, "These MyPads are worth a quarter of a million dollars. They're my retirement plan." He paused, "What are you guys doing here on a Saturday?"
Funderburk sighed, "Giving detention to these bowl busters."
Jack took notice of Jerry quickly and ushered him to get down, but he couldn't hear and took a step forward.
"Get down." Layla said and the man turned, "Sorry." She smiled, "You know those rats... big and hairy."
Brock only furrowed his brows and turned back towards the MyPads.
"Brock doesn't know that Jerry's still in the building. So we got that going for us." Jack spoke.
Soon, the intercom sounded and Jerry was the one speaking over it.
"Yo, Brock, it's Jerry. I am in the building. I'm in the principal's bathroom if you want me."
The intercom soon sounded off and Brock went to find Jerry.
And by the time he left, Jerry came rushing into the boiler room.
"Did you call the police?" Jack asked.
"No, I couldn't. He crashed the whole communications system. Computers, phones, the whole network's down." Jerry sighed, "You know, Funderburk I get. He's kind of flabby and physically weak."
"I'm right here."
"But you and Layla are both black belts. How did Brock take both you guys down?"
"He's the Heinous Hyena, the toughest cage fighter that ever lived." Jack explained.
"Jerry, you have to go get help. You can't fight him alone." Layla said.
"No. No, I'm not leaving you here with some deranged cage fighter. I got you into this mess and I'm gonna get you guys out."
Funderburk began to instruct Jerry on how to connect to the main security system to the MyPad so he could see where Brock could be.
"You lost me a red wire."
"Just plug it the MyPads." Layla sighed.
Once he did so, he took a step back, "Okay, now by using these poles and ropes, I can control everything in the building."
The group watched as Jerry pulled on different ropes and how Brock struggled, but didn't last long and Brock soon made his way back into the broiler room.
Jerry was able to grab Brock's keys and handed them towards Jack and freed himself and and Layla. They all squabbled with Brock for a while but they were able to chain him down.
Jack and Layla thanked Jerry for not running away and instead staying to help them out.
Jerry could be a mess at times, but he would always have his friends back... even if he had to drag them into his mess.
