Six.

The next few days passed by in a blur.

Poor Jungkook still had to be closed up in a wardrobe everytime Jia's clients came.

It aggravated him. Not being in the wardrobe, surprisingly, but seeing these men fucking her.

He told Jia just that. He'd tell her anything now. They'd reached to a point where he would just state his opinion to her at any time.

Whether she wanted it or not was not his concern.

Jia didn't want it this time. She always told him that it was her job, and to make any kind of money she had to do this.

But the thought of this woman selling herself off to shady men every night didn't settle in Jungkook.

No, he wanted to do something about it.

He got out the wardrobe, seeing Jia sleeping soundly in her bed.

She looked so soft, clutching her pillow, the sheets up to her ankles. Her nightgown was up at her thighs.

Jungkook sighed. The luxury of sleep had left him these past few days.

He went over to the bed, picking up the sheets. He spread the blankets up to her bare shoulders.

A thought formed in his mind. Why did you even do that?

The boy was unable to answer his question.

Grabbing his camo jacket, he left the room, and soon the brothel itself.

No one was there to see him out, so that was a relief.

The woods greeted him once again. But Jungkook had to go to the city this time.

Another narrow path led him there in an hour. It usually took him half of that time, but these woods were filled with men patrolling.

More wanted posters were stuck up on trees.

Jungkook's face was plastered everywhere.

The boy only pulled his hood closer to himself.

The city was a big one, rusting towers and old cars rushing past everyone and everything.

He was surprised to see people walking down the street without a care in the world.

Rage filled him. Why were they allowed to do simple things like walk down a street or do some shopping when he wasn't allowed?

It's not like you cared about the rules, did you? And look where it's getting you.

Jungkook shook his head and continued on.

His steps became quicker as he turned another crowded street. People didn't give him a second glance as they pushed pass him.

He was glad they didn't. One closer look and he'd be caught.

Another turn and the boy found himself in a narrower street. He walked further down until he reached his destination.

Woojin's weapons - we buy as well!

Jungkook went inside, the bell clinking at the door.

A muscled man braced his arms at the counter. Must be Woojin. "What can I help you with?"

"I want to sell my gun," Jungkook said. He unslung it from his hips, setting it on the counter table.

The man, or Woojin, inspected the gun. "It's looks decent. Pretty even." he looked up at Jungkook. "Does it work?"

"Want me to test it?" he muttered, setting the man a knowing glare.

"N-no, I believe you," he said, smiling awkwardly.

Woojin took the gun in, and brought out a bag of gold. "Is this enough?"

More than enough. "Just," Jungkook said, taking the gold.

"I..." the man suddenly started, "I think I've seen you before."

Jungkook hid his nerves with a scowl. "I think you're mistaken."

Woojin only squinted suspiciously at him before crossing his arms. "Anything else?"

"Yes...I need your cheapest gun."

The man searched through the counters before taking out a mucky pistol. "Bit rough, but it does the job."

"That's fine," he said. He handed Woojin a fistful of gold and slipped the pistol in his inner pocket.

Jungkook turned to leave when Woojin called for him.

"Wait, I know-"

The boy didn't wait for him to finish as he quickly got out the shop.

Jungkook broke into a run.

He left the street, sprinting on the main road and out the city.

That didn't stop him from running. No, Jungkook ran and ran until he was in the middle of the woods again.

He braced his hands on his knees, panting loudly. His hood had been pulled back, his dark curls a mess.

"Ran enough, coward?"

Jungkook froze.

He turned his head around.

Standing behind him were Namjoon, his senior, and his little squad at his side. Hoseok stood at his right, Yoongi at his left. Jimin stayed by his side.

Seeing Taehyung there made his heart drop. He wished, that out of all the others, he wouldn't be here right now.

"It's time you realise what you've truly done, Kookie," Jimin purred, holding up his shotgun.

"We know you've killed Seokjin, rat," Namjoon seethed. He cocked his gun. "Aren't you ashamed? Aren't you guilty?"

Jungkook held his pistol in his pocket.

"Enjoy hell, you son of a bitch," roared Yoongi, taking out his gun and blast a bullet at Jungkook.

The boy dodged, swerving behind a tree. He took out his pistol and shot the man in the stomach.

The mint-haired man cried out, falling. Hoseok ran over to him, filling the trunk of the tree with bullets.

Jungkook scurried to another tree. A few months ago and this would have killed him, having to gun down his comrades.

But now, he didn't give a shit.

Another round of gunshots had Jungkook moving again. He killed off Yoongi and shot Hoseok in the leg.

The boy's face grazed against a bullet. He hissed, hiding behind a tree and shot Namjoon in the head.

He fell instantly.

Another cock of a gun behind him made him stop.

"Don't you dare."

Jungkook gulped. It was Jimin.

He felt the gun press against his head. "Move an inch and I'll blast your brains out."

Oh shit. I'm done for-

"Kill Jungkook and I kill you."

Jungkook gasped. That was Taehyung.

He heard Jimin hiss in close defeat. He felt him move away.

The boy turned his head towards Jimin, retreating back.

The man gave him a withering glare. "I'll get you, bastard. I'll strike you where you'll least expect it."

With that, he ran off, deeper into the woods.

Jungkook looked to Taehyung, instantly setting his gun on him.

Taehyung did the same.

"Tae..." he said slowly, backing away.

The man's... The man's eyes were shining.

Jungkook looked at him one last time before turning on his heel.

And ran for his life.
