"Long time no see, Anastasia. I've been waiting to get you these past years but your brothers are too protective of you. And now you're finally far from home, I've come to take you to my father." Sabrina hissed beside her ear.

"I see you have given up the combat. Too afraid to face off that you tried to kill me behind my back five years ago," Anna said under her gritted teeth.

"I didn't come for you on that day. I came for Vernon, your brother." Sabrina said. "Unluckily I missed the target, I was aiming for his head, you know," she added as she bare-teethed behind her. "And for the moment, I can't take the risk so I'm taking you to my father now. We have waited long enough to avenge my Zia's death."

"Now be a good girl and come with me." Sabrina led her to the other side and move away. Anna silently went with her, thinking for an escape inside her head. She glanced around only to see Sylvester's men lurking around, keeping eyes at them. She knew that if she does anything, she'll be shot immediately.

Leo angrily marched towards the jeep and kick hard on its tyre. Then soon he got a call from Kazimir.

"Yes," he answered over the phone.

"Where are you? You okay?"

"I'm alright,"

"Stay low, Sylvester's men are here." Kazimir alerted him. Leo cursed under his breath and immediately ran back to where Anna was, only to see her missing. He glanced around but there was no sign of her.

"Anna's missing. Sylvester's must have got her. I'm going to look for her," He scurried and cut the call. He rushed around in all direction looking around for Anna but there was no sign of her. Soon Kazimir came running and joined him.

"I can't see her anywhere." Kazimir panted as he glanced around.

"I shouldn't have left her," Leo ran his hand through his hair in exasperation.

Anna glanced around and counted the men. They were six of them spreading in some distance. If she's been taken held captive, they will get to her brothers and kill them. But she will never let that happen, so she decided to take the risk and escape no matter what. She thought harder how to remove the gun place behind her. If she unarmed her, she can easily find ways to escape. And as if luck was on her side, a man appeared running all of the sudden from a turning and stumbled upon them, making all three of them fall on the ground. Taking this advantage, Anna quickly reached for the gun and ran immediately but soon Sylvester's men shoot towards her but it was all missed. At the sound of the gun fires, people started to scream and ran for their life. She hides at one corner against the wall and decided to hunt the men down one by one. She checked the gun and it was fully loaded. She was now fully in a mafia mode.

She peeked through and saw two men standing side by side, looking for her and guns at ready to shoot at once. One man moves to the other side while the other one came toward her way and as the man was at the edge to reach her, she quickly kicked at his hand and unarmed him. She punched him harder and the man falls back, hitting his back head against the wall and fell unconscious on the ground. The other man came running but before he could raise his gun and shoot her, she shot him on his hand that was carrying the gun and unarmed him. She reached for him and punched him harder and tossed him to the wall beside them.

Two men appeared in front of her and shoot at her, Anna quickly dodged away and ran, the men chased after her, shooting at her but soon their bullets went off and they were unarmed. Anna kept running and came in the middle of the market but the market was all empty. She glanced around only to find some people injured on the ground. She has to save herself but seeing the people injured on the ground, she couldn't help but go to them. And as she was about to go to the people, four men appeared out of nowhere and surrounded her but they were all unarmed. Their guns were out from the careless shooting.

"Get her," One of the men growled glaring at her. Two men charge at her but then she fought them. The first attacker threw a punch at her but she hooked down and kicked him hard at his balls. The man bent down, clutching on his balls and she threw another kick on his chin, making him straightened up and fall backwards. And without wasting a second she went for the second one and punched him hard to the ground.

But then she was caught off guard when the third man appeared and punched her. She fell halfway before straightening up and glaring at the man. And as the man was about to throw her another attack, he was shot at his back and fell dead. Anna got startled and closed her eyes involuntarily.

"Anna, you okay?" She opened her eyes at the familiar voice and saw Leo and Kazimir with their guns. Kazimir's gun was hot in his hand while Leo's gun was pointed to the one man left. Leo gestured Kazimir to take on him as he held his gun down and moved towards Anna. He hugged her gently and ducked her head under his chest.

"Kill him," Leo said over his shoulder and right then, Anna jerked at the sound of the bullet and hugged him tightly. "You're still the same." He muttered under his breath softly.

"We have to get out of here before the police come." Leo nodded at him and led Anna out of the place.

Gideon and the others waited for their return in the jeep. Maria was getting worried about Anna with every second's passing, she impatiently walked back and forth as they waited for them to return.

"They're here," Gideon said taking sight of them. Maria sigh in relieved and ran towards her and hugged her.

"Thank god, you're fine, Ann."

"Now that everyone is here, let's get going," Gideon said cheerfully trying to calm the situation. And also Joanna and Emma were unaware of the situation.

Once they made it to the hotel, Anna quickly got off the jeep and scurried in.

"Girls, I'll see you at the party tonight," Maria pretended to be cheerful and wave at Joanna and Emma before following Anna.

Anna got inside her room and sat down heavily on the bed and sighed deeply.

"Anna, you alright?" Maria entered her room and stood in front of her. She knelt down to her level and hugged her tightly. "I was very worried about you," she said, her voice nearly about to cry.

"Stupid!" Anna chuckled and pulled away. "I'm totally fine. I'm just tired of all the fighting." She said as she stretched her right arm back and forth.

"You're injured," Maria cried on noticing her dry blood on her corner lips.

"It's nothing, I'm fine."

"No, you're not," Leo retorted as he entered inside with a first aid box on his hand. Gideon and Kazimir followed him behind. "May I?" Leo uttered and gestured Maria to move aside. She straightened up from his position and went beside Gideon.

Leo took out some cotton and dipped it in water. And as he was about to reach his hand for her injured lips, Anna stopped him midway.

"I'm fine, you don't need to take the trouble." She said looking away from him and stood up from her place. Leo stood up quickly and stopped her by her hand when she was about to move away.

"Leave us," Leo said over his shoulder.

"What are you going to do?" Maria demanded.

"C'mon honey, let's go. They'll be fine." Gideon said and dragged her out of the room.

"Rest well, Anna." Kazimir said and turned towards Leo, "Don't be mad, Leo. Take care of her," He whispered at him before leaving the room.

"Sit down." He said softly but Anna didn't sit so. He took her by her shoulder and gently settled her down. Anna sat there silently not looking at him as she let him tend her cut. "From now on, I'm not letting you go off my sight, not even for once," he said staring at her.

Soon her eyes welled up and tears fell down her cheeks. "Stop it, Leo. Don't make it anymore harder for me."

Leo was done tending her wound and stood up from his place. "I've said it earlier, and I'll say it again, do not misunderstand," he said looking away from her. "I will not let anyone kill you because you are mine to kill. If you're going to die, I should be the one to kill you." He curved down to her level and said coldly. Then he straightened up and stared down at her. "Rest well, Anastasia," he said sharply before leaving the room.

As soon as he left the room, she let her tears fell down her cheeks and cried silently.

Leo entered his room and closed the door behind. He rested his head and back against the door, sighing deeply and closing his eyes.

"Thank god, you're fine." He whispered softly. Then he pulled away from the door and strolled into his bedroom and decided to shower.

After a shower, he came out from the bedroom and soon Kazimir entered inside wearing a moody expression and went and sat on the couch.

"You don't look good," Leo glanced at him and settled on the couch as well.

"They killed my newly appointed baiter," Kazimir said under gritted teeth.

"You're still after the drug dealers." Leo jerked an eyebrow amusedly.

"Wanna go out and have some fun," Kazimir suggested with a sly grin.

"Who is your target?" Leo asked.

"Andre Paisley,"

"He's Morgan's people." Leo rested his one leg on his knee and leaned against the couch.

"He has been doing illegal business, kidnapping girls and trafficking them," Kazimir informed.

"Let's go and have some fun," Leo said and stood up from his place.

"Oh, hell yeah!" Kazimir jumped from his place and followed him back.

Anna didn't know when she fell asleep under her cry. She woke up feeling heavy in her eyes and was burning as she blinked. She curled off from her bed and strolled towards the bathroom.

After the warm shower, she felt fresh and lively. And as she was drying her hair with her towel, there was a soft knock on her door. She suddenly felt alarmed and strolled silently towards it. After the incident happened earlier, she couldn't take the risk, Sabrina could be anywhere. Though Anna's under securities, she knows Sabrina well now, she can just walk pass by without even noticing. So she has to be on guard all the time.

Anna peeked through the door hole and saw Maria. She opened the door and smiled at her.

"Hi, come in," she said and turn away.

"How are you feeling now?" Maria entered and scurried behind her.

"I'm totally fine, Maria," Anna said as she rolled her eyes in amused.

"We're having a party now, do you wanna join?" Maria said looking at her expectantly.

"You mean bikini's party," Anna corrected her.

"You're right!" Maria gave her a sly grin. "So you coming!"

"Only if I don't wear one." Anna jerked an eyebrow.

"Of course, come now we're late for the party," Maria squealed and dragged her along with her. And as they reached the party spot, Maria quickly pulled off her dress and threw it to the side.

"Your bikini's cute," Anna chuckled at her looking at her pink bikini.

"Anna, Maria," Joanna and Emma waved at them and strolled towards them. They were on bikinis of red and green colours.

"C'mon Anna, take off your clothes," Joanna teased making Anna give her a pointed look in amusement. In the middle of their talkies, Gideon and his boys came with their boxers and joined the party.

"I thought it was a spinster's bikini's party." Anna crossed her arms over her chest and darted between her friends, but they simply gave her a sly smile.

"The fun is having hot and sexy boys around," Joanna said as she shamelessly glances at the boys.

"You're unbelievable, Joanna," Anna jabbed on her shoulder gently by her shoulder and chuckled at her.

"Hey, ladies," Gideon came and joined them.

"Looking good, honey," Maria teased staring at his tight boxer while the rest of them laughed at him.

"You're no less," he said and gives her a soft peck on her lips.

"Where are Leo and Kazimir?" Maria asked.

"They got some works so they had to go out," Gideon answered, making Anna creased her brows and lost in her thought.

Anna sat on one spot the whole party and watched her friends drinking and dancing, who was enjoying the moment of their life. She too was enjoying her peace of mind by watching them.

The party was almost over; there were few couples around, having their moment. Emma and Joanna have left a while ago with their newly made boyfriends while Gideon and Maria stayed with Anna.

"I think I'll head back too," Anna said and stood up from her place.

"Alright, see you tomorrow, Ann, Goodnight, love." Maria wished her adorably in her drunkard state.

"Goodnight," Anna chuckled at her and turned towards Gideon, "Please take care of her," she said and Gideon nodded at her.

"Goodnight, Anna."

"Goodnight, Gideon," She smiled at him before turning on her heels and walking away.

Anna made her way inside the hotel and walked in through the hallway. And as she was about to make a turn and go towards the elevator, her eyes caught Leo and Kazimir entering in from the main entrance. Leo was clutching his one hand over his right abdomen. She narrowed her eyes at them and noticed bruises on their faces and Leo's white shirt was stained with blood under his black suit. Worries surfaced in her face as she quickly strolled towards them. Kazimir took notice of Anna walking towards them and jabbed at Leo's arm, gesturing him to look forward. Leo looked forward and saw Anna standing two steps away from them. He looked away and moved forward only to be stopped by Anna. They were now less than a step away from each other.

Anna reached for his hand and slowly removed it from his abdomen. Anna gasped out loud on seeing the bloody cut and looked up to him in a worried expression.

"I'll leave you two, goodnight," Kazimir said sheepishly as he took some steps backwards.

"Where are you going?" Anna's angry voice stopped him and he cringed down. "You've earned some bruises too, you need to tend it." She said quietly.

"Ah! Don't worry, I'll let me girls do it." Kazimir said and glanced a knowing look at Leo before leaving. Anna turned to face him and took him by his right hand, dragging him along with her while Leo silently walked behind her.

Anna took him to his room and placed him on his bed. She took out the first aid box from the drawer beside the bed and look at him.

"Take off your shirt," she said looking away. Leo did as he was told.

Anna sucked a shaky breath when she saw the deep cut and was nearly about to cry. She quickly masked her emotion away and cleaned his wound.

"Lean down, you need stitches," Anna said quietly. Leo leaned his back against the headrest and stared at her while she cleaned his wound and did the stitches.

Anna tilted her head up and caught him staring. Leo quickly looked away from him. She sighed and sat beside him.

"Look at me," She said softly making Leo look at her. Then she continued to tend the bruises on his face. After she was done tending, she placed the box on the table and stood up from the bed, "Take care," she said and turn away on her heels.

Anna made inside her room and laid down on her bed, rubbing her chest as she tries to calm herself down. She closed her eyes and thought about him inside her head before sleep took over her.

The loud sound of thunderstorms startled up Anna from her sleep in the middle of the night. She opened her eyes slowly and looked outside through the window. It was raining heavily outside. She quickly straightened up from her bed and read the time on her nightstand. It was 2:00 am. Without wasting a second, she worriedly got off from her bed and strolled towards the door. Without knocking on Leo's door, she entered directly and strolled towards his bedroom. And as she entered his room, she saw him coughing and was shivering in cold.

Anna ran towards him and pulled the blanket upon him.

"Anna, what are you doing here?" Leo asked under his stuttering teeth.

"I was worried about you," Anna said worriedly and took out some blankets from the cupboard and covered upon him. She placed her hand on his forehead and luckily he has no fever but his body was so cold and he was shivering restlessly. So she decided to give him body heat. She took off her shirt and kept it to the side and curled up on his bed.

"What are you doing, Anna?" Leo asked, his body still shivering.

"I'm giving you body heat." She said and went underneath the blankets. She then stretched her arms and hugged him tightly but taking care that she doesn't press on his wounds. Leo felt the warm over his body and pulled her closer to him. After some minutes passed, Leo stopped shivering and fell into sleep. 

"You often fall sick when it rains, you're still the same as well." She whispered softly staring at his sleeping face. She was still wrapped between his arms, she stayed silently before sleep overtook upon her.
