Seto's POV
Alice almost falls off my shoulder as the tinies start teleporting in. They look confused but I tell them that they're safe, which calms their nerves. Most of the church tinies have come out to investigate, and I make sure they have nothing to fear. "Okay pet store guys." they turn to me. "Introduce yourselves."
They start rotating forward, saying their names out loud. Andrew, Bill, Chara, Dianne...
"Kalam! Can you get me a towel?" says a familiar female voice, and I freeze. Jewel.
"Sorry Alice and Brooklyn, you have to get off now." I pick them up and place them on the floor, where Alice starts braiding her hair. I stand up and walk to the bottom of the stairs opposite the altar and wait. André and Mark jump off my shoulder onto a side desk. "You go first." they say, and I fist bump them. "Thanks!"
I see her walk down the stairs. Her hair is curly and long, her fur shiny, wearing long pyjamas patterned with stars. She hums a little tune, then spies me. Her eyes fill with tears. "Seto!" and she walks down the rest of the stairs and barrels into me. I hug her tight and she cries over my shoulder. "I missed you so much. I'm sorry I had to go, I didn't trust myself." sobs shake her body.
"It's okay, I understand. Sometimes I don't trust myself." I reply, and release her from the embrace and hold her at arms length. "There are some others who would like to see you too." I say, and stretch out my arm to my friends, who jump on and run up my arm. "Mark! André! Wow you came too! Oh, I'm so glad to see you!" she picks them up and they hug her hand. "Us too!" they shout simultaneously, and she starts to purr.
"I'm so glad you came! You'll be safe here and you can help me with all the tinies."
"Sure, but we have some more for you!" and sweeps his arm toward the pet shop tinies, who all wave. "So many, thank you for bringing them here." she walks to them and starts to shake their tiny hands.
I sigh, it's so great to be back with her.

I stretch out in front of the fire, André sitting on my head and Mark in my chest pocket. The other tinies are crowding in front of me and on my stomach, which is full of soup. Alice and Brooklyn are somewhere close to my torso, so I don't move, and Yoko is sitting alone in the middle of the room. I decide to try and cheer him up. I copy myself and put my mind into the second copy.

Yoko's POV
I'm sitting in the middle of the room when someone picks me up without asking. "Hey! What are you doing?" I find Seto's upside down face, eyes a mixture of pink and yellow. "Let's play hide and seek. You have 3 seconds to hide and you have to stay in this room. I smile as he drops me to the floor and covers his eyes. "Go."
I sprint off to the wall and find a small crack where I squeeze in, and curl into a ball. "Coming Yoko!"
He steps shake the ground as he runs around checking the pictures and the wall. He blocks out the light as he places his eye up to the hole. "Found you!" he grins, and extracts me gently from the wall. "Now you come sit with us." he says and I smile weakly. In a flash, I'm in front of a fire. I lean back onto Seto's chest, pull his hand onto my body, and close my eyes, listening to his breathing.
knock knock knock
Seto tenses up, and so do I. That wasn't the special knock. He calls over Jewel and they speak in hushed voices. "Take them away, I'll handle this." he demands and she obliges. I remain in his hand, and after everyone has left, he shuts off the lights. "Put your mask on and take Andrè and Mark to hide." he tells me and before he knows it I am tall again. I take the two boys and run upstairs, leaving Seto alone in the dark.

Random Third Person
Daniel didn't listen to Jewel. Daniel doesn't usually listen to anyone. He remains in his corner, silent as a mouse. Well, he prefers rats. He watches as Seto gets up and brushes his clothes down. He then stares into empty space, concentrating on scanning the room with his mind. He finds Daniel and sends him a message:
I'll protect you but it's not my fault if you get hurt.
Daniel ignores Seto and remains silent. The mage pulls on his core, where he knows the Shadow Being still resides. Please control me.
He asks, and the Shadow accepts his offer. His eyes become fully black, but he doesn't lose control. Instead he feels immense power from the Shadow dimension, and Seto knows how he can scare away the hybrids at the door. He turns on the lights before walking forward and opens the door, looking to anyone like a normal hybrid. Outside stands a crocodile and a snake, both dressed in police uniforms. They catch a glimpse at Seto's eyes and look behind him. "Good evening sir. We've heard word that hybrids have been keeping humans inside this house." grunts the crocodile.
"Really? Well you can come in and check if you want but there are no humans here." Seto responds calmly, stepping away from the door.
"We'll see."
The snake and the crocodile slither in and Daniel catches sight of them. The long scaly body of the snake slithers past him, and he stops breathing.
"Nothing here." it hisses and returns to the other giant. Daniel lets out a breath and scaly fingers grab him. They pull him into the light.
"Well what do we have here? A human?" growls the crocodile, staring at Daniel with glee.
"Oh him. He's my pet, must've escaped his cage again." explains Seto, holding out a hand. Daniel looks at Seto with frightened eyes, but the giant remains cold and unfeeling.
"I was going to eat him anyway." says Seto, and he throws Daniel into his mouth, teleporting him.
"Oh, okay." says the crocodile, staring wide at this merciless beast. "Well, what's in here?" he points a claw to the cupboard where some of the others were hiding.
"My other pet." Seto tells them, drawing power into his manifest.
"Well lets have a look-see then." says the snake opening the door. As soon as he does a giant monster jumps out. It has pointed ears and black hair, with straight, white teeth that move upward halfway along its jaw. The crocodile and snake move away from the monster as it stares with glowing green eyes.
"Be careful, it eats hybrids." Seto says with a creepy smile, and lets the monster loose.
