Eda slammed the door open quickly causing Hooty to yelp in pain slightly from the force.

King ran to The sofa quickly as Eda carried in illusion.

"Come on kid wake up"Eda said worriedly as she patted Illusion's cheek.

The girls eyes were blank,not just the blank when you were asleep or unconscious but blank,there was no pupil or iris just a glowing white,her face was contorted into a shocked expression.

"What happened?"Eda asked king.

"We got chased and then found these monuments in the forest,I was telling Her about them and then she touched one of the stones."king said panicking.

"The calling stones?"Eda whispered to herself.

"Come on kid wake up "Eda said worriedly as she shook the human.

Octavia's eyes remained cold and white as if she was in a coma.

"What's wrong with her?"King asked worriedly.

"I don't know king,I don't know"Eda said as she held Octavia's hand.

No Pov:

Octavia opened an eye as she groaned.

Her vision was filled with greenish blue grass,it was slightly damp and cold.

Octavia sat up and looked around and saw a forest,very much like the boiling isles forests.

"Hello!"Octavia called out"Eda! King!"

Octavia listened but heard nothing back.

Octavia groaned again and began to walk through the forest.

Fireflies danced around her as she explored,the forest was beautiful but she couldn't shake the feeling someone was watching and following her.

She listened and then heard humming.

"Hey!"Octavia called out as she ran towards finding out who was humming.

As she ran she saw a lady with red brownish hair like hers.

"Excuse me miss?"Octavia said as she walked up behind her.

She spun around and held a staff with a red bird carved at the top.

"Woah woah!"Octavia elled as the wood was pressed against her throat.

"Who are you?'She hissed.

Octavia glared.

"I'm Octavia,I don't know how I got here,all I did was press a weird stone"Octavia said.

The woman sounded a lot like Eda.

"The calling stones"She whispered to herself.

"The calling what now?"I asked.

"Calling stones allow witches to communicate with the animals carved onto them,either on the mortal plane or the spirit plane"She explained.

"Wait spirit plane! Am I dead,shit my mom's gonna kill me!"Octavia yelled panicking.

"No you're not dead!"The brownette said"geez you're morbid"

Octavia rolled her eyes at her response.

"Anyway who are you?"Octavia asked.

To her the woman looked a lot like her.

The lady smirked and held her staff.

"I'm Evelyn"Evelyn said.

"Well Evelyn where am I?"Octavia asked sitting down on the grass with Evelyn.

"Well this is the spirit realm, seeing as I died hundreds of years ago"She snorted.

She definitely reminded Octavia of Eda.

"woah"Octavia said as she looked around the clearing,it was beautiful with fireflies and many flowers.

"Yeah,it's peaceful here,I just wish that I could see him"Evelyn said looking at the grass.

"Him?"Octavia asked.

Evelyn shook her head.

"It's not important,but you are"Evelyn said smiling.

"Me?"Octavia asked confused.

"I sense something in you Octavia,that's why I sent the calling stones a message"Evelyn said"that you'll help the boiling isles"

Octavia looked at her shocked.

"And there's someone I want you to meet."

Evelyn let out a low whistle.

A sharp whistle of wingbeats was heard and Octavia scooted away in shock as she saw a large black dragon land next to Evelyn.

It had dark blue eyes with obsidian scales.

It tilted it's head at her curiously.

"What is that thing?!"Octavia screeched.

"This vyra she's a dragon"Evelyn said as vyra sat next to her"or well a dragon shifter,a species of dragon able to change its appearance to hide better"

Octavia stood up slowly as vyra circled her.

"She means no harm but sadly her species is extinct,the emperors coven hunted them down long ago"Evelyn said sadly.

Octavia looked at vyra,the dragon was sleek and muscular.

"You can pet her if you want"Evelyn smiled.

Octavia beemed and began petting vyra.

As Octavia petted the dragon she looked at the sky as it was becoming unnaturally blue.

"There is not much time left before you wake up, I must ask something of you human"Evelyn said.

"What is it Evelyn?"Octavia said.

"Vyra wishes to transfer her powers to you,that way at least some part of the dragons would live on, you would be able to shapeshift"Evelyn said holding out her hand,if you agree I'll send help to you"

Octavia looked at Evelyn's hand and gently grasped it.

"Ok"Octavia said.

Evelyn smiled as gold magic traveled up Octavia's arms and into her chest.

"Protect vyra's magic with your life human"Evelyn said.

Octavia screeched as her world went white and she began to wake up.

"Octavia,oh my titan your awake!"
