Chapter Eleven.

Wolf reached Chrome and saw a huge wave of families in the parking lot. He swung off his bike and looked around, it was mostly sisters, brothers, mothers and fathers a few close friends. None of his crew were married or had children to protect but they all had someone close to them they wanted safe.

Lacy and Demon stood off to the side, he was petting his dog as they watched families carry their bags into the headquarters. Ty and Zeke were helping people carry things but there was no sign of Becky.

"Hey boss, almost everyone's here." Demon said as he approached.

"Good."

"How's Iris?" Lacy asked.

"Okay, she's a tough kid. I want Sky to go to the hospital and stay with Morgan, if she gets any ideas about leaving I want to be the first to know."

"I'll go tell Sky," Lacy said walking away.

"I want you on the gate, nobody is getting passed you to get into this place, I'll leave Zeke and Ty with you for back up and of course Lacy."

"Where are you going?" Demon asked.

"I need to talk to King and the leader of the Trojans."

"You can't go alone."

"If I take a bunch of people they'll be pissed when I walk in the door, I need you here."

"I'll be here."

Wolf clapped Demon on the back and walked towards the crowds that were slowly filing into the buildings and their rooms. Inside the tall fence and with the gate close they were obstructed from view but he'd told everyone to stay inside, even shooting blindly at the fence the other gang could hurt several people.

He walked into the lower level of the clubhouse where everyone had gathered.

"Can I have your attention please?!" He called out and the large crowd fell silent.

"I know this is difficult for all of you but early today a six year old girl was shot in the parking lot. What ever club is doing this is ruthless, our goal is to keep you all safe. There is plenty of food and water for everyone and every body will have a bed. There will be members here at all times and they will see to it that you are safe, should you need anything we don't have let one of the brothers know and they will get it for you. We hope this lock-down will only last a few days and are working on the situation. The men will all help you find your rooms."

Immediately the members began helping people to their rooms, Zeke and Ty weaved through the crowd to Wolf.

"I can't get a hold of Becky, she's not answering." Ty said, worry sounding in his voice.

"We have to go," Zeke said for once showing concern for the girl.

"Go, find her." Wolf said.

The brother both turned and rushed towards the door together, Zeke using his extreme height to his advantage as he weaved in and out of people.

Wolf turned and excused himself out the back door, walking across the parking lot he slipped on his sunglasses as he swung onto his bike. His first stop would be to the Trojans, he'd ask them about their involvement in the shooting.

They owned a large strip club on the other side of town and he wasted no time in driving there. He parked close to the door and let himself in, even though the sign said closed. A few men were in the building, one behind the bar and two sitting in chairs. They all turned to him and he put his hands up in surrender.

"I need to talk to Ivan," He said.

"You got any weapons on you?" The one behind the bar asked.

Wolf reached behind him and pulled his gun from the back of his pants, he dropped in on the floor and kicked it away. One of the other two men picked it up.

"Ivan is in the back room," The one behind the bar said.

Wolf passed the three men, aware they were watching closely. He pushed aside a red velvet curtain and stepped into a room with red carpet and black walls. Sitting behind the large silver desk sat Ivan, leader of the Trojans. He was around wolfs age, probably only in his late thirties with dark black hair, pale skin and deep blue eyes.

"Can I help you?" He had a German accent.

"I'm Wolf, president of the Animals motorcycle club."

"Alright," He motioned for Wolf to sit across from him.

"We noticed some strange activity from Aces Wild, two of my members investigated and they said that you were at war, normally I wouldn't give a shit but early today a child was gunned down in my parking lot. This makes it personal, I want to know whose side I'm taking in this fight."

"We are at war with Aces Wild, but we're not responsible for shooting a child. Until today just now I have never laid eyes on any of the Animals."

"Why are you at war?"

"They stole several shipments of cocaine from me, when I approached King my threats were met with more thieving. I've had no choice but to pick off his members and buyers. Unfortunately he's relentless and his group is bigger than anticipated."

"He told my men you wanted his men to patch over, he said his group was too small for a war."

"He may have said that but it's a lie, he has more men than I do. I did offer a patch over, to the men who didn't want to die in this war. He heard about my offer and picked off his own Vice President and several members when they agreed to switch sides."

"He killed his own men?"

"Yes."

Wolf knew he needed to be careful in choosing sides but Demon was a good judge of character and he didn't trust King. He also knew King was a ruthless leader by reputation.

"I don't care what happens to the Aces, I don't give a shit about the men but when you get to King.....I'd appreciate a phone call."

"I would definitely be willing to do that in exchange for back up if my men need it."

"Fine, if you need anything call. I don't want involved in all the politics, all I want is blood."

"Fair enough."

Wolf stood and so did Ivan offering him a hand, Wolf shook the other mans hand.

"I look forward to working with you, it seems we have a common enemy." Ivan said.

"Not for long," Wolf replied.

"You sound like my ex-wife."

Wolf had to bite back a laugh, he'd heard stories about Ivans ex-wife Laurel. She was a petite but fiesty blonde, together they'd ran Trojans and she had been his vice president. When they split up she'd taken half his crew, businesses and property and started her own gang. They'd been at each others throats ever since, yet neither had ever made a move to have the other taken out.

"I'll take that as a compliment," Wolf said.

"It was meant as one, Laurel is tough as nails."

"I know, I've got a girl in my own crew...puts most of the men to shame."

"They usually do."

"If you'll excuse me, I believe I owe King a visit."

Ivan made a motion with his hand that indicated he was excused and Wolf stormed from the room. King was a dead man, and so was his crew. As he exited the building they handed him back his gun which he had no intention of using.

His cell phone rang as he crossed the parking lot and it was Zeke.

"I just got a call from Sky, Morgan wants to go home and grab some of Iris' things for her."

"Shit, alright."

"I can go take her to her place," Zeke offered.

"No, I'll go. Sky can stay with Iris."

"Alright then."

"Did you find Becky?"

"Yes, I've got her now. We stopped so I can call you then she's riding back to Chrome with me....Rather she likes it or not!" He yelled the last part and Wolf knew it was directed at Becky.

"Where was she."

"Working about two hours from here, I'll probably stop get her something to eat and we have to get her things from her apartment. It may be dark until we roll in."

"That's fine, just send Ty back to Chrome. We need look outs."

"He's on his way already."

"Be careful keep a look out for Green and yellow patches."

"Aces?"

"Yeah, it's the Aces. If you get in trouble call the club or the Trojans."

"I won't get in trouble, we're sticking to back alleys."

"See you back at the clubhouse."

"Sure thing."

Wolf hung up and then dialed Lacy's number, on the third ring she answered.

"Lace, is Demon with you?"

"Of course he is, we're on watch outside."

"Put me on speaker," He said.

"You're on."

"Demon, you were right King is dirty. The Aces started a war with the Trojans and they shot Iris to try and force us into a side."

"I don't believe that," Lacy said immediately.

"Lacy, all the evidence is there." Wold said.

"What's our move?" Demon asked.

"For now nothing, I'm taking Morgan to her place then I'm going to swing by Aces clubhouse and shake them down some. I didn't want in this but it doesn't matter now. If they find out we're backing the Trojans they'll come there so be on the look out."

"Will do," Demon said.

"I can't believe King would do this," Lacy said.

"Let it go Lace," Demon said gently.

"I'll be in touch I just want you all on the look out for Aces."

"Okay," Demon said, Lacy remained quiet.

"Lacy?"

"Okay."

"Ty's coming in to back you and Zeke is out with Becky."

"We'll leave a light on for him," Demon said.

"Leave one on for me too....it's going to be a long night."

He hung up and swung onto his bike and slid his sunglasses in place. As soon as Morgan was safely back at the hospital he was sending a message to King. Eye for an eye, his debt to Iris would be paid and when he was done the Aces Wild would be a thing of the past.

Okay guys help me out, who would you picture as Ivan? Black hair (possibly slicked back) Blue eyes. Give me your best ideas.

Also, Lacys book will be title Damaged Lace.
