summary |
Anya Fontanes, despite being a rag to riches story, was a hardened woman. Coming from some of the poorer parts of L.A. area she was forced to grow up faster than most. She was also used to people underestimating her or thinking low of her. Especially when they find out she was a young mom with no baby daddy in sight. Despite all that, Anya was determined to give her baby girl the best life she possibly can and she was determined to do it by herself. That was until Eddie and Christopher decided to bulldoze their way into her an Tavia's hearts, setting the mother and daughter duo completely off balance.

• Anya is Buck's ex so there is some slight tension and awkwardness when she finds out Eddie and Buck are best friends.
• Tavia and Christopher go to school together, in fact, Tavia fought off a kid who was being mean to Christopher.
• Anya and Eddie have a friends with benefits thing going on. I imagine them being slow and cautious when it comes to actually dating with Christopher's mom being in the picture again and Anya trying to protect her and Tavia's heart.
• Eddie and Anya discuss trying to make their relationship official but then Christopher's momcomes back into the picture. This is suuuuper important bc Anya tries to go back to her old ways of being emotionless but then realizes that she shouldn't fall back on her growth because of a man

She was taught that emotions were weakness and she's slowly trying to break out of that mindset.
