Friction
Jimmy sat in the waiting area his heads phones slotted over his head, bobbing his head slowly to the beat. Every now and then he'd look up at the door, when he saw it open or close, in anticipation for Tiffany. They'd brought Cheddar in and stayed with him for a while, until she could get an appointment. Now Jimmy was sat waiting for her to come back out. He did, however, feel slightly guilty for leaving the rest of the group all in his car, when they thought him and Tiff were looking after Cheddar, when they really weren't.
Jimmy glanced down at his cracked watch on his wrist, willing Tiffaney to come out quicker. He didn't understand why it had taken so long for a simple test to she if she was pregnant or not. IT then dawned on him, what if she was pregnant and that's why it was taking so long for her to come back out?
Jimmy needn't think about it any longer as the next time he looked up, Tiffany stood in front of him. He jolted upright as if he had just been struck with lightning, he stood up so he was opposite her and waited for her to break the silence that had fallen between them.
''I'm not,'' she didn't need to say the next word as Jimmy had already pulled her against him. Tiffany was happy, but the tears falling down her face told a different story. She felt as if she hadn't realised she'd wanted a baby till it was gone.
''Hey don't cry. When you get pregnant for real, you'll forget about this because it will be with someone you wanted to be with,'' Jimmy spoke softly to her and she nodded slowly, while pulling away from him.
''We should get going, the guys are probably itching to know how Cheddar is. I think we've kept them waiting long enough,'' Jimmy nodded in agreement, wrapping his arm around her shoulder to guide her out of the hospital.

Since the car was near enough full even without Cheddar, Tiffany ended up squashed in the drivers seat next to Jimmy.
''The doctor said he hit an artery, but he'll be okay,'' Jimmy explained, reassuring all those in the car, after Future joined them of course, form where ever he had been.
''That's good, man,'' Wink replied, although he seemed more happy about not being blamed for the situation, rather than Cheddars actual well being.
'' Where were you?'' Sol asked, his question directed towards Future, referring to where he'd been just before Tiffany and Jimmy came out of the hospital.
''Praying. Is he all right?'' Tiffany nodded and she watched him breath a huge sigh in relief.
''Let's go, man,'' Jimmy spoke up, he wanted to get home and away from the hospital.
''Wink told us how he got in with Roy Darucher,'' Sol pipped up, causing Jimmy to falter at turning the key in the ignition.
''That shit's hot, man,'' Iz chipped in, causing a grin to rise on Winks face.
''Why are you listening to this clown?'' Future snapped, turning around in his seat the face the three in the back. Tiffany gulped, a bad feeling coming over her, the feeling being that some sort of argument or fight was going to happen. She hopped that it wouldn't turn into a fight, they'd had far to many of them during the past few days.
''What?'' Wink called out, seemingly offended by Future's comment.
''You heard me. Clown,'' Future repeated standing his ground and Tiffany couldn't help but roll her eyes at his childness.
''Why you got to be like that? This is a good deal for him. It's for real,'' Wink explained defending himself.
''It's for real? Like the time you said your cousin worked for Dr. Dre?'' Tiffany remembered that, wink had bragged about it a couple of months ago, before it was found out his cousin was only about five years old.
''Or the time you were real tight... with the intern in Russell Simmons' office? Or how about...'' Wink cut Future off before he could finish his other accusations.
''Shut the fuck up!'' Wink screamed and Tiffany cringed at the shear volume of his voice,'' Why are you always giving me shit? Is it because I'm making moves? Or because your ass is stuck hosting battles for two years. You're a fucking loser.''
''Who are you calling,'' just as Future tried to launch himself at Wink, Jimmy's shout filled the car.
''Yo, chill! What the fuck? How can you fight about this shit now?''
''I know what you're trying to do to our group,'' Future accused.
''Suck a dick!'' Wink shot back and it obvious he'd said it to set Future off again.
''You little bitch,'' this time Future had managed to grab a hold of Wink and pull him closer towards him, his fist was raised, when Jimmy interjected again.
''Back down!'' He shouted, slamming his hands down on the steering wheel, the action making everyone jump, ''Cheddar's in the hospital and you fight about this?'' He shook his head, before then moving to upon the door and just as he got out Tiffany distinctively heard him mumble, ''So fucking stupid!''
''Forget this car, B,'' Tiffany rolled her eyes at Wink's blatantly obvious comment indicating he was trying to stay on Jimmy's good side.
''Just drop the act Wink,'' Tiffany mumbled towards him, causing his eyes to go wide. His hand moved to grab her arm, but she swerved away and ran to catch up with Jimmy.
''I'll give you a ride to work in the morning,'' Sol called after them, Rabbit lifted his hand in recognition before making his way to the closet bus top, Tiffany not far behind.
