Izuku was sitting in class, waiting for their heroics teacher to arrive.

  Loud footsteps echoed outside the door, and Endeavour strode inside.

  "Alright you pipsqueaks! Get your gear on and get to Gym Gamma! We're having battle training!" The flaming hero said, hands on his hips.

  Izuku grabbed his costume case and left through the door quickly. He could feel Endeavour's eyes watching him, Danger Sense thrumming quietly in the background. Izuku himself didn't know if Endeavour was a threat or not, so neither did Danger Sense.

  Izuku changed into his green jumpsuit quickly, pulling the green cowl over his head, and fixing the metal mouth guard into place. The ears were meant to look like All Might's hair, a homage to his dead predecessor, but they ended up making him look like a big green bunny in combat gear and big red boots with metal soles.

  Izuku was the first outside, joining Endeavour in an observation room. The hero was studying him carefully.

  Thankfully, the rest of the class arrived quickly after Izuku, and Endeavour started the lesson.

  "Alright you maggots! You may think you're all hot stuff with your flashy quirks, but I've got news for ya! You'll need real combat experience if you're going to make it as a hero! That's why we're here. You'll be put into teams, Hero squad and Villain squad! If I think you'll make a good hero, you'll be on the hero team! If you look like Blasty, you'll be on the Villain's side! I don't care if you have any objections! Bunny boy, hero team!" Endeavour bellowed.

  "Y-yes sir!" Izuku said, standing off to the right.

  Endeavour sorted them all into teams. There were four hero teams, and four villain teams. Izuku's team was comprised of himself, Hagakure, Jirou, Uraraka and Kirishima.

  "Midoriya team, you'll be facing Bakugo Team! You'll start at opposite ends of the city, then meet in the middle! You both have objectives, escape at the opposite end with your files! Only one hero or villain needs to escape with the files to let the whole team win! Understand you rats?" Endeavour barked.

  "Alright, I have a plan, if you want to hear it.." Izuku said.

  Kirishima, Uraraka and Jirou nodded. Hagakure waved her hands.

  "Here's my idea.."

  "Alright, get going you lowlifes!" Endeavour said through the speakers.

  Izuku and Hagakure's gloves and shoes were running down a side street, heading for the Villain's starting gate.

  There was a black envelope in Hagakure's gloves.

  Bakugo and Iida approached Izuku.

  "Greetings Heroes! I see your plan was to distract us with your teammates, and have Hagakure deliver the documents by remaining unseen!" Iida said.

  Izuku sighed.

  "Exactly right Iida. However, once I deal with you, there's nothing you can do to stop our plan." Izuku said.

  "Enough talk, let's fight!!" Bakugo screeched, blasting off towards the greenette.

  "Come at me Po." Izuku said with a grin.

  One for all, full cowling... 15 percent!

  Green lightning crackled around Izuku, and he swiftly dodged Bakugo's explosion. He grabbed the extended right arm and swung the blonde over his shoulder, slamming him into the floor.

  Caught off guard, Iida began his own assault on the file a moment after.

  Bakugo growled, staggering to his feet.

  "I'll admit, you've got some moves... But Explosion is still superior to Energy Manipulation!!" He said, charging again.

  Izuku created a thick smokescreen, stepping up onto the wall to his left, dodging Bakugo's assault yet again.

  "Fight me head on damn Deku!!" Bakugo yelled.

  Izuku looked over at Iida, who had managed to grab the 'file' from 'Hagakure'.

  "W-what? This is.. Bakugo, we have to retreat to the gate, now!!!"

  The blonde turned to Iida, eyeing the discarded gloves and shoes, and the black, shifting rectangle in Iida's hands.

  "Blackwhip. Make the threads thin enough, and I can become a puppet master. Make them thick enough, and I can wind them into all sorts of shapes..." Izuku said, floating down to Bakugo and Iida.

  Iida panicked, turning on his heel towards the gate. Bakugo turned on Izuku, snarling.

  Izuku grinned, making the puppeteer threads thicken and snap around his opponents, immobilising them.

  "Where's invisibitch?!!?" Bakugo asked.

  "The hero team has won the excersise. Everyone stop fighting and return to the observation room. Move it!!" Endeavour said through the speakers.

  Izuku released his victims, and led them back up to the observation room. Hagakure, Uraraka, Jirou, Kirishima, Mina, Sero and Kaminari were already there. Hagakure took her costume back from Izuku.

  "Now that the maggots are back.. who can tell me which of these zygotes is the MVP?" Endeavour asked.

  Yayorozu raised her hand.

  "I believe that would be Midoriya. He concocted the plan, and used his own abilities to their best capacity to pull off the plan. He distracted two of the five opponents at once by puppeteering Hagakure's costume, and creating a fake document for it to hold. He was able to hold his own until Hagakure could sneak past the other enemies, who were engaged by her own teammates, and get the file to the gate." She explained.

  Endeavour nodded curtly.

  "Good. Now, the next teams to go will be..."

  Izuku was asked to stay behind by Endeavour. His classmates gave him pitying glances as they left.

  "Midoriya. Out of everyone we've suspected, you are the most likely candidate to wield One for All. I will not come after you for it. I just want to know if there's anyone who can stand up to All for One."

  Izuku feigned shock.

  "You think I have All Might's quirk? Is that what it's called, One for All? It's the opposite of All for One, so it's quite fitting.." Izuku mumbled.

  He broke himself out of it and looked up at Endeavour.

  "I'm sorry sir, but I don't have One for All. The circumstances of my quirk's manifestation are strange, but I don't have All Might's power." Izuku lied through his teeth.

  Endeavour stared down at the greenette for a moment, before sighing.

  "Alright boy. I can't say I believe you, but I'll leave it be."

  Once Izuku left, the flaming hero pulled out his phone, and sent a text.

  Endeavour: he said he didn't have it.

  Gran Torino: I'd recognise Float and Nana's master's Blackwhip anywhere!!

  Nezu: perhaps he is afraid that we want One for All?

  Nighteye: maybe he just took inspiration from some past heroes quirks to manifest his energy? The super strength he wields is knowhere near All Might's strength.

  Recovery Girl: the boy hasn't been to me with any broken bones.

  David Shield: the energy output is restrained. He has a stupendous energy reserve inside him, but only a sixth was used in today's lesson. He's pulling punches so he doesn't kill people, like Toshi did.

  Nezu: so he's gained decent control over One for All. We will continue training him, and once he is ready, Izuku Midoriya can face All For One, and put a stop to this madness.

  Eraserhead: All for One's monthly demand is tomorrow. Want me to do the usual?

  Gran Torino: yes, and stress just how stupid it would be to go out and face him now. The boy's likely only got 50 percent or so under his belt. He'll need 100 to beat that monster.

  David Shield: I've compared the energy readings of Midoriya in today's battle training, and Toshinori in his prime, just before he faced All for One nine years ago. Midoriya's energy reserves are far vaster. I'd say around 15 percent or so more than Toshi.
