I flop down on my bed as Jewel leaves and I relax. I found her, my friends are safe, with me, and by themselves, and I can help humanity. I'm ready for tomorrow, the day I get to go outside and find tinies that need saving. I think about Mark and André. They're not sleeping close to me like usual, and André seems a bit annoyed that he is sleeping with the other tinies. I too, am a bit annoyed because I still don't want to let those two out of my sight, with all the hybrids around. "But, I need to give them space to be alone, or maybe together." I sigh to myself, and start to get ready to go to bed.

Andre's POV
I creep out of my room, past Mark's and go to the door. I open it to see a nearly pitch black room, with little spots of light here and there. The clock in the corner of the room shines brightly.

I step out of the apartment and close the door soundlessly, before creeping to the right. I eventually find the stairs and sit on the banister. I close my eyes and push myself off, and I slide down the spiralling staircase. I reach the end and land on the wooden floor with a knock. It echoes around and I freeze. It's very hard to see the floor in front of me, and would be even harder to see a tiny person.

No one comes.

I stand and run to the door and into the hallway. I sprint barefoot past the two rooms in between Seto and I: Yoko's and Kalam's. "Both Nekos, so I have to be extra quiet." I think, and continue onward. I reach the door I know as Seto's and slip through the crack the open door left. His room was pretty simple, a bed, desk, and window. I see his cloak hanging in a corner and his bag underneath, but no Seto. I walk into a wash of moonlight streaming in from the window, along with some cold wind. I shiver at the coldness of a place usually filled with warmth. Suddenly, I hear a door open, and footsteps coming closer. I dart to the leg of the desk and get there just in time to see a giant walk into the room. I peek out to see Seto, and am about to greet him when I see a comatose body in his hands. "Yoko." I breathe, and retreat to the shadows. He walks to the desk and I shrink back, and scamper to his cloak. I jump up behind the cloak and start to climb, trying to make as little movements as possible.
I peek out of the side and almost let go of the cape when I come face to face with the giant. "Seto, what are you doing with..." I suddenly feel tired as he aims his faintly sparking gaze at me. I fight to keep my eyes open but when I feel Seto's fingers curl around me, I can't help but fall into their warm embrace...

Andre falls to sleep and I sigh, placing him on my pillow. I brush the hair out of his sleeping face. "I'm so sorry, André." I whisper guiltily, and return to my work. I have a flashback as I place Yoko into the chalk circle, and as I take out my empty tube. "I need this. I need this." I say to myself.
"But do I?"
"Yes." I say outloud and chant.
*One who is cursed with giant size,
Without this you'll vanish before your eyes.
Take this from the special one you saw,
And you'll remain alive for many moons more.*
The words slip off my tongue like milk, and I trap the familiar wisp in the tube. I place the tube on the desk and pick up Yoko. His youthful features stare up at me as I slip into his room and place him on his bed, pressing his watch, and they are replaced by the mask I had learnt to recognise.
Job done.
I return to my room and get into my bed, being careful not to startle him. I place my arms under my head and sleep.

"So, today's Seekers will be Seto and Yoko. You two will go out and collect tinies, together if you wish." Yoko smiles at me but I remain stone faced. "What about André and Mark?" I ask and Jewel turns to the guys. "Mark is going outside today, with Yoko." she states. "Aaaand André is staying home with Kalam."
"Where are you going."
"I'm gonna go shopping and stuff." she says rather quickly, but I smile. "Fine then!" I exclaim and hug her tightly. "I guess I'll be going."
"Don't you want breakfast?" she held me back from the door.
"No, I'm not hungry."
"Well, okay then." she walks away. I find Mark and André in the hubbub, and wave goodbye. I find Kalam's eyes and give him a stern glare. His features break into one of concern and he points to a mirror behind me. I gaze into it to find my eyes flickering black. I blink a few times and it stops, but I'm glad I sent him a message. I walk out the door into the woods, and soon the church is behind me, and I'm free.

I reach my first destination for human searching. A restaurant. I chose a new hybrid holograph this time. A snake hybrid. I slither forward on my snake body, coloured fully black with a red underbelly. Hopefully this will warn other hybrids that I have a poisonous personality. The restaurant looks posh and I want to go in ASAP. I check my pockets; empty. "I guess I have to make do." I shrug, and slide to the alley to the right of the restaurant.

It's empty, except for a few dumpsters. I open the lid and check inside, and find it's full of paper wrappings. "Perfect." I hiss slightly, forked tongue flicking out and in. I reach in and grab a fistful, and it transforms into counterfeit bills in my hand.
I reach in again and grab a tin can. I look inside and jump back as I see two tiny hybrids inside. They are both birds, which is strange as the bird hybrids are big. One has a crest of red feathers that he has folded down into a fringe, and iridescent wings and tail, the other, a similar crest of green feathers in an opposite 'hairstyle', with purple throat feathers, a swallow-like tail and a long pointed beak.

I slide my long tail inside and wrap it around them, but they don't try to fly away. They look tired and depressed. "If your going to eat us, please make it quick." says Red, looking up at me. "No guys, I won't, I'm human, just sit tight, I'll get you to somewhere safe and give you some food." They smile slightly as I unzip my bag and place them inside with ease. I leave a hole for them to breathe, and I continue on into the restaurant.
