How do you go from an ordinary life, from being an average person, to being responsible for so much, in a life you hate with every fiber of your being?

It's a common tale - all the Legends start with going from a nondescript life to the extraordinary one destined for you. But you never hear of screw up sons having their life destroyed and forced into a world they hate and do not understand. There is a saying that in Xeverron, anything can happen. I know this to be true.

For it happened to me. Now it is old news, history, long since passed. But every night it is fresh in my mind, as I recline in my chair, trying to keep the demons away.

They call me Draken, and this is how this terrible living nightmare started. On a dark, stormy night no less.
