"Alec what are you doing?" Casey hissed and Alec grabbed his hand and tugged him into the training room. Alec didn't reply, he merely pressed his index finger to his lip and Casey rolled his eyes at his dramatics.
He pressed his palm to the lock of the weapons cabinet and it scanned his fingerprints before allowing him access. He grabbed his bow and arrow and began to walk to the table infront of them when Casey cleared his throat.
"What?" He whispered.
"Why are you acting so shady?" Casey whispered back.
"I'm not!" Alec exclaimed, still keeping his voice to a whisper. He walked to the table and set the bow and arrow down before taking on of the arrows in his hands and skimming his stele over it.
"Yeah, just like you weren't staring at me in my underwear." Casey scoffed, winking.
"I wasn't staring!" He hissed in defense.
"Alec, Casey." A voice came from behind them.
"Act cool." Casey whispered joking, but all the same Alec attempted to look natural as he sat on the table and fidgeted slightly as he tried to cover the arrows.
Casey rolled his eyes at his attempt of a cover up and wondered how he could possibly be so awkward. "I didn't know the two of you were here." Hodge commented and took a sip of his mug of coffee, grinning at the two over the rim of the cup.
"Yeah - uh, we were uh -" Alec stammered as he gestured between Casey and himself.
"Wait, don't tell me . . . gossiping about annoying siblings?" He snorted and Casey grinned, meanwhile Alec tried to choke out a laugh that couldn't have possibly sounded more fake.
"You know it Hodge." Casey grinned and Hodge laughed, shaking his head as he turned and left the two alone once again. When Hodge was gone, Casey turned round to Alec and threw his hands in the air.
"Wow thank God you were born to be a warrior because you would fail as an actor." Casey exclaimed and Alec smiled sheepishly.

Casey and Alec ascended the stairs in complete silence, looking for Alec's sister. Earlier Alec's phone buzzed with a text from Izzy saying for the two of them to meet her. How she knew that Casey was with her older brother was a mystery, but then again it was Isabelle Lightwood.
"Izzy?" Alec called out as they reached the top of the stairs. "I got your text, where are we exactly?"
"The hotel DeMorte. Perfect right? We distract the vamps, Clary and Jace have time to find Simon." Isabelle had a smug smile on her face as she walked alongside the other two shadowhunters, her hips swaying.
"Okay." Alec said simply and Casey had to stifle his laugh at Isabelle's facial expression.
"Okay?" She echoed. "It was hard work interogating Meliorn to get this intel."
"Great job Izzy." Alec said sarcastically, smiling. "You have fairy dust on your dress." He added bluntly.
"Oh and what about you and Casey?" Isabelle huffed, pissed at her brother. "You think I don't know that you two were sharpening a lot more than arrows?"
Casey's jaw dropped, did she know that Alec wasn't straight? It seemed so, and it seemed Alec knew.
"Think what you want Izzy." Alec sighed and continued walking. Casey's eyes widened even further and she wasn't sure who's words surprised her more, Izzy's or Alec's.
"Aw, did Casey reject you?" She pouted. "Please drop it Isabelle." Casey hissed, suddenly feeling rather uncomfortable about discussing the non existent sex life between him and Alec, but Isabelle had no intention of stopping.
"He probably did." Isabelle continued. "But you know you'd be a lot happier if you were so freaking repressed."
"Oh sweet mother of shit, shut up." Casey yelled and both Isabelle and Alec looked at him.
"Alec and I have not had sex and if one person insinuates that we have, I swear to almighty God I'm going to kick seven colours of shite out of them." Casey hissed and stomped off.
"Repressed." Isabelle sang as she sauntered past her brother who was watching the direction in which the raven haired Fray had stormed off in moments before.
Silence filled the three as they walked through the twists and turns of the underground, Alec's arm always being flung out infront of Casey at every corner they turned. Finally they reached a door and Casey prayed that this was the way out or in, because he could not deal with the awkwardness and the tension.
"This must be the way." Isabelle sighed and yanked open the metal door to reveal several vampires at the bottom, fangs out.
"Yeah Izzy looks like it." Casey hissed as they rushed to bolt the door. "Any day now." Isabelle sang as she waited for Alec to rune the door shut.
"This would be a lot quicker if you just held still." Alec hissed as he ran his stele over the door. "It's not holding."
"Fantastic." Casey hissed and took out his seraph blade from the waistband of his jeans. Reaching up, he sliced the pipe above them in two and shoved Alec out of the way so he could bolt the door with it.
"Whoever said the pen was mightier than the sword is an idiot." Isabelle laughed as she admired Casey's handy work.
They stepped back and waited, watching as the vampires clawed their way through the door. Nerves ripped through Casey as he waited the oncoming fight, one of a long line of many that were to come. But something topped those nerves. The excitement, the thrill, the feel of the blade in his hand.
He was born to do this. He was born to be a shadowhunter.
"Do you think they know where we are?" Isabelle smiled. "That's the idea, right?" Alec laughed before turning to Casey. "You ready?"
"Hell yeah." Casey grinned, causing Alec to smile too.
"Maybe you should -"
"No." Casey interupted, knowing that he was going to tell him to stay behind him for his own safety. "Fine." Alec sighed. "But be careful."
"Can't make any promises."
The door flung open and a nest of vampire avalanched in, fangs bared. Isabelle's whip slithered around the ankle of the first ones feet, pulling him to the ground before she stabbed him with her seraph blade.
Alec took the next one and it disintegrated with a single arrow. More and more flurried in and the three shadowhunters where a whirlwind of blades, arrows and whips as they took down each vampire that had the misfortune of coming into contact with them.
Casey sliced through the vampires like they were brambles, killing one after the other effortlessly. Adrenalin filled him as he waited for more to round the corner.
"That was fun." Alec breathed, his eyes on the corridor that would not remain empty for long.
"Best craic I've had all week." Casey snorted.
"Keep coming boys." Isabelle hollered.
