that didn't fit
through the cat flap
he played awhile
he likes to tease
but through the flap
he couldn't squeeze
the little bird
he'd filled with cuts
the cat flap now
oozed with guts
so now I'm cleaning
up the mess
to save my daughters
from distress
I'm sure he'll bring me more to eat
I'm really not fond of that meat
so bless him for thinking of me
but I think I'll have a kebab for tea
