~Sonic's POV~

I yawned, waking up in a… bed?

"Good morning, Sonic." The doctor from earlier greeted me, walking through the door.

"W-who are you!? Where am I?" I asked.

"My name is Dr. Steve Hendrikson. You're in Mountain Veiw hospital. We moved you here after you collapsed in my arms. Looks like Stacy fixed up your ankle." Dr. Hendrikson said. Everything came flooding back, up to when he ran through the doors after me and Wolfy came in.

"W-where's Wolfy!?! I need to see her, where is she!" I yelled, attempting to climb out of my bed.

"Sonic, calm down! Wolfy left. She knew you were in good hands." Hendrikson calmy but firmly ordered.

I paused, "B-but I never got to say goodbye… Or thank her…" I was distraught, my Wolfy left me..
A tear silently rolled down my cheek.

"Don't worry, you'll see her again. I'm sure of it. Now, get back in bed. You narrowly avoided amputation, you need to stay here until it heals." Hedrickson reassured me.

"I-i hope so…" I murmured, climbing back under the covers. "How long will it be?" I asked.

Hendrikson sighed. "Twelve weeks. Then four weeks of physical therapy. You suffered a nasty break. Not to mention the 3K you walked."

I sighed and layed back down. "Can I call Tails?" I asked.

"Of course, after you get some rest. You were suffering from exhaustion and had a very minor frostbite. Be thankful Wolfy knew how to hunt. It was only a day, but lots of things can happen in 24 hours." Hendrikson explained.

"Okay…" I weakly agreed, falling fast asleep soon after.

~Wolfy's POV~

I sighed as I walked alone from the hospital. I miss my Hedgehog. It was very cold and I soon collapsed on the ground from exhaustion. I panted, trying to catch my breath in the icy air. It's really tiring walking around all day, you know?

But it was worth it.
