~Wolf's POV~

The blue hedgehog soon fell asleep.

'What does he mean by "boy"?' I wondered, snuggling up with him. I wish I could snuggle up with people all the time. It feels so nice and warm.

If only...

~Sonic's POV~

'Wha-' I thought, feeling pressure on my neck. I opened my eyes to see a navy blue chest with black paws slapping the ground with every… step?

I tried to move my head to see sharp fangs digging into my neck. Hard enough to hold me but gently enough to not break the skin.

'He's carrying me.'

"Boy, let me go please!" I said. He nodded and gently set me on the ground. I uncurled from my ball and tried to stand up. But to no avail. I toppled over and looked down at my ankle. It was even more swollen.

I hissed and took off both my shoe and sock. My foot was very swollen and bruised. I touched it and it hurt. I also noticed that it was a bit disfigured.

Yup, definitely broken.

"Hey, um.. Wolf, could you maybe help me to a hospital? And uh…. Carry this?" I asked, stuffing my sock into my shoe and handing it to Wolf. He took it and kneeled down so I could push myself up. "Thanks. Do you know where the nearest hospital is?" He nodded. "Great. Please take me there."

Wolf nodded yet again and started moving, cautious of my injury, walking slowly so I could limp at his pace.

I did not like being carried, so this was a relief, even if it hurt.

~3 mph later~

"A-are we t-there, Girl?" I asked. It's been three hours since I woke up and the Wolf let me see what gender she was. Turns out she's a girl! But that is not something I want to see again.

Anyways, Wolf shook her head no. I sighed and looked around, noticing for the first time that we were in a city. There were barely any people out and about, mainly because it was freezing cold so everyone was inside where it was warm.

'I want to be warm…' I thought, yawning. I was really tired from all that walking. I yawned again and my eyes started to close.

'A few minutes later, Wolf barked and I looked up to see the gleaming Hospital building.

"Oh thank goodness!" I sighed. Forgetting about my ankle, I ran towards it. All of a sudden the Hospital exploded! "Nooo!!!" I yelled. Then a pretty, red red wolf walked out. Wolf yelped with joy and ran towards it, leaving me behind.

I felt something wet on my face and felt it. When I looked at my hands, they were covered in blood! I gasped and fell into a pool of black ink.'

I opened my eyes and gasped for breath, panicking. I noticed that I was sitting down next to a small restaurant with Wolfy acting as a pillow.

'Just a dream… I'm fine…'

"Wolfy! Wake up, Girl." I shook her awake and she opened her eyes. She shook her head and stood up, helping me afterwards. "Let's keep going. Alright?"

We started walking and about half an hour later, I saw it. A hospital. I sighed in relief then picked up the pace. I needed to be treated.

We reached the doors in a matter of minutes and pushed through them, entering the silent lobby. There were no chairs or people. But that changed when a female nurse and doctor walked through the door opposite us. The doctor saw us and came running.

~3rd person POV~

"Sonic the Hedgehog!?! You're back!" Dr. Hendrikson yelled, running towards the injured hedgehog.

Sonic smiled, his eyelids half-way closed. "Y-yeah… I'm b-back…" he muttered.

"You're pretty banged up, what happened?" Hendrikson asked. The wolf by Sonic's side wagged its tail, looking up at him.

"I got a boo-boo! Then the alley people wanted to hurt me real bad! Then Wolfy come and killed the bad guy leader and we walked five miles!!!" Sonic gleefully explained, acting like a small child in his delusional state. "Wolfy carried me cause a my boo-boo. Now I'm tired…" He said, yawning before passing out in the doctors arms.

Wolfy barked, wondering if the injured hedgehog was OK. Hedrickson nodded and the wolf dropped the shoe in her mouth and backed out of the lobby, running off into the distance.

"Okay… that just happened." The bewildered doctor said, adjusting his arms so he could carry him bridal style. He motioned for the nurse to pick up what the wolf dropped and follow him. She did just that and they both disappeared through the door they came from.
