' THE MOMENT HAD
FINALLY COME '
•
EVERYONE ELSE IN THE ROOM FELT THAT THEY WERE INTRUDING ON THE SIBLINGS' MOMENT, it was one of love and meant for no other witnesses. The atmosphere was warm and sweet, almost like a cabin in a winter forest, and no matter how much everyone wanted to disappear and leave the two in their moment, they simply found themselves unable too.
The smiles Wilfred and Rebekah wore were all teeth, but no bite, something not many had witnessed during their times on earth. So while Damon, the blue eyed vampire, was confused and feeling slightly intrusive; Finn ( no matter how much he would later deny it ), Elijah and Kol basked in the hope that their family could be whole again — if only for a little while.
As everyone watching in on the two siblings were lost in thought, said siblings were trying to figure out why they, along with their family, were released from the damned coffins all of them had been encased in.
"Do you know why we have been released from our vampiric slumber?" Wilfred asked, worried with a small frown on his face. He didn't like to be left in the dark about things ( however ironic that might be ) and tried to change if he was as soon as possible.
"No, no I don't. But I bet it has to do with our manipulative, arse of a brother..." Rebekah trailed off, looking to the other four people in the room. "Where is Klaus?"
The four all looked up from the floor and made eye contact with the two's frighteningly similar blue eyes. Finn and Kol shook their heads, still feeling off from being stuck in a coffin for more than a century, but Elijah and Damon — whom Wolfie had no idea the identity of — stayed silent.
"Well? We haven't got all day and if you won't tell us, we'll find him on our own." It was all Rebekah said before Wilfred felt someone grab his arm and drag him from where he stood originally. The male vampire followed, knowing it was better to listen to his sister than argue; he pull still feel a slight sting in his neck from when in 1922, his sister had jabbed him in the throat for not accompanying her on a stroll.
Before the two left the room, Elijah calmly called back to them, "Wait, Rebekah. We have a reason for not telling you yet."
"And what is this reason?" The only female vampire in the room questioned, a frown on her face as her pretty blue eyes glared in the direction of her most 'noble' brother.
Rebekah was becoming tired of all this chatter and wanted to seek out Klaus in retribution for what he did to her and her family. All this mess had started because of the Original Hybrid, and what made it worse, was that he didn't even acknowledge it as his fault, simply choosing to blame his siblings' false loyalty.
"Everything will be explained, if only you'd give us the time to do it."
The blonde stomped her foot in frustration, growing more overtly angry with her older brother. "Do not give me sass, 'Lijah. I'm angry — no, that's too light of a word. I'm bloody pissed and could just about throw you through that wall right now."
"I can tell you she is making no attempt at a joke, for as we speak my hand is becoming increasingly numb," Wilfred said with a wince, looking down at the aforementioned appendage. He was sure it would bruise; even if the discolouration to his skin would heal and disappear in a manner of seconds, he still didn't like the feeling of his hand being crushed.
Rebekah released his hand with a small 'sorry' before positioning her glare on the rest of the people in the room.
Am I lucky I'm not them, Wilfred thought, wincing as the colour of his skin evened out, like nothing had ever happened.
Elijah soon explained what was to happen. He used that calm voice like always, with a straight back and polite smile; like it was a meeting of business, and not a discussion of how they would ruin their brother for the terror he had brought unto them.
"There shall be no further discussion."
And under the obvious dismissal from Elijah, the most noble Mikaelson and blue eyed vampire left the room, one after the other, to begin what had already started.

IT HAD ALL BEEN FINE. Great, even. They were ready to leave their brother, after causing him pain with the very daggers he used to put them to rest. Wilfred felt high, like he could soar above the clouds he looked up to for so long, and it was amazing. He'd never used drugs, but by what others said it was like, if he didn't know any better he'd have thought he was.
Klaus was a burden to them all, always a shadow looming over their heads, ready to swoop down and collect what he rightfully thought was his; revenge. Revenge for their abandoning of him. Revenge for living the lives he wanted. Revenge for not being born bastards as he had. Many people said revenge was sweet, but for Klaus, it only left a bitter taste in his mouth.
And that bitter taste came in the form of Esther Mikaelson, mother of the six siblings destined to roam the earth forever.
"No, my son. I am here to forgive you for what you have done. I want us to be a family again," she said with such clarity they all knew there was no room for arguing.
Wilfred had never felt more happy and devastated at the same time.
