Panic
~London bridge is falling down, falling down, falling down, London bridge is falling down, my fair lady~
Slowly, a wheelchair was wheeled down a long, dark hallway, the person in it sat hunched, face facing down, face blank. Four people in dark clothes surrounded the person, another pushing the chair, guns in their hands. They turned, the automatic doors swishing open. There in the room sat five people at a big oval table. They all turned as one to look at the person.
The wheelchair came to a stop in front of the table, the five guards stepping back and leaving the room. The room they had gone into was big, with one big wall on one side and big and wide windows on the other. The lower floor held multiple people sitting facing the computer monitors, various people going back and forth, papers in their hands.
One man stood facing the lower floor, a man wearing a black trench coat, and black boots, an eyepatch on one of his eyes. He was bald with dark skin, and he stood straight and tall with his hands behind his back. Next to him stood a woman with dark brown hair pulled in a tight bun. She wore a dark blue uniform like the rest of the guards and workers working below them.
One of the people sitting at the table, his hair a dark brown with brown eyes, a goatee on his face, turned to look at the person in the wheelchair, his dark eyebrows raised.
"And what, exactly, is this? I hope you didn't call us here just to show us straight jacket here eyepatch"
A man sitting next to him, with short blond hair and blue eyes, shot him a look.
"Oh come on capsicle, you can't tell me you aren't slightly by this, oh wait, nevermind, some of us actually have things to do, unlike someone else here to does nothing but follow eyepatches orders.
They all stopped talking, turning to the screens that, one by one, turned to static. The agents down on the floor immediately jumped to their feet, voices rising as one as they shouted to each other, trying to find the problem.
"Someone explain, NOW!" Fury barked as he marched forwards, his sole eye glaring down at them. Hill stepped forward, one hand on her ear, no doubt listening to the talking of those standing under them. "Nothing yet sir, all screens have shut off without reason, communication with those outside this room is gone."
Steve turned to Tony, a heavy glare on his face. "Was this you Stark? What the hell are you doing?"
Tony put his hands u[. "Hey! I didn't do anything, why does everyone always blame me?!?" he exclaimed, rolling his eyes.
"Because it's always you, aren't you the one that gave the techs a hard time by playing the barney song for seven hours straight last month?" Clint said, leaning back in his chair, his eyes moving back and forth on the screens.
"And who is the one that rigged the vending machine in the cafeteria to shoot out theri snack at them?" Tony snarked back, shooting him a glare.
A knife shot down on the table in front of them, silencing them immediately. They both turned to Natasha, who was giving them both a raised eyebrow and twirling a knife in her hand. They both shut up after that. "I think, I think I need to leave, like now" Bruce murmured, turning towards the door and practically running to it. No one said a word to him, preferring to let him leave than to have to deal with a raging Hulk.
"Um" they all turned to look at Bruce, who already arrived at the door, but had a nervous look on his face. "I thought you were leaving Brucy-bear" Tony said.
Bruce nodded, "I was, until I realized that the doors won't open."
"What?!" They all stood, with Steve striding towards the doors. He put his hands on it and tried to pry them open with no avail. "What the hell" Clint muttered. Fury turned to them, glaring once again before turning to Tony. "Open the doors Stark!"
"I already have Jarvis on it Eyepatch, nothing is working, and like I said, this ain't me"
In that moment, all the screens turned black, making everyone in the room go silent. One by one, the screens all turned back on, showing a dark forest. The screens flashed, this time showing a bridge in the middle of nowhere. When the screens flashed again, it showed the same bridge on fire. Quickly, the screens continued flashing, each time showing a different scene, each one growing more gruesome than the last. Slowly, a girl starting appearing on the screens as well, her back to them. She looked to be seven years old, wearing a blue dress, her hair in pigtails, jumping rope. The speakers starting picking up a sound, slowly growing louder. Once they were finally able to pick up on the words, they shuddered.
"~London Bridge is falling down
Falling down, falling down
London Bridge is falling down
My fair lady
Build it up with iron bars
Iron bars, iron bars
Build it up with iron bars
My fair lady
Iron bars will bend and break
Bend and break, bend and break
Iron bars will bend and break
My fair lady
Build it up with gold and silver
Gold and silver, gold and silver
Build it up with gold and silver
My fair lady
London Bridge is falling down
Falling down, falling down
London Bridge is falling down
M-y f-a-i-r l-a-d-y"
Throughout the song, the girl had slowly turned to face them. Once she was fully turned, they saw that her face looked to be severely burned, her eyes non existent. The screens shut off, no one made a noise when the helicarrier slightly shook. Right before it fell from the sky.
Everyone one in the floor starting yelling. Fury barking orders, Hill yelling into her coms, trying to get someone to respond, Tony was clutching on the table along with Steve and Clint, Bruce had fallen to the ground, hands outstretched on the wall, trying to remain calm.
Only one person noticed the girl on the wheelchair, the vacant look on her face having slipped, a slight smile on her face. Over everyone's yelling and the chaos around them, a small click was heard.
"You better stop whatever you are doing before I put a bullet straight in your skull" the redhead holding the gun practically growled, pushing the gun closer to the girls head.
The girl said nothing, her eyes slowly turning to look at the Russian, her eyes blank. With one blink of her eyes, everything went back to normal.
Everyone stopped, turning to look around them. The screens went back to showing their usual, the helicarrier back in its place in the sky, all the paperwork that had previously been strewn around in the chaos back in its place. The agents looked around at each other, confused looks on their faces. The door next to Bruce opened, the previous five agents running in, gun held up. "Sir! Is everything alright?" one of them said, going immediately to Fury while the other four turned to the girl in the wheelchair, theri guns trained on her.
"Where the hell have you been? Whats the status?" Fury yelled, turning to Hill on the second question. "We don't know sir, we lost coms with everyone inside the room and the doors refused to open" the one agent said while Hill turned to Fury as well. "Everything is as should be sir, it appears no one outside of this room experienced what we did."
Fury turned to Natasha, having noticed the gun on the girl. "Romanoff, explain" he glared at the girl before turning his attention to the assassin.
Before she could speak, the girl in the wheelchair starting singing in the same blank, ominous voice the little girl on the screen had.
"

She turned to look at them, a grin forming on her face.
"Boo"
