Anna opened her eyes and found difficulty in adjusting with the morning light. And as she took notice on her surrounding, she quickly strengthens up from the bed but then a searing pain surfaced on her head from last night hangover.

"Ah, my head!" She groaned as she held her head in both her hands.

"What happened? I don't remember coming inside my room—" She trialled off as she tried to remember what happened last night. "—I was at the beach—crying," A beep from her phone snapped her from her thought.

"Call me when you wake up." She received a text from Maria. Without wasting a second, she dialled on her no. After a ring or two, Maria picked up the call.

"Ann, where the hell did you go last night? I was worried sick about you. What were you doing with Leo?"

"Wait, What! Leo? I was not with him."

"Really! Then why did he carry you to your room?"

"He carried me!"

"Yes, on his arms. You were already asleep so he carried you to your room—are you sure your families share a blood feud coz I didn't see it that way last night—"

"I'm hanging up," she ignored her questions and quickly hung up the call.

Anna got off from her bed and did a quick wash-up. "What happened last night? Why can't I remember anything?" She asked staring at her reflection as she poked on her forehead. Then she recollects Maria's words inside her head and thought about it.

"I was with Leo! But how?" she creased her brows together and decided to go and ask Leo directly about it. She strolled out from her room and made it to Leo's door. She placed a soft knocked on the door but to her surprise, the door opened silently itself. Anna slowly pushed the door wide and got inside. But as she stepped in further, her jaw dropped and eyes wide opened at the sight of a half-naked woman sleeping on the bed. Her heart dropped and her eyes were filled with unshed tears. And as she glared at the sleeping woman, she became familiar to her; she was the girl from last night who was with Leo. She quickly masked her emotions and walked out of the room.

And as she carelessly made her way to the elevator, she bumped into someone's hard chest and was about to fall back but two strong hands came around her waist and caught her.

"Are you blind?"

Anna quickly recognized his voice and pushed him away.

"I'm not blind," she retorted. "And I saw everything, very clearly." She spat out.

"Did you go inside my room?" he asked,

"Maria told me you brought me in, what happened?" Anna ignored his question and asked, not looking at him.

"You don't remember anything at all?" Leo asked.

"No, I don't. That's why I'm asking you."

"I don't know either, I found you sleeping on the beach sand so I carried you in." he lied and sighed in annoyance.

"I hope you had a very good time last night." She was being sarcastic.

"Yes, it was the best night I ever had," Leo said and moved closer to her. Anna glared at him and stands on her ground. Leo leaned closer near her ear.

"You're on my way, Miss." He whispered before straightening up and shoved her to the side and continued to walk towards his room. Anna angrily curled her fingers behind his back and threw a kick at the imaginary objects.

"Forget it, Anastasia. Just don't give a damn about other's business. I'm here to enjoy my best friend's wedding so let's do it." she talked and encourage herself. Then she went downstairs looking for Maria.

Leo got inside and closed the door behind, "She doesn't remember a thing," he sighed in annoyance. He heard Kazimir and the lady laughing and rolled his eyes over, "Kazimir, get your fucking whore out of my room before I murder her." He shouted standing beside the door.

"She's leaving already," Kazimir and Bianca came to his view. "See you later, dear." He kissed her.

"Bye, Leo," Bianca gave him a sly smile as she walked passed him towards the door. And right on cue, Gideon entered and Bianca left.

"What's going on?" Gideon asked as he made his way inside. Leo rolled his eyes over and settled down on the couch. Gideon and Kazimir settled opposite to him.

"Tell the room service to change the sheet immediately, I fucking need some sleep," Leo said in annoyance as he rested his head against the couch and closed his eyes.

"Damn it, Kazi. Did you fuck in his room?" Gideon threw him a stupid glance before dialling on the room service.

"Send service for cleaning at room no. 1108." Gideon informed over the telephone and kept it.

"Did you order men to clean your room already?" Gideon asked to which Kazimir nodded at him. "Seriously, Kazi, next time, don't fuck a virgin if you're not gonna take it slow." Gideon chided at him.

"I suggest you should stop doing that. You're under treatment, Kazi." Leo said quietly, his eyes still closed and his head resting against the couch.

"Yeah, you should stop wasting your time and get real, my friend." Gideon agreed with Leo.

"Anastasia was here," Leo sighed heavily making his friends look at him, then he opened his eyes and straightened up from his relaxed position. "And she saw your woman lying on the bed and she misunderstood everything." He scowled running his hand over his hair.

"Why do you care about it?" Kazimir pointed out and ask wearing a teasing smile.

"Tell us what happen between the two of you," Gideon said.

"We were together five years ago, none of us was aware that she belongs to the Harondale, neither does she. Everything falls apart after the truth revealed." He said and leaned back against the couch and continued to tell them everything.

"Do you still love her?" Gideon asked.

"No," he denied it. "We are nothing but enemy, the enemy under truce."

"Stop denying it, Leo. It's clearly written in your eyes that you still love her and you long for her." Kazimir said looking sincerely in his eyes. Leo sighed in annoyance and look away from him.

"You're mad at her because she left you." Gideon said feeling amused, "But then—" his voice turning serious as he thought in space, "—I have to say, I guess Anna did the right thing back then." Leo snapped his head towards him.

"I agree too," Kazimir prodded. "If she didn't decide to leave you, there would have been more funerals." He added thoughtfully.

"She should have trusted me," Leo said with a tad of anger.

"What do—"

"Enough! I'm going out for breakfast. You guys joining?" Leo interrupted and stood up from his place. Gideon and Kazimir threw glances at each other before standing up from their position.

Anna went downstairs and found Maria sitting in the café with other girls. Maria on seeing Anna waved her hand animatedly and gestured her to come. Anna shook her and chuckled at her before strolling towards her.

"I was just about to come to you," Maria said as she reached them.

"Goodmorning, everyone," Anna greeted glancing around.

"Good morning, dear," Joanna and Emma greeted her back with a warm smile. "How are you, Anna? I didn't get to meet you yesterday." Emma asked.

"I'm fine," Anna said but suddenly pain pricked inside her head again and she winced immediately.

"You alright, Ann?" Maria asked worriedly, Joanna and Emma looked at her with concerned eyes.

"My head, it feels heavy," Anna said rubbing on her forehead.

"Hangover from last night!" Joanna jerked an eyebrow.

"I guess," Anna said wincing.

"Come here, Anna. Let me massage it for you." Emma said and took her by her hand and let her sat beside her.

"You don't drink much, Anna. What made you drink so much to get you drunk?" Maria asked.

"I don't know, I just felt like drinking," Anna answered with a shrugged, feeling relaxed from the massage.

"Change is coming," Joanna gave her a sly grin. "We're having bikini's party tonight, Anna. I'm hoping to see you in one."

Anna chuckled softly with her eyes closed. "I don't think so."

"But you have to join." Maria pressed.

"Alright," Anna opened her eyes and tilted her head up to see Emma. "Thank you so much, Emma. I'm feeling really good now."

"Anytime dear," Emma smiled at her and withdrew in her place.

"I want to go sight-seeing," Joanna suddenly said looking around. "This is my first time visiting California."

"Mine too," Anna said.

"Let's go for a ride then," Emma said animatedly spreading her arms wide.

"Good morning, ladies." Kazimir greeted them and settled on the couch beside Anna. Gideon sat with Maria while Leo sat on the single-seated empty couch opposite to Anna. "What interesting topic are you guys talking about?" Kazimir asked looking at Anna.

"We're planning to go sight-seeing," Maria answered feeling amused.

"It's Joanna and Anna's first time visiting California," Emma said.

"Really!" Gideon exclaimed.

"Would you guys like to join us?" Joanna asked giving a sly look towards Leo. Anna on noticing that narrowed her eyes at Joanna.

"Sure!" Gideon and Kazimir agreed excitedly.

"What about you, Mr Handsome?" Joanna asked Leo making everyone to look at her amusedly except for Anna, who was busy pretending to look on her phone.

"Only if Anastasia rides with me," Leo said looking at Anna. Anna snapped up from her phone and creased her brows at him. Gideon and Kazimir threw him amused glance while the ladies narrowed their eyes darting between them. Leo straightened up from his place and jerked an eyebrow at Anna.

"Guess you're staying behind then, coz I'm never riding with you." Anna retorted crossing her arms over her chest.

"Don't be scared, I won't kill you," Leo smirked at him.

"I'm not scared," Anna snapped glaring at him; Leo simply smirked at her which made her annoyed. "Fine, I'll ride with you."

"Alright, Maria will ride with me. Joanna and Emma ride with Kazimir. Anna rides with Leo. Let's go now!" Gideon stood up from his place and said excitedly. The rest of them mirrored him. The ladies walked forward while the gents were behind them.

Kazimir came besides Leo and rested his hand over his shoulder. "What're you planning to do with her?" He asked, glancing him a teasing look before staring at Anna's back.

"Nothing!" Leo shrugged off.

"Oh-oh, What's going on in your dirty little head?" Kazimir teased.

"I'm not you," Leo deadpanned.

Once they made outside, they saw three jeeps parked outside the entrance. The valets came to the ladies and gave them the keys.

"Enjoy the ride, ma'am," They said in accord and left the place.

"Gideon," Maria looked back and passed the key to him Joanna passed it to Kazimir. Anna lifted the key near side cheek and jerked an eyebrow towards Leo.

"I'll ride," Anna smirked at him before turning and strolling towards the last jeep.

"No way," Leo retorted and strolled towards her. "Give me the key," they came face to face.

"No, I'm driving." Anna retorted back, looking up to him. Leo glared and stepped forward making her back pressed against the jeep. She gasped out loud when he curved down and came a few inches away from her lips.

"Be a good girl and you'll live longer," Leo whispered lowly before snatching the key from her hand. Anna let out a deep breath as he pulled away from her. They both looked away from each other and silently settled in the jeep.

"Guys, Joanna wants to go to the Hollywood Sign. Let's enjoy the ride there." Kazimir Voice popped out from the tiny intercom fixed at the board. Kazimir stood up from his place and turned back to the jeeps behind. "Are you guys ready to enjoy the ride?" he shouted and spread his arms animatedly. Gideon and Maria popped their hands up and waved at him.

"He's being so dramatic," Leo muttered under his breath before lifting his hand up and showing him thumbs up. Anna sat on her place feeling amused and waved at Kazimir.

Kazimir retrieved back to his position and started the engine. He drove first and the others followed him.

Anna felt at peace as the wind blew over her, flipping her hair in all direction and she was enjoying the ride, loving the beautiful landscape. Leo glanced at her and a small smile escaped his lips. Anna relaxed against the seat and gazed at Leo as flashes from five years back came rolling inside her head.

"You need to shave,"

"Thanks for reminding me, I always forget to do so."

Suddenly her eyes were filled with water and she quickly looks away from him. And soon there was a voice coming out from the intercom.

"Guys, let's stop by, I need to use a toilet," Maria informed and soon they all slowed their jeep and stopped by the market.

Maria came out of the jeep and rushed to the public toilet. Joanna hopped out from the jeep as well and looked around the market and saw people gathering. The market was so colourful and there was fun music echoing from all around. Anna was also busy watching around from her seat.

"This looks fun," she said to no one in particular.

"It's a festive week, it's celebrated every summer," Leo informed.

Maria came out after her needs and joined them. "Guys, how about we cancel the sight-seeing and join the celebration," Joanna said, her eyes still fixed to the market.

"Let's do that, we can go sight-seeing next time," Kazimir said getting out from the jeep and Emma came out as well. Gideon came out from the jeep and they all strolled towards Anna and Leo who were still inside.

"Do you guys have other things to do?" Kazimir asked giving them a teasing look.

"No," Anna snapped and quickly got off from the jeep. Leo rolled his eyes over and sighed in annoyance before getting off the jeep.

Anna and Maria walked side by side while Joanna and Emma walked together and the boys walked behind.

"You look pissed!" Kazimir teased glancing at Leo.

"I hate the crowded place." Leo deadpanned.

"Girls!" Kazimir said making them turned towards him. "Let's split up and enjoy our moment."

"Maria, come with me," Gideon said and dragged her along with him.

"What about Anna?" Maria asked.

"I'll be fine," Anna said quickly and waved at her.

"Joanna, Emma, let's go and win some shits," Kazimir cooed and rested his hands on their waist and lead them.

"Enjoy, both of you." He said over his shoulder before continuing to walk away.

Anna rolled her eyes over and started to wander off.

"Where are you going?" Leo asked making her turn back.

"I'm going to enjoy myself, you go enjoy yourself too and don't follow me." She said giving him lazy glances. She turned and started to walk but then she felt him following her and carelessly made a turn only to bump on his hard chest. She grabbed on her nose as pain pricked upon it and groan.

"You alright!" Leo quickly curved down to his level and asked in concerned.

"I'm alright," she took a step away from him and looked away but then her eyes caught on something else, something that made her smile immediately. Anna strolled towards that way and entered inside a gift shop. Leo eyes followed her and went after her. Anna wandered off inside the little shop, admiring the varieties of dream catchers being hung. Leo joined her shortly and stood beside her, glancing at the objects.

"All of them are so beautiful." Anna smiled touching the dream catchers and her eyes suddenly glance towards the counter and saw an old man staring at her. She gave him a small smile and drifted back to admiring the dream catchers.

"I have many collections of it," Anna said. She picked up one of it and smile happily, "I'll buy this one." But then she remembers that she didn't carry any cash, she has left her purse in the hotel room. She thought for some seconds before deciding to ask money to Leo and as she turned to look at Leo, her eyes fell on the old man again who was still staring at her warmly. She gave him another smile before turning towards Leo who was busy admiring the beautiful objects hanging around. Anna stared down and poked his back, making him turn towards her.

"I forgot to bring my purse. Can you lend me some money? I'll pay you back once we get to the hotel." Anna said looking down. Leo glanced down at her feeling amused before taking his wallet out from his pocket.

"You can take as much as you want and no need to pay back," Leo said placing his wallet on her hand. Anna jerked up and looked at him in confused at his behaviour.

"I'll pay you back." She said before turning and strolling towards the counter and Leo followed her.

"Hi," Anna greeted smiling at the old man.

"Hello!" The old man smiled. "I'm really sorry, miss, for staring at you but I have to say, you are the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in my whole sixty years." He said sincerely. Anna flushed and smiled shyly.

"I'm speechless, sir. Thank you so much." Anna smiled widely at him.

The old man chuckled softly and turned his head towards Leo. "You're a lucky man." He said.

"No, we're—"

"I know I am," Leo interrupted and smiled at the old man. Anna gave him a pointed look before turning to the old man.

"How much for this, sir?" Anna asked gesturing the dream catcher in her hand.

"Oh no dear, you can take it for free. It's a gift from me to the most beautiful lady," The old man said.

"But sir—"

"Please accept it, dear." The old man interrupted softly.

"Thank you, sir," Anna accepted it and smiled at him.

"No problem, dear, enjoy your day."

"You too, sir."

Once they made out of the store, Anna passed his wallet and looked at him, glaring. "What are trying to play at?" She demanded angrily. "One moment, you'll be cold and the next moment you'll be different."

Leo leaned down closer to her level and look into her eyes, "I'll do whatever I want. Do not misunderstand and don't get swayed away, nothing is the same as it was five years ago." He whispered hissed at her before straightening up from his position and walked away angrily without glancing back.

Anna stood there glaring at his back until he disappeared making a turn. Then suddenly she felt a heavy metal tapped behind her back and felt someone presence beside her.

"Move and you're dead." Anna heard a familiar voice saying, making her eyes go wide in shock.

"Sabrina!"
