Naruto was looking down the minute Iruka left the classroom, his destination was for certainty was heading straight to the Hokage to deal with Naruto's situation... the said blond stood up before Sasuke grabbed ahold of his arm and gave him a look. The wince made him loosen his hold and his look softened. "What happened?" The obvious question came and the blond looked up at him and frowned. "Why do you care..." He muttered making the Uchiha bristle at the comment.

"Well, you looked fine before," Sasuke muttered making him roll his eyes as the rest of the class seemed to walk out fairly quickly, ignoring the two... "You don't look like you should be getting this treatment." Naruto scoffed, "That's an understatement." Sasuke barely heard it but smirked slightly and grabbed the boys hand and pulled him along. "Come on." Naruto pulled his hand away in a small whimper making the boy look back and saw a bandage come loose and he saw the red burns on the hand.

"S-Sorry..." Sasuke muttered before he looked over and saw that on the other hand, his pinky wasn't wrapped... he wrapped his around the blonds and smiled sheepishly. "I'll show you something." The Uchiha stated as the blond let himself be pulled his eye was on the pinky that was holding his and he felt his heart flutter in confusion...

After walking out of the academy, he assumed he was going to be pulled towards the Uchiha clan compound, but was surprised to see that he was getting pulled in a whole other direction, close to where Naruto trained in the wooded area. A small clearing opened up and Naruto couldn't help that his eye was shining so brightly. "Wow." He whispered as Sasuke gave a small smile at his look, knowing the effect he got was what he wanted.

Naruto stared at the clearing in front of him, a few flowers were scattered across it and the wind started to blow making some of the leaves rustle and fly, Naruto let go of Sasuke's pinky and ran towards it out of instinct and jumped around, a burst of laughter boomed from him making Sasuke pause and gave the blond a look... he hadn't seen the boy being so joyous, even laugh... it was defiantly a sight to see. "Sasuke!" The shout made him void all his thoughts and saw the blond waving him over where Naruto was twirling around, the wind seemingly flowing with him.

The smile on his face gave a small tug upwards as if it was growing, the blond was defiantly having fun. That was when the blond twirled before falling on the grass and sighed in content, he loved looking up at the clouds. Sasuke stood next to him and the blond smiled brightly and sat up quickly. "This place is amazing! When did you find this?" Naruto said looking at him as he sat down next to him in the grass. "About a month ago." He nodded thoughtfully before he gazed at a flower that flowed in the wind, "Woah." He whispered and looked down at it. An orange Lilly lay against his hand.

The flower looked as if it was painted as if flames were meant to come out of it. Naruto could only stare at it in awe. "Those marks... It's a Fire Lily!"  Sasuke looked at it in confusion and looked around to see if there were any others. "Fire Lily?" He asked curiously making Naruto look up and nod. "It's supposed to be really rare! but I guess we got really lucky cause they usually on grow in fire country!" Naruto said before he hummed as he looked at it. "They have some type of medical purpose, I just can't remember..." Naruto in a reflex reached for his bag that wasn't there and frowned. "Oh... Right..." He muttered sadly.

Sasuke saw the look and scooted closer to him. "What do you need?" He asked curiously making him look over. "Do you have a book over herbs? They usually give us all the books we would need to know, including herbs and to see which are poisonous or not!" He stated, pointing his finger up making Sasuke rummage through his bag and pulled out the one he was talking about and smiled brightly. Slowly looking through the pages with Sasuke giving the look over before pausing on a page.

"Fire Lily! It can be used for two purposes, by itself it can boost the survival rates of heavily wounded ninja, however, if mixed with any type of poisonous plant..." Naruto paused and grimaced. "The concoction would kill five times as quickly." Sasuke looked down at the singular flower in a small amount of awe. "We should make a garden! Maybe It'll make more! It'll be good to have some." Sasuke suggested making Naruto look up with a small smile. "I always liked looking and learning about flowers..." He whispered and then looked around the clearing. "I don't really have a home to garden at anymore..." 

A moment of silence washed over them as a breeze blew Naruto's hair in the way, his bangs there in front of his eyes and he brushed it aside before hearing a shout. "Naruto!" The shout made him turn around and saw Iruka looking around through some foliage. The blond quickly got up ran over quickly. "Sensei!" He said making the brown-haired chunin jump slightly. "Ahh, there you are." The chunin stated before pulling out some keys from his pocket. "Hokage-Sama heard, he said he didn't want you to deal with that again so he gave you a house on the outskirts of the village." He pointed towards a direction giving details and directions.

"Thank you Sensei." Naruto smiled brightly and Iruka paused at the look, it looked as if he was seeing a complete one-eighty of the Naruto he saw an hour before. Naruto ran back into the opening where Iruka saw another one of his quieter students Sasuke smiling at him. He walked away knowing the two would bring each other out of their shells.

Naruto looked at the piece of paper in his hands provided by Iruka and hummed. "I think this is it Sasuke," Naruto muttered and looked up at the building. Why was it so big? Sasuke looked at it with questionable eyes as well. "So the Hokage just gave this to you?" The question on his mind spilled out making him smile and nod. "Yeah! Gramps is always looking out for me since I don't have any parents." Naruto said to happily for Sasuke to let it sink in. "Why not be in the orphanage?" He asked making the blond smile sadly. "Well, I was kicked out... I think they wanted me out for a long while and waited for me to mess up." 

Sasuke frowned, opening his mouth to ask another question but Naruto pulled him along via his pinky and walked up to the door. "This is great though! We can make a garden here!" Naruto said happily making the Uchiha smile ever so slightly and nodded his head. As they walked in front of the door, Sasuke saw the front of the house and nodded to himself, this would be a decent area. Naruto fumbled the keys for a moment before unlocking the door and opened it.

Naruto gave it a look before smiling at Sasuke who was looking inside briefly, Naruto hugged the boy, instantly surprising him. "Thank you..." The Uchiha frowned in confusion. "For what?" He asked as Naruto pulled away with a small cough and laughed at the thought. "Ah, It's nothing... I'll see if I can get the garden ready... Goodbye, Sasuke." He whispered and slowly closed the door. He sighed slightly as he did and he slid down the door briefly... "Thank you for being my friend? Am I even his friend..." Naruto whispered sadly before he stood up and looked around the house, getting the feel for it... what surprised him was a study... lots of bookcases but not a whole lot of books.

He grabbed one of the few off the shelf and gave it an odd look... looking at some of the others, he noticed a few were the same as the Academy books, he made sure to thank gramps for getting him new ones... He grabbed the book that was the exact same as the one he was reading with Sasuke and flipped through it slowly. His eyes slowly traced over the Fire Lily's properties and hummed in thought... "If I have a garden, should I learn to be a medical ninja?" He asked to himself curiously and looked towards the desk in his study and smiled to himself.

He opened a drawer from the desk and paused slightly, he rummaged in it before pulling out a brush and stared at in awe. "A Caligrapher's brush." He muttered before looking in the drawer for something else before pulling out a brush and a small looking circular mold and gave it a look and nodded to himself. This was defiantly a caligrapher's kit... He had always heard of these from many sources, even some from the recent classes he had with Iruka... but never seen one before... He always saw everyone use pencils so he knew for a fact this could be fairly old.

He hummed as he looked at it before looking down in the drawer and saw stacks and stacks of papers. The first few on the top though had example kanji... Was this for sealing? His mind wandered to that and smiled sheepishly. "I really have my work cut out for me..." He muttered before he slowly placed the paper down on the desk and another in front of that one with the Caligraphy kit next to it before humming in thought. "The library might have something over sealing and medical ninjutsu... Or should I ask gramps?" He sighed, the first idea is a low possibility... but he didn't want to burden himself with the Hokage again.

He looked at his hands and sighed... "One more... just this once." He's stood up and got to the front door and paused, looking backward and whispering... "I'm off."

Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Sandaime Hokage and titled Professor, for knowing many things of the ninja world, going through the first and only Ninja wars. He was a wise man who had much experience with almost anything... and right now he was signing off fully a house he owned to one Naruto Uzumaki, and making a law-abiding that if this home is destroyed, the wrath of the Sandaime Hokage would be out for them.

His mind stayed on the boy for a good ten minutes, he was a quiet child that expressed his eagerness to be a ninja early in his life... Of course, that mostly wasn't surprising. A kid shunned for something he wasn't aware of would make him quiet and most kids want to be a ninja, but what got him was what he told him one day... "I want to find peace in this world." Hiruzen hummed to himself, his student had said something similar... the possibility of ending all hatred of this world...

A knock snapped him out of his muses and shook his head. "Come in," Hiruzen said, not expecting anyone so his curiosity was high. A small smile appeared as he saw a familiar mop of blond hair walking in and he got up with a small amount of worry seeing his bandages. He did hear from Iruka that he had burn marks all over, but to the extent was a little bit understated.

"Hi, Gramps!" Naruto said happily before pausing and looked up to see an Anbu on the ceiling, though it was hard to see him in the corner of the ceiling. The dogged mask Anbu tensed briefly before Naruto shook his head, thinking the Hokage would have his own guards. "My boy, what can I do for you? I hope the house is fine for you?" The old Kage asked making him smile brightly and nod. "Of course! I really want to start a garden! Me and my friend found a Fire Lily! Can you believe it, gramps!" He said with a small giggle, his little boyish made him smile briefly but then his interest peaked at hearing about the flower.

"Oh? A Fire Lily? How unusual."  Naruto nodded his head and sat down on the chair, his lone eye still glancing up at the Anbu. "I wanted to ask you a few things cause I didn't know if the library would let me check anything out and if it even had it!" Naruto said with a small sigh before smiling brightly. "Because I want to garden, I think I should learn medical ninjutsu! Since I want to grow Fire Lily's especially!" Hiruzen's eyebrows raised drastically before the boy continued. "I also found a calligraphy kit in the study! So I really wanna study seals as well." His mutter paused before he smiled at the Hokage.

"I didn't want to bother you anymore but I didn't hear too much about medical ninja's and Seal masters from the academy so I wasn't expecting much from the library... I was going to ask if you had anything I could borrow." Naruto said shyly, his quiet side slowly coming back in a nervous state making Hiruzen smile and slowly grabbed a portrait from his desk. "Come here Naruto-Kun." Naruto blinked briefly before slowly scampering out of the chair and behind the desk to see what he had to show.

In the portrait was two young teens in the picture, one a girl with blond hair and brown eyes, the other was a boy with long white hair with black eyes. "These are my two students, Jiraiya, and Tsunade." Naruto nodded his head curiously before looking back up at him. "You came to the right place because Jiraiya is our seal master and Tsunade is claimed to be the best medical ninja in the world." Naruto looked at them in awe and smiled brightly, "Really?" His eyes were shining now in eagerness. 

"Would they be able to help me?" He asked, tilting his head with a look of innocence on his face. "Sadly, Jiraiya needs to be where he is at, and Tsunade is... unavailable for a while." Hiruzen had a momentary pause before smiling at the blond who seemed to frown but nod in understanding. "However, as I said I did train them, I can give you some of my books I have over the basics of Medical and Seal knowledge when you are sure you have these down you can come back to me and I'll give you the next step. How's that?" 

Naruto smiled brightly and nodded his head quickly. "Yes!" Hiruzen smiled and ruffled his head before slowly getting up. "I'll be back with those books Naruto-Kun, you may stay here until then." He smiled and gave a small bow before slowly sitting back down on the chair and looked around... Something made it aware though that a few of the Anbu in the room left, but one stayed... "Dog-san?" He asked curiously and he felt the chakra fluctuate and then the dog masked Anbu jumped down and gave a small. "How did you know?" Curiosity etching the voice.

"I sensed you! I usually sense Anbu all around, sometimes following me... and sometimes jumping from rooftops." He said as he looked at his hands briefly making the Anbu hum. "That is certainly rare." The blond looked up curiously. "Sensors are very rare in the world, and you sensed me without even trying to, that is a very rare Sensor ability." Dog stated making him nod in understanding.

The small interactions between Anbu and the blond slowed before after a while, Hiruzen walked back in with a scroll. Hiruzen gave a small look to the Anbu who seemed to be lounging about and he got a sign that he would tell him later. "Here you are Naruto-Kun." The blue-eyed boy smiled and grabbed it, knowing all about storage scrolls. "Thank you, gramps! I'm sorry I've been such a bother though." He said looking ashamed for a moment making the old Kage ruffle his head. "That's what I'll do for my surrogate grandson." Naruto smiled warmly at that and bowed his head before walking out the door.

As he did he looked at the scroll with a smile, his eyes shining in determination. "Let's see how hard this is."
