Find Him
~Rose's POV
I stare at myself in the bathroom mirror. I look tired, but that's probably because of the baby. My eyes aren't shining like they used to, and I have quite deep bags under my eyes. I haven't been speeding well recently either. I'm so worried about this star thing, It just appeared out of nowhere, I'm so worried it's got something to do with the pregnancy, or worse. It's then when a I hear the bedroom door open, happy that The Doctor's back, I step out the bathroom. The Doctors stands at the doorway of the bedroom, looking a mixture of sad, confused, and downright angry. "Doctor, what's wrong?" I ask, immediately sensing his nerves.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't get to him, I tried..." He trails off, a tear escaping. Immediately I know this is serious, I haven't seen the Doctor cry for ages, it's a very rare occurrence. I move forward and search his eyes.
"What is it?" I ask, and then it dawns on me "Doctor, where's Matty?"
He swallows hard, obviously thinking if multiple ways to tell me this information. "The Master got him, I tried to stop him, but he was too quick." The Doctor babbles, barely audible. But I heard him, every last word.
"The Master?" I choke out "He's here?"
"Yes, and he's got Matty." The Doctor says.
"Well why weren't you looking after him?!" I shout, which is probably wrong being as I have no idea exactly what happened, but blaming the Doctor is an immediate reaction.
"I was! I went up to the counter to buy the shoes, and Matty was left on the beanbag tying his laces. When I turned round, neither Matty or the old man were there. I panicked, flew out the shop and there they were at the end of the street, I shouted and tried to run towards them, but they were too quick. The Master was disguised as the old man, and he pulled a teleport....they're gone." The Doctor swallows hard. I start to panic.
"Oh my god. Doctor, what does he want him for?! I thought he was in prison! We should've just killed him when we had the chance!" I shout, tears falling down my own cheeks now, unable to contain it.
"We'll find him, I promise." The Doctor says, moving over to me and placing his hands on my shoulders "I give you my word. I saved this last time, and I'll save it again. And by the end of it, that man will be dead." He says. I swallow down my tears
"What if he hurts him!? He could be doing anything!" I say shakily.
"He won't, we'll get to him in time, we have to leave now-" but just as the doctor tries to finish he sentence, a sharp pain like a knife stabs I to the back of my neck. I cry out in pain and fall to my knees, my hands covering the mark. "Rose? What is it? What's wrong?" The Doctor says frantically, kneeling over me. The pain subsides.
"I don't know, the pain's gone now. It was in my neck" I gasp. The Doctor moves behind me and pulls up my hair, moving away my hands.
"That definitely wasn't any ordinary tattoo." He says.
"What happened?" I ask, my neck still stinging rapidly.
"Look, I'll show you." The Doctor says. He gets up and grabs my phone from the side table, then takes a quick snap of the back of my neck. I stand up and face him.
"Let me see," I say, and take the phone from him. The picture is of the 5-point star, but on the top point on the star there is now a small, engraved "M".
"M? But what for?" The Doctor says.
"Master?" I ask.
"No, but it's definitely of his making. The Master wouldn't write his own initial on something like this it has to be something else....5 points, why? Why, why why? M, kept me think....Oh." It suddenly dawns on him.
"What is it?" I ask.
"Matthias, M. I don't know what the other points are for but we have to find out." He says. Without questioning any further, I take the Doctor's hand.
"We have to go." I say, another tear falling. My little boys in grave danger, and we need it stop the master before it's too late.
"Rose, it's dangerous, you can't-"
"No, stop. I'm coming. He's my son too, just because I'm 8 months pregnant doesn't mean I can't handle myself. So let's go." I say. The Doctor nods and we walk out the room and up into the console room.
"Where would he be?" I ask.
"I don't know, he could be anywhere..." The Doctor thinks for a moment before a spark lights behind his brown eyes "Yes! Of course! You and Matty share a link, you'll be able to find out where he is" the Doctor beckons to me "Come here," he says, I step towards him and he lays his hands on my temples "Now just close your eyes and think of Matty, and we'll know." He says. I nod.
"So I just think of him?" I say. The Doctor nods and closes his eyes. I do the same and think over and over: Matty, Matty, Matty, Matthias, Matthias, Matthias. I think of him, our little boy. Pale skinned, dark brown spiked hair, hazel eyes and that cheeky grin. The way he dances when he gets excited, the way he tries to hide a lie and his mouth picks up a bit at the corner, the way he fixes things and makes toys out of scrap in the recycling. I concentrate so hard on all the details. I search my head until I find him and the link opens, I allow the Doctor inside my head to see what I can see. I feel a deep amount if terror fill my head, and I know it's Matty, calling out for help. The Doctor then pulls his hands away, taking Matty out my head. I look expectant at the Doctor and he nods "I know where he is."

Hope you're enjoy thissss. Sorry for the small chapter.
But guys, I have a question, is my characterisation good for the Doctor and Rose? I'm just so worried they sound off, or they're out of character, please let me know in the comments! Love you all,
Ella :))
