Casey yelped as he felt hands being wrapped around his waist. A firm body was pressed against his back and he intended to lash out until he heard the person's voice.

"Easy tiger." Alec purred in his ear. Casey relaxed, leaning into his touch.

Casey had been training, there was nothing he could do at that current moment other than that. Neither Clary nor Simon were answering his calls, leaving him wondering what the hell it was that they were getting up to.

Alec turned Casey to face him, smiling at him as his hair fell in his face. Casey arched his eyebrow at the mischievous expression upon the shadowhunter's face. "What are you up to?" He asked as Alec ran his fingers up and down his arms, sending shivers throughout his body.

"You," He began, his hazel eyes ablaze. "and I are going on a date."

"A date?" Casey echoed and Alec nodded his head. "Alec." He sighed. "Now might not be the best time to go on a date. With the whole situation I just -"

"Casey you have to relax." Alec laughed. "There's nothing you can do right now, so why not use this time wisely?"

"That sounded incredibly suggestive Alec Lightwood." Casey remarked, smirking.

"Maybe it was meant to be." He breathed, his lips brushing his. He kissed him lightly, smiling. "Besides, later you're meeting the family."

Casey pulled back, his expression resembling that of a deer in headlights. Maryse and Robert Lightwood were said to be strict people and one whom expected a lot from those around them. Casey felt slightly intimidated by the thought of the Lightwood parents scrutinising him.

Alec saw the panic on Casey's face and kissed his temple, attempting to comfort him. "Casey, I'm not introducing you like that." He sighed and Casey pushed away the tinge of disappointment that resided within him.

"I'd rather be introduced as your boyfriend." Casey mumbled as Alec's figertips danced across his arm. "I know Casey, and I want nothing more than to be able to do that. But the Shadowhunter world is different and my parents -"

"I know." Casey interupted, feeling guilty for pushing Alec. Alec leaned down and kissed Casey lightly causing the raven haired Fray to feel like his entire body was on fire.

"One day Casey, I promise." Alec breathed against Casey's lips.

Alec Lightwood was something else entirely and Casey could feel himself falling for him even more as each second passed. His kisses were intoxicating and like an addict he kept coming back for more. His laugh was hypnotic, something he wanted to listen to all day.

His touch was like a flame and he would quite happily allow herself to burn within it. Alec Lightwood was the one whom he wanted to spend now and many years to come with, despite only knowing him for a few weeks. Casey's feelings for the eldest Lightwood son was immense and continuously growing.

"Come on." Alec urged, pulling him out of the training room with a childlike grin upon his face. "We're going on that date, even if I have to carry you there."

"Well I mean if you offering." Casey joked and then let out a giggle as Alec scooped him into his arms, wrapping one his arms around his waist and resting the other beneath his thighs. Casey wasn't very tall, infact he wasn't much taller than Clary which was saying something. He was always limbs and angles as a child and as an adult nothing had really changed.
"My hero." Casey laughed.

"Oh love, you don't need me to protect you. You're quite capable of beating anyone up on your own."

Casey eyes lit up as he looked around the garden that Alec had taken him to. It was a small and secluded area, filled with trees and shrubs that concealed those within the garden from the outside. Fairy lights had been weaved through the trees and rose petals scattered on the path that led to a picnic table in the middle of the garden.

Several different plates of food sat on the table, different fruits and cheeses and a bottle of non alcoholic wine - because as Alec had pointed out they were technically still on the job -.

Alec's cheeks were red as he sheepishly led Casey to the table before seating on the chair beside him. They began to nibble at the different foods, both unable to stop smiling. Chaos surrounded them, and yet in this garden they were in their own little world. A world free from demons and angels, a world where only they existed.

"Alec, this is amazing." Casey announced, gesturing to the magnificent scene around them.

"Well, I wanted us to have our first official date. I have serious feelings for you Casey Fray, and I'm not going to mess this up."
