Sonic wagged his tail happily as he licked Sapphire on the nose.

Sapphire took that by surprise until she smiled.

"Hehe! You're so cute, Sonic." Sapphire mentions before she returned the favor by kissing him on the forehead.

Sonic smiled back before making small little howls as Sapphire resumed cuddling him again.

Then Sapphire heard a knock on her bedroom door.

"It's my mother! Stay here in the bathroom until I let you out, okay?" Sapphire went as she went in the bathroom and setted the werehog down in there.

Sonic whimpered a little as he looked at Sapphire.

"Don't worry. I promise you that I'll let you out of the bathroom so you can meet my mother." Sapphire says before giving Sonic a kiss.

Sonic nodded before Sapphire closed the bathroom door after leaving the lights on for him.

"Come in!" Sapphire called out.

The bedroom door opened, revealing Sapphire's mother before she made her way over and sat down on Sapphire's bed.

"Hey, Mom...What's up?" Sapphire asked as she walked over to her mother.

"I came here to ask you what you wanted for dinner..." Ayano replied.

"Oh! Okay." Sapphire went before she began telling her mother what she wanted to eat.

"Alright. Dinner'll be ready shortly after I get started on cooking." Ayano began as she stood up before Sapphire suddenly stopped her.

"Mom? Before you leave to go fix dinner, there's something I need to show you..." Sapphire says as she gave her a serious look. "...And I'll explain it all."

"What is it?" Ayano asked.

Then Sapphire took in a deep breath before exhaling as she lead her mother to the bathroom door.

"Promise me you won't freak out..." Sapphire mentioned as she looked back at her mother.

"I promise." Ayano says.

Then Sapphire letted out a sigh of relief silently before she opened the bathroom door.

"You can come on out now...It'll be okay." Sapphire says as she looked at Sonic from the corner of the bathroom door before she kneeled down on the floor and sticking her hands out for him.

Sonic looked at Sapphire and came over to her after she had the door fully opened and was in her hands before being held close in her arms.

As Sonic was in Sapphire's arms, Sapphire stood up before turning around to face her mother.

"Mom...I'd like you to meet Sonic." Sapphire says before she revealed the tiny werehog to her.

Ayano gasped a little as she covered her mouth in shock.

"Oh my god...She's so tiny." Ayano says.

"Uh...Sonic's a "he", mom. Not a "she"." Sapphire replies as she sweat dropped a little.

Sonic only pouted a bit again, unhappy that Sapphire's mother mistakened him for a girl.

"Oh! I'm so sorry, Sonic. I didn't know you were a boy." Sapphire's mother replied as she smiled apologetically before petting Sonic on the head.

Sapphire chuckled a bit before kissing Sonic on the forehead.

"Where did you find him?" Ayano asked as she looked at Sapphire.

Sapphire began to explain everything to her mother as she sat down on the bed while Sonic lied down on her lap and began to doze off.

After Sapphire explained everything, her mother was silent but in shock.

"Sapphire, I'm relieved that you didn't get hurt by Sonic's mother or by anyone who was out hunting but that was really dangerous.

I won't punish you for this however because you did this to protect Sonic and saved his life under his mother's final wishes before her passing.

It would be unfair if I did punish you just because you saved an innocent little werehog. That would be wrong and foolish to be angry at you for that.

But...Promise me you won't do that again." Ayano says.

"I promise." Sapphire replies.
