IF ALEXA knew one thing it was that she would never take her own advice to heart.

She didn't know why people would take her advice in the first place but they seemed to take it anyways.

For example, Freddie had decide to go on a date with this girl named Valerie and they had publicly announced that they would go on their first date on iCarly.

"What if we did something like that?" Della asked, "Like where we auction of dates?"

Alexa sighed, "We'll put it on the board. I just don't know who we'd auction off."

"Kendall?"

Alexa smiled, "That could work. You're sisters attractive and smart. We'll discuss more later."

Della nodded and found Chase standing by his locker and went to discuss the idea with him.

Alexa sat down by her locker when Freddie approached.

"Am I in your way?"

Freddie almost seemed to be in a dazed of some sorts as he squatted down to get things out of his locker.

"Earth to Freddie." Alexa called, "This is your Captain speaking and she orders you to reply in t-minus 2 seconds." She laughed, "Heard you've got a girlfriend?"

Freddie shut his locked and joined Alexa's side.

Though she had this one sided feud with the iCarly crew, she found herself not "hating" Freddie as much as she use to.

"She's great." Freddie sighed.

"So, no more Carly loving for you?"

"Carly who?" He joked, getting a small laugh out of the girl.

"Well," She said standing, "as long as you're in a good relationship you'll be solid, nerd—"

"Can I ask you something?"

She nodded slowly and sat back down on the ground.

"I'm thinking about leaving iCarly."

"You know, Benson, if this was Carly telling me she was quitting I would over the moon, but it's you and you really like doing all that technical stuff."

"Maybe I'm tired of how Sam treats me."

"If you were tired of Sam you would've quit before it started." She said, "Why are you quitting?"

Freddie sighed, "Valerie wants me to be her technical producer."

"Hmmm. Checks out." She muttered.

"What?"

"Do you want the truth or the Alexa truth?"

He furrowed his brows, "The Alexa truth?"

"I think she's using you." She said, "She all of a sudden gets this nerdy guy to date and now she all of a sudden wants to do a webshow."

"I told her how much fun making a webshow could be and—"

"Did you mention the work? You always have backup plans for your backup plans, you have to keep your audience engaged, and you have to be as interactive, funny, and as informative as you can." Alexa explained, "Making a webshow is fun, especially when you have the right people by your side, but it's a lot of work."

"Maybe she's ready for it."

"I can't change your mind about it, Freddie, but you wanted my truth and I gave it to you." She said standing once more, "At the end of the day, you'll do what you think is best."

Alexa didn't wait for an answer out of Freddie as she left him alone with his thoughts.

A FEW days had passed and Freddie had apparently quit iCarly via email and that caused some worry for Alexa.

"No matter what a pretty girl may say...promise me that you won't quit the show."

Chase furrowed his brows and shut his locker.

Of course, he and Alexa were best friends. She was friends with him before she knew who Della was. Why do you think Alexa liked to edit some of the skits they had on the show?

They bickered like siblings and argued like best friends but it was weird seeing Alexa... care for him in some sorts.

They teased each other but they always did things together.

"Does Alexa Romano have compassion for other people?" He jokingly asked, resting his hand above his heart, "Who would've thought."

"I'm being serious, dork." She sighed, "And if I hear that you've cheated on Do Something you'll wish you had never met me."

"Trust me. I wish that right now." He laughed, "But I'm not going anywhere."

The two of them shared a small smile when Della ran towards the two of them.

"She told me not to tell you but I can't because you guys are my bestest friends ever—"

"The point?" Alexa asked.

"Valerie just tried to get Sam and I to join her show."

"She what?"

Chase stood in between the two girls, "You've made a very grave mistake."

Alexa scoffed, "I'm fine."

"I said no."

"I know, Della." Alexa smiled, "Now, if you excuse me, I have to scalp a brunette."

Della went to go after her but Chase pulled her back.

"Trust me... don't go."

Alexa saw Valerie in the halls and once she was in close range she threw her arm over the girls shoulder and grabbed and fist full of her hair.

"Don't scream and don't say a word." Alexa said and dragged the girl to a secluded corner, "I don't know who you think you are Valerie but if you think you can take my friends away from me you're messing with the wrong girl."

Valerie held a cocky smile as she brushed her hair down, "You're telling me you don't want to see iCarly go down in flames?"

"I do, but by my own hands! Taking Della away from me isn't going to make your life or your stupid show any better."

"Trust me, it will and when I win you'll wish you would've joined my side."

"Sleep with your eyes open."

Alexa left the girl alone and left with fury. As much as she "hated" the iCarly crew she wasn't going to let anyone take them down unless it was by her show.

ALEXA SAT in the Do Something studio as she edited the videos that would be up on their site that week.

She heard the elevator shaft open and saw Freddie walk in.

"Howdy, nerd." She smiled, "How can I help you?"

"You were right." He sighed.

"I know I was... but about what?"

"Valerie. She told me everything and even told me that she tried to get Sam and Della to join."

Alexa held a tight lip and shut her laptop, "I'm sorry about that, nerd. You know what's best for you don't you?"

"Rejoining iCarly?" He questioned, "I was gonna do that anyway."

"Obviously, but I think you should start thing about what's best for you. What's good for Freddie?"

"What do you mean?"

"Still have that undying love for Carly?"

"...Maybe?"

She smiled, "Know your worth Freddie. You deserve a girl who's going to like Freddie for Freddie and not because your smart. You're a good person."

"I thought you hated me?"

"I hate iCarly."

"I am iCarly."

"No, you're Freddie Benson." She smiled, "And your show starts in five minutes."

"Thanks, Alexa."

"Anytime, nerd."

Freddie gave the girl one last smile and a wave goodbye. He entered the elevator and rested his back against the frame.

He would take Alexa's words to heart but he was going to take baby steps as he did so.
