Location: World 1 - Mushroom Kingdom

It was a normal day here at the Mushroom Kingdom as we see Luigi at the SMB3 Title screen, but his face was only showing a sad expression on his face as he is starting to remember the tragic moment that he had to endure over the years since the last time he was at the Mushroom Kingdom.

It happened 10 years ago, when Mario married Peach and had a son named Y/n and went on some adventures with his father and his uncle Luigi until one faithful day when Luigi decided to work with Bowser in getting rid of Mario for good because he had enough been in his brother's own shadow for too long and deserved to be in the spotlight.

However, things went horribly wrong when Luigi thought he had the upper hand after taking out his own brother, Y/n tried to get back at his uncle, Luigi accidentally knocked Y/n into the pit of lava, and he can hear the screams of pain coming from his dying nephew as his flesh and bones burn itself away from the fiery pit of death.

After his brother recovered from the fight, he saw what happened to his son and blames Luigi for killing his own son just because of how jealous he was of his own brother. Therefore, the news about Y/n's death were spread throughout the entire Mushroom Kingdom and Luigi was shunned by everyone including his own brother and his former partner, Bowser.

Because of what Luigi did, he was now banned from ever coming back to the Mushroom Kingdom and he no other place to go but the Mansion that was filled with so much ghost that he went on a nightmare-fueled adventure to save his own brother from King Boo. So, he stayed there for a really long time until he finally decided to come back to the Mushroom Kingdom, 10 Years Later.

Then as he arrived at the SMB3 Title Screen, he saw a F/c hat floating down to Luigi as he grabbed it and hugged it close to his chest and started crying about how sorry he felt and regretted every action he did that killed his own nephew.

He really missed him so much...

Luigi: (Crying) I...I missed you, Y/n....my dear, sweet nephew...I'm sorry that I did this to you...you didn't deserve to die in that lava pit...it should've been me...IT SHOULD'VE BEEN ME!!!

Then he went down on his knees, still clutching and holding onto Y/n's hat to his chest as he let out the waterworks to show everyone how sorry he felt about what he did 10 years ago and hopes that one day Y/n will forgive him for his actions.

Unfortunately for him, as he makes his way to World 1-1, he tried to act all brave and confident, but he was still upset about he did long ago when he was still working for Bowser as he makes his way to the end of the level with him close to the box that when you jump to hit the picture block, Luigi stopped for a moment before he collapsed on the ground as he can't continue on in his state of depression.

Luigi: I..........I...................(Crying) I can't continue on like this....

Then suddenly, he heard a familiar voice calling to him in the distance as Luigi looked up to see Y/n facing away from him at the far side of the stage.

Luigi: Y-Y/n?!

Without thinking twice, Luigi got up and quickly ran over to Y/n as he is happy to see his nephew again, but what he doesn't know is that Y/n has come back from the grave is about to have his revenge on his Uncle Luigi for killing him in that lava pit 10 years ago.

Luigi: Y-Y/n...is that you?

Y/n: Yes, Uncle Luigi......

Then Y/n suddenly twisted himself into a taller and lankier version of himself with his mouth gaping open and he quickly turned around and grabbed Luigi with both hands.

Y/n: It's me...YOUR DEAR NEPHEW!!!

Then without warning, Y/n took a bite out of Luigi's body before dropping of what's left of his entire body, leaving a bloody pulp on the ground.

Luigi may have lost a life from his own nephew that became a vengeful monster that is out for revenge.

Y/n: This game is just getting started....

With that, Y/n teleported somewhere else, and Luigi was sent back to the very start of World 1, but not before the map itself was grabbed by Y/n's hand as he used his strength to break it in half before revealing his face to the reader as he his game for revenge is about to start.

Y/n: It's time to go to the next level, Uncle Luigi....but this time....we're playing in MY WORLD!!! (Laugh Evilly)

He then opened his mouth, releasing Luigi as he began falling down to the edge of the screen and landed himself into World - ? as it was a world that looks like he is in Hell right now as the world he is in right now was created by his nephew for a chance to play with his uncle once again before giving him what he deserves on the final level of Y/n's world as Luigi goes into World - ?-1 to start the game.

Who knows what Y/n has in store for him once Luigi ventures out into the Dark Forest of Nightmares, so the green plumber should watch his six or he's gonna get his neck snapped by his nephew if he doesn't look what's behind him in time before he loses another life.
