Truth or dare (3/3)
"Brother", Loki said, "What do you want? Truth or dare?"
Thor eyed him warily. "Because I don't want you to tell the others any more childhood stories about us, I will choose dare."
Loki smirked and thought. "Hmm ..."
I shivered a little. The look on Loki's face made me glad I hadn't been chosen. It felt like there wasn't a right choice, Loki was cunning enough to make both options embarassing.
"Pretend you can't lift Mjolnir and you need my help to do it", Loki said smiling while leaning back against the wall.
Thor made his grumpy face again.
"Oh come on, you were the one suggesting to use dare on Loki!", Tony said. "We all know you love this game as long as other people play it."
"Yeah, do your part!", Natasha said and laughed.
Thor rolled his eyes and raised his hand, the hammer appeared and he set it on the ground. With a sigh, Thor stood up, his hands wrapped around Mjolnir.
I watched Loki, sitting there, satisfied with himself and throwing a single popcorn into his mouth. I still tried to calm down from the kiss, my face seemed to cool down, but the butterflies in my stomach were still dancing like crazy.
His glance slid over to me and catched me looking at him. I flushed red again and saw Loki's mischievous smirk from the corner of my eyes as my glance switched to Thor again. Damn, how I loved that smirk. But did he have to catch me? It felt like missing a step on the stairs.
Meanwhile, Thor tensed his muscles and blew out his cheeks. "Arrgh", he growled as he pretended to pull on the hammer.
I started laughing and everyone joined in.
"You are hilarious!", Bruce called.
"Great actor!", Steve said.
"You should win an Oscar!", Nat followed.
Thor, encouraged by the feedback, wiped non-existing beads of sweat off his forehead. "Arghhh!", he said as he pulled again.
"Don't forget the second part", Loki called, obviously having the fun of his life.
"Let me act, brother!", Thor replied cheerfully. He wrapped his hands tighter around the handle. "Uuaargh! By the gods. I might have to ...", he panted, "ask my brother Loki for help. The god of pink little kittens."
"What?", Loki exclaimed half indignant, half laughing. "That was not in the contract!"
"Oh, there is no contract for that devilish game, brother, you should know that by now." He smirked. "Do you actually want to try to lift it or should I choose the next person?"
Loki raised his nose. "Rude. Very rude, brother."
Everyone burst out laughing again.
Thor sat down, giggling to himself. "So, the next person is ..." He looked at the others. "Bruce."
"I am going with truth", Bruce responded.
"What a pity, I would have had a great dare for you", Thor said and looked to Loki. Everyone knew that Bruce was still a little scared of him. Like Loki was of the Hulk.
"No no, I stay with truth", Bruce said, making a face like he bit in a lemon.
"Okay", Thor said. "What nickname does annoy you the most?"
Bruce looked to the ground and sighed. "It's not actually a nickname. It's more like ... when people compare me to big green things I don't resemble the least! Like when Nat -", he pointed with his index finger at her, "said I look like a christmas tree when being Hulk. And (y/n), when I am holding a lighter, I do not look like the statue of liberty!"
I lifted my hands in innocence as the rest of the Avengers started to giggle.
"Not directly the answer to my question, but accepted", Thor said.
"Yeah, now everyone can tease me about it", Bruce said and smiled to all of us.
Steve saw Natasha yawning. "I think we should go to bed now. It is almost three after midnight."
I felt a little disappointed, but he was right. This sleepover wasn't the last one after all. And it wasn't over either, because we all slept in the Tower, and would stay up much later like every time.
Everybody got up and went into the next room to grab their things to wait at their turn at the bathroom.
I stepped over Tony's red and gold mattress, Steve's one with white, red and blue stripes, Nat's black one and Bruce's green one. My (f/c) one was between his and Loki's green-golden mattress.
I took my toothbrush and went outside again. Steve, Tony and Nat came my way, they were already finished, and Loki waited at the door. I placed myself in line behind him and only noticed the silence as he looked at me knowingly.
"Why are you looking?", I tried to act like nothing was up.
"I had the feeling you liked the kiss", he said as he leaned with one shoulder against the wall.
I love it when hot people do that. "Well, I am used to kissing at this game, so it was no big deal."
"Liaaar", he sang. "Besides, the colour of your face did say otherwise. Oh - says otherwise."
I tilted my head, knowing he got me. "Don't say you wouldn't blush when being kissed."
"I am above that", he said nonchalantly.
"Oh, really?", I asked. Then I decided something very brave very quickly. I stepped over to him and kissed him directly on the mouth. Loki made a sound I couldn't really identify, everything I heard was 'mmh'. Maybe it was moaning, maybe happiness, maybe the surprise. I just knew I would relish that moment like he did fifteen minutes ago. I bit a little on his lower lip and put my arms around his waist. A part of me was very calm in a happy way, another part was responsible for the firework of butterflies screaming 'you are kissing Loki!'
I pulled back and watched his smug face turn pink slowly. "Liar."
