This is my pawdito Scout :)

He's a Trench dragon, and he's the last of his kind, because the Bishops wiped them out only a few years after DEMA was founded. The Trench dragon is typically nocturnal, and has iconic features from the narrative and music videos - vulture wings and beak, cheetah body and spots, Ned ears and horns, and of course, yellow bands that resemble tape. Those bands glow in the dark, and these dragons initially guided the first escapees out of DEMA, before the Bishops trapped or killed them all.

I found Scout a few weeks into my first escape, tangled in an old trap left from the Bishops. I helped him escape and gave him a bit of bread to give him enough strength to find food, but he stuck around and I kept finding him rummaging through my food at night, though he'd fly away when I approached him. Eventually, he didn't hide when I looked at him, and became my companion through Trench. Though he hasn't been able to help me escape DEMA again, I hope I'll find him soon, because I miss him.
