I hear beeping in the other room, and what I realized was that I knew the person in that other room. It was Oliver.

Matthew walks in soon after that, and tells me the most devastating news. "Oliver, he is breathing. They are trying to get him back, but it's not working.

"He's gone  Officer!" I yell at him.

"No he's not Tyler! Don't give up. Remember what I told you? Hold on to those you love!"

"But I can't Matthew! I did love him, I DID. Key word, did! Just shut hell up already!"

"Tyler," he hesitates, "Calm down. It's not that big of a deal!"

"No Matthew, I won't! Leave, it's the best for you." I yell.

"Tyler, no, I am going to stay with you. If he dies, I'll comfort you. I. Love. Y-you!"

"You do?" I wonder.

"Yes, Tyler, I do. We could start a family!"

"No! Get away from me. I hate you. I do not like you. I love you!"

"Do you want to, you know, that?" he asks me.

"Sure! We'll have a family in no time!"

"Well, let's hangout hang out tonight. You'll be able to get out the hospital by then.By babe!"

"Bye!" I wave goodbye.

That night, my mom came to visit me, and Matthew came when she was getting ready to leave.

"Hello, Ms. Kingston!"

"Don't you see I'm talking to him?" she smirks.

"Well, being his boyfriend I came to visit him!"

"Ew, two fags in on room, I can't take it!"

My mother leaves, which actually makes me happy. Matthew walks over and kisses my forehead. "Come on, we're going home! But I have something to tell you."

"What is it?"

"I don't want to tell you though, I mean, you'd want to kill yourself again!"

"Look me in my eyes and tell me!"

"Olivers dead! He's gone Tyler. He died an hour ago. I didn't want to tell you now but I just did!"

I jump out of the bed. "Way to make my last day in the hospital the worst. Follow me home all you want, I won't talk.

"Tyler wait!"

Mm. The feeling of his lips makes me feel better. It had been so long since the last time I really loved someone, and the someone I did love was actually gone. I didn't fufill my duty of making Oliver's last days the best, and I feel so bad.

"Come on Tyler, let's go!"

After Matthew leaves, I go to my mom's room to get something. She was there but I didn't look at her. I found a note in the box I was looking for, and when I opened it, the tears started to roll in.

Dear Tyler,

        It's Oliver, and I just want to right to you because in 13 months I'll be dead, supposedly. Now I don't want you to cry or get enraged, I just want you to know that I never stopped thinking about you when you went to prison. I have loved you since the day we met, and that will never change. Remember me when I'm Gone Tyler, because it won't be long until it's you, who goes.

Oliver Garner

I crumble up the paper and throw it down the stairs. I grab it and take it to the trashcan. I make some coffee but before I go back upstairs, I feel a drift of air on my shoulder, and I know that it can from a human.

"Tyler!" the voice says behind me, "You thought I was gone, didn't you? Have you missed me? Oh I bet you have. I haven't missed you, and even if I did, you wouldn't care. You never care Tyler!"

I turn around, not knowing what to expect.
