Junior's POV

I joined Nica downstairs in the experiment room again. On the soft couches laid Lexy. I couldn't bring myself to stare at her long. Too painful to be honest.

"Remind me. Why were doing this?" Nica scolded prepping the equipment next to Lexy.

"Lexy is the love of my life. I can't waste a minute longer without her."

"Ah, young love." Nica chuckled and finished her prep station next to Lexy. I watch Nica closely as she put a small needle into Lexy's arm. I walk over to Lexy wrapping my arms around her calmly and humming to calm her as Nica pulled the needle out.

"Thank you Nica, I'll take it from here," I said to her carrying Lexy into my arms up to our room.

Lexy's POV

I dreamt of finding love in this world. My mother only had a love for Caroline, but my father couldn't even choose aside, even though he chose to side with my mom.

I can't recall how long, I've been unconscious.  The last thing I remember was Junior, and he did something to cause me to blackout.

"Lexy. If you can hear me, everything will be okay. You must truly understand, I did this to help us both." I hear Junior say to me.

~moments later~

I open my eyes to find myself in a hospital room, hooked up to an IV. "What? What's going on?" I asked pulling myself up on the bed, scanning the room to find my mom, dad, Caroline, Jake, and Devon outside my room.

My outburst caught all of their attention, and they raced in towards me. "Lexy thank god for your alive." My mother cried for once actually giving a shit.

"What your mom is trying to say is. We are glad to see you awake and perfectly fine." My dad spoke kissing my forehead.

"Where's Junior?" I ask frantically.

"What do you mean? He's still in the recovery room." Devon says.

"That's not possible, he and this girl named Nica..." I started to hyperventilate.

"Alexandria, you need to calm down." A nurse called out to me, I look at the nurse to see her as a Nica.

"GET AWAY FROM ME NICA!"

"Nurse what's wrong with her?" My mother cried.

"I'll need everyone to leave the room now!" The nurse ordered.

As I watched the nurse force my friends and family out of the room, I shot up from the bed getting a closer look at the nurse and truly recognizing Nica. "You Bitch. You did this to me." I yelled at her.
