Gideon and Maria drove to the location Leo had told them and arrived at the hotel for picking them up in the morning.

"Leo, my boy, how was your night?" Gideon teased as Leo and Anna came out of the hotel. He went near Leo and wiggled at him.

"Amazing!" Leo smirked and grinned at him, Anna walked passed them and quickly got up at the back of the Jeep and settled down.

"You alright, Ann?" Maria asked as she settled on the passenger seat and turned to look at her.

"I'm okay, I'm sorry I couldn't get the flowers for you."

"No worries, it's taken care of. I'm happy that you're okay. Gideon told me that you guys were chased after by some gangster." Maria said and Anna silently nodded at her. 

"Okay ladies, let's get going," Gideon smirked and sat on the driver's seat. Leo came around and settled at the back of the jeep just opposite to Anna. He lifted her left leg and placed it on his lap.

"How's your leg now? Is it hurting?" he asked as he gently nudged on her ankle.

"It's not hurting anymore." She answered and put her leg down.

And as they reached the resort, Anna quickly got off from the jeep and without even glancing back; she strolled inside and marched towards her room, her injury long forgotten. She got inside her room and settled on her bed but soon there was a knock on her door.

"Anastasia," Leo called to her from the other side.

"What do you want, Leo?" She asked out loud. He didn't answer and simply entered inside. "I don't remember calling you in."

"You don't need to," He said and knelt down in front of her. He took her left leg and checked it. "You knew you sprained your leg but still you ran carelessly," He couldn't help but chide. "The swelling is getting worse." He said and gently massage her leg, Anna involuntarily winced in pain and tears formed in her eyes.

"Ah! It's painful!" Anna cried out and pulled her leg immediately when Leo twisted it gently.

"I'm sorry," Leo said quietly and reach for her leg. But Anna pulled it away from him.

"It's very painful," She cried and shook her head.

"Who told you to run carelessly and made it worse?" Leo chided at her before gesturing her to place her leg on his hand. Anna pouted in bad temper and placed her leg on his hand.

Leo massaged her leg and put some ointment before wrapping the swollen part with the bandage.

"Who were those people?" Anna asked looking down at him.

"Bolton's! They are a mafia group in Italy." Leo answered, busy wrapping the bandage.

"Why are they after you?" Anna asked.

"I rejected their proposal not long ago and so they are after my life," he answered.

"Marriage proposal!"

Leo glanced up at her, "Yes,"

"Why did you reject so?" Anna asked, pretending to be uninterested. "You could've made allies,"

"I don't need allies," Leo said in a little bit of annoyance and stood up from his place.

"So what are you going to do about that girl?" Anna asked in a bad temper, she looked away trying her best not to show him. Then Leo curved down and came closer to her face.

"Look at me," Leo said softly making her face towards him, "You tell me, what will I do to that girl?" He asked in a tad of amusement in his voice.

"I don't know," She said softly, "She wants to marry you, she must have loved you very much." She said as she gulped harder.

"But I love someone else." Leo deadpanned and looked straight into her eyes. "And she's right in front of me." He confessed.

"Don't, Leo," She said quietly looking at him with sad eyes. "We share a blood feud—"

"I don't care," he interrupted her softly and looked at her.

Anna quickly looked away from him, "Thank you for tending, you can leave now." She said as she masked her emotion to being cold. Leo sighed in annoyance before straightening up and walking away angrily. Anna slowly drifted her eyes towards him and stared his back.

Leo suddenly stopped at his track and looked over his shoulder. "You chose your family over our love. You left me." He said over his shoulder. "And you're still doing it and avoiding everything between us." then he turned back only to see Anna filled with tears. "I was angry, sad and hurting." He sighed and uttered softly and strolled back to her. He knelt in front of her and stared at her with sad eyes. He reached for her cheeks and wiped her tears away gently.

"I'm hurt too." She cried and closed her eyes as she let her tears fell freely.

"I've died a million times inside seeing you hurting," He pulled her closer, came face to face and whispered softly. "Stop hurting yourself and come to me, Mio Coure," he begged with the most longing voice.

"You have to understand, Leo." She shook her head and slowly pulled away from him, creating distance between them.

"Only if you have trusted me," Leo said under his clenched jaw as he looked at her with sad eyes. Then he stood up from his place and strolled away angrily without looking back.

As soon as he left the room, Anna cried out to her heart as she clutched tightly over her chest, "I'm sorry, Leo."

Anna spent her whole day crying inside her room and fell asleep. She woke up with a sore throat and a closed nose. She gently straightened up from her bed, taking care of her left leg and looked outside through the window. It was already dark outside. She pulled her left leg and unwrap the bandage. The swelling has improved and the pain has lessened.

"You're finally awake!" Maria said and barged in, "I came to you many times but you were asleep peacefully. I didn't want to disturb you, so I just kept leaving." She said and sat beside her on the bed. "How's your leg?" she asked staring at her left leg.

"It's fine now," Anna said dryly. Maria looks up to her and her expression instantly turned into concern when she noticed Anna's face.

"Oh my God! Ann, did you cry?" Maria asked reaching for her face. Anna didn't answer and simply looked away from her. "Was it because of him?" She demanded. Anna remained silent. "What did he do?"

"Nothing,"

"Ann, I'm your best friend, you can tell me everything," Maria said and held on her hand gently.

"I just feel so guilty for hurting him," Anna said and she cried silently. Maria moved closer to her and hugged her gently, rubbing her back, sending her comfort. "I left him alone again." She cried as she ducked her head into Maria's chest.

Maria gently pulled her away and wiped her tears away. "Anna," she said softly making Anna look at her, "Stop hurting yourself and stop hurting the man you love. Both of you have hurt enough. You both have so much love for each other, don't let it go." Maria held both of her shoulders and looked her straight in her eyes, "For once in your lifetime, fight for your love—fight for him." she said firmly making Anna to lost in her own thought.

"Where is he now?"

Anna wobbled out from her room and strolled inside Leo's room without knocking. She looked around but Leo was nowhere to be found. Then she made her way to the elevator and downstairs looking for him. She made outside of the hotel and looked around the beaches and the bars. She sighed tiredly and stood outside one of the beaches bars and glanced at the distant shore and caught sight of Leo's back, standing and facing towards the waves. And she made her way to him immediately.

Leo stood by the shore and faced the ocean and drank his bottle of beer. He sighed heavily as he let sadness took over him.

"You left me again." He gulped as he let tears fell down on his cheeks.

"Leo," He turned to his right and saw Anna standing some distance away from him.

"Stop!" He snapped when Anna moved a step towards him. "Go away, I don't wanna talk to you." He said and walked away from her.

"Leo," Anna called to him but he didn't stop and continued walking. She followed him back but suddenly pain seared in her left leg and she cried in pain as she fell on the sand. Leo quickly turned back and ran to her.

"Anna," he curved down and looked at her leg. Anna immediately wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly.

"I'm sorry, Leo." She sobbed. "I'm sorry for leaving you," She pulled away and cupped his both cheeks, "I'm sorry,"

Leo held onto her hands and looked at her, "Promise me you'll never leave me again." He said.

"I promise." She said softly.

"I love you so much, Anna." He said and quickly reached for her lips. She immediately response and kissed him dearly.

"I love you more," she pulled away and smiled at him before going back to kissing. Leo put his arms under her and lifted her up in bridal style. Anna gasped and squealed under their kissing.

"It's a blessing to see the both of you happy together," They heard Gideon's voice saying out loud and turned towards that direction. Gideon, Maria and Kazimir strolled towards them with a huge grin playing on their lips.

"Put me down," Anna stared up at Leo and said.

"Can you stand?" he asked and she nodded at him. Then he gently puts her down on her feet.

"I'm happy for you, Ann." Maria squealed and gave her a huge bear hug and stroked her.

"It's time to celebrate!" Kazimir said animatedly opening his arms wide.

They went to one of the beach bars and celebrate. They spent hours chatting and laughing among them before Leo and Anna decided to take the night off.

"We'll be heading in, you guys coming?" Leo said. He was standing behind Anna and his hands were wrapped around her waist.

"You guys go ahead, we'll stay for a while," Kazimir answered and gave them a wicked grin. Leo rolled his eyes at him while Anna simply chuckled at him.

"Goodnight, see you guys in the morning," Leo said before strolling away with Anna.

Anna rested her head on his shoulder as they walked in the hotel and to the elevator. They came to a halt in front of Anna's door and face each other. Leo leaned down and placed a soft kiss on her forehead.

"Thank you for coming back to me, Mio Coure," he said feeling content.

"Goodnight, Leo," Anna smiled at him and placed a soft peck on his lips.

"Goodnight, my love. I'll see you tomorrow." Leo gently cupped her cheek and smiled at her.

"Bye," Anna got inside and glanced at him before closing her door. Leo turned away with a huge smile playing on his lips and got inside his room.

Anna woke up from her peaceful sleep when she felt a soft impact on her lips and smiled widely before opening her eyes.

"Buongiorno, Leo," She wished him. "What are you doing here early in the morning?" She asked as she lazily straightened up from her bed.

"I came to see you," he smiled at her and ran his hand through her messy hair. Anna placed her arms at the back of his neck and pulled him closer and kissed him. Leo lifted his legs on the bed and hopped on. He wrapped his arms around her waist and hauled her up over his lap. Anna squealed in laughter under their kiss. In the middle of their sweet moment, Leo's phone rang up, breaking their kisses. He fetched for his phone in his pocket.

"Gideon," he said to Anna before receiving his call.

After listening over the call, he hung up.

"They're calling us downstairs to try the outfits," Leo informed looking up to her.

"Okay, let me freshen up, I'll be quick." She placed a quick peck on his lips before getting off from his lap and strolling inside the bathroom.

They made their way downstairs and entered into a room which was turned into a fashion designing spot overnight. Anna looked around and saw Emma and Joanna; they were already trying out their outfit. Both their dresses were golden in colour, the bridesmaid dress code.

"Anna," Joanna waved her and gestured her to come.

"Both of you are looking lovely," Anna complimented as she gazed at them.

"Thank you so much, dear." Emma smiled.

"Anna, you'll be surprised to see your outfit." Joanna wiggled her brows at her and gave her a sly grin.

"What do you mean?" Anna asked.

"How do I look?" Kazimir came and joined them. He was wearing the outfit for the wedding.

"You look decent," Joanna said and laughed at him.

"You're looking very handsome," Anna said with a sincere smile.

"Thank you, Anna." Kazimir grinned at him and soon Maria and Gideon came with their outfits and joined them.

"Buddy, go and try it on," Gideon said and passed the black tuxedo to Leo. Leo took the tuxedo and gaze at it.

"Anna, here's yours," Maria passed her the golden dress and smirked at her. "I designed it especially for you, you're going to look stunning in this." She said with a cheeky but teasing grin.

"Now both of you go and try it on." Kazimir came behind them and pushed them forward towards the trial room. They came and stood in between the trial room and look at each other.

"Let's do this," Leo said to which Anna nodded at him. Anna went inside the left trial room while Leo went inside the right trial room.

Anna took the dress in her hands and checked it. Her eyes went wide when she took in the dress.

"Maria, are you sure this is the dress I'm gonna wear at your wedding?" Anna asked wide eyes open as she looked at the dress in shocked.

"Yes, Anna," Maria answered amusedly from the outside.

"This dress is backless, I don't like wearing backless and you know that very well," Anna complaint in a whine. Her friends laughed at her innocent complaint while Leo chuckled heartily in the middle of wearing on his outfit.

"Cute," he chuckled softly.

Leo was done with the tuxedo and came out of the trial room.

"Well, you're looking stunning, Leo." Maria complimented.

"Perfect definition of a Gentleman," Emma said sincerely with a smile.

"Obviously, he is perfect after all you're going to be best man," Gideon said and strolled towards him and rested his arm on his shoulder and said proudly. "Not forgetting you as well, Kazi." He gestured at Kazimir and smiled at him. "Life would have been boring if I didn't meet you guys," he was getting emotional.

"I'm hurt," Maria crossed her arms over her chest and said amusedly. "I'm jealous at both of you right now," she jested glancing at Leo and Kazimir.

"Don't worry, in two days he's going to be your slave forever." Kazimir prodded with a wicked smile playing on his lips.

"Take good care of our best friend," Leo said with a cheeky grin.

"Same goes for you too," She smiled and jerked an eyebrow. "Talking about her, why is she not out yet?" she said and look towards the trial room. "Anna, what's taking you so long?"

"I'm almost done," Anna shouted from the trial room. After some seconds, she walked out from the trial room. She let her long dark hair loose covering her half-naked back. She smiled sheepishly and nervously walked towards them.

They all looked at her in utter amazement and smile sincerely at her.

"Such a beauty," Kazimir gasped before glancing towards Leo whose eyes were glued at Anna.

"Bless my eyes, you look so amazing," Emma squealed and strolled towards her and gazed at her from head to toe.

"I knew you'd look stunning," Maria said and stood in front of her. "All you need to do is—" and she reaches for her hair to put it into a bun, Anna gasped in alarm when the cool breeze felt in her naked back. "—bun your hair. I'll let the stylist do a unique bun for you."

"No, I feel naked. I'll let my hair loose." Anna said as she wrapped her arms onto over her owns shoulder.

"Men are men," Joanna voiced when she noticed the three of them staring at Anna with wide eyes open. Maria quickly let her hair falls and covered the naked part.

"I'm going to change," Anna said shyly before running into the trial room and their eyes followed her. Then, Maria, Joanna and Emma turned to face the boys, crossed their arms over their chest and gave them a pointed looked.

Kazimir and Gideon sighed in awkwardness after looking away and smiled sheepishly glancing at the girls. Leo wore a straight face before strolling towards the trial room for changing. But instead of going to the right trial room, he entered into the left trial room where Anna was in.

Anna was midway untying the lace around her neck when Leo appeared in the mirror reflection. She gasped out loud and turned back to see him.

"What are you doing here?" She asked in alarmed. Leo stared seconds longer on her naked back through the reflection and sucked a deep breath and shaking off whatever thought was going on inside his head. He then looked away to the other side and cleared his throat awkwardly before looking at her.

"Are you comfortable with the dress?" his question surprised her and she looked at him with an amused smile.

"A little bit," She said.

"I can talk to Maria and change your dress." He said softly.

"No, it's okay," Anna chuckled at him. "Maria designed it especially for me, I don't wanna upset her. I can manage it for a day," she said with a smile.

"You're so cute and innocent," Leo chuckled softly and placed a soft kiss on her forehead. "By the way, did I say that you look amazingly beautiful?" he grinned widely with teasing brows.

"Leo," Kazimir voice caught their attention from the outside. "I know you are horny right now but remember, this is a public service," He teased.

"What will I do with his dirty mind and talks?" Leo rolled his eyes over making Anna laugh at him.

"Change up and let's get out of here," he said softly before going out of the trial room. And as he made out of the trial room, he was surrounded by his friends who were giving him a pointed-teasing look. He simply rolled his eyes over and strolled inside the right trial room, ignoring them.

Sabrina, along with her men, paid a visit to the Bolton's. She and her men were led to a room where the Don of Bolton's were waiting for them.

"I thought the Sylvester's went to extinction, haven't heard anything about you since the past five years." Bennet mocked looking at her.

"You're either brave enough or stupid enough to come here on your own," Brent smirked at her.

"An enemy of an enemy is a friend." Sabrina phrased.

"What do you want?" Bennet asked.

"I can make things easier for you." She answered looking at Tatiana who was standing at one corner.

"Like!" Tatiana held her chin up and pressed.

"Like disappearing that girl from his life," Sabrina jerked an eyebrow, making Tatiana look at her in expectant. "We want that Harondale girl alive. And we are going to avenge by killing her slowly and slowly." She explained. "Once we take out the girl, you can have Leonardo De Luca." She added with a smirked. "All for your own."

Tatiana wore a stoic expression and strolled towards her. "I guess we're gonna be close friends soon," she extended her hand and smiled devilishly.

"Soon," Sabrina smirked at her before shaking her hand.

Leo and Anna spent their day in Anna's room, doing cute little things like couples do and were having their moment before they decided to walk their evening by the beach. They walked together hand in hand by the beach enjoying the sunset. They were happily having the moments of their love.

Leo wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer, staring tenderly into her loving eyes. Then he reached his hand and gently shoved her hair away from her face that was upon her beautiful face. He cupped her cheek and pulled her into a kiss. Anna snaked her arms around his neck and stood on her tiptoe and kissed him back passionately. Then she pulled away and gave him a slyly look before taking steps back from him.

"What're you doing, Anna?" he asked as he suspiciously narrowed his eyes at her and strolled cautiously and slowly towards her. Anna gave him a pointed look and raised her fisted hand and showed him.

"Stone!" she said and took a step backwards.

"Not this game again!" Leo stopped in his track and rolled his eyes over before sighing in amusement.

"Stay where you are, Leo. When I say water, come and get me." She shouted at him. She was now a distance away from him.

"I'm not playing this game. This is very childish." He said.

"Water!" Anna shouted and started running away from him. Leo didn't wanna play but his body responded to the game like always.

"You can run, you can hide but you can't escape from me," Leo shouted and chased after her. "I'm coming to get you, honey," he grinned widely. Anna screamed a burst of laughter when Leo was about to reach her. She squealed and ran faster but Leo was faster than her. He wrapped his arms around her stomach and lifted her up from the ground and spins her around. But when Leo strolled near the water, Anna's eyes went wide in alarmed.

"No, Leo. Not the water again," She screamed and gave him a pleaded look.

"Where's the fun if we don't get wet while we are at the beach!" Leo reiterated his words from five years back and grinned at her cheekily. He shifted her into his arms and ran towards the water.

"Here we go!" Leo shouted cheerfully while Anna screamed and closed her eyes tightly. They were now inside the water, all wet from head to toe.

"You'll pay for this," Anna said playfully and pushed him to which lose his stand and fall back into the water. Anna was satisfied and laughed at him. Leo stayed half under the water and contently stared up at her as she laughed at him adorably.

Leo stood up from the water and splashed the water at her. Anna squealed a scream before splashing the water back at him. And they started to splash water at each other, bringing back their old lovely moments.
