Nanalise: Izuya . I wonder what they're going to serve for lunch today.

Izuya : foodie.

Nanalise: hehe. School is boring. My powers can't be used for anything like yours. Just... Using it. I have to trade. And I'm not allowed to just trade anything. Sighs.... Maybe they'll just ask me to be a administrator when I graduate.

Izuya : it's ok. Even if that's the case, I won't let anyone bully you.

" Izuya favourite !" She kissed him on the cheek.

That's when she felt a push to her back. She fell forward to the ground and her umbrella fell from her hand. The daylight shone on her and she screamed as it burns her shoulders " aaah!!!" She tries to cover her face as her hands burn .

Izuya quickly takes the umbrella and shades her . She scrunches up under the shade " .... Pain... " As she let go of her hands, patches of her face got burned.

Izuya turned around angrily to stare at the one who did it. A female classmate. Ariel. " What did you do that for ?!!! You know she burns under daylight !!! "

Ariel : like a monster !! Hmph. She shouldn't even be counted as a god. What kind of god has a weakness like that ?!

Nanalise stood up carefully and pulled onto the edge of his shirt with her two fingers " it's ok. If you fight here, you will be punished. "

He turned around and looked at her burnt skin. It was a deep red and had boils. He was heartbroken. He gave her the umbrella. She held onto it and he carried her up in his arms and headed into the school.

Ariel : hey !!! Where are you bringing her ?!!

Izuya : Miss Helen. Can you please help ?

Helen is a small healing god under a big god. Small gods have powers similar to the big god they're under. But not as extensive, or powerful. They're usually are in charge of healing other gods when they are hurt, or even helping to answer to healing prayers from humans.

Helen: oh no. You accidentally gone into the daylight ? Nanalise. Forgot your umbrella ?

Nanalise : heh...

Izuya: it's not like that !! It's Ariel !!! She pushed Nanalise.

Helen : oh... I see.

Izuya : can you do anything ?

Helen takes out a container of cream from the cupboard " of course." She opens the container " come back after school. I'll heal you completely. " She puts the cooling cream onto her burns " this will help you not to be in pain in class."

Izuya : I'll tell teacher she's not ok. So she'll be excused from class.

Helen : aww. You two are a thing huh ?

Izuya blushed a little.

Nanalise: um um ! Izuya favourite !

Helen ; I see. So cute. But you still have to go to class on time. So come to me after school.

Izuya : can't she use her powers?

Helen ; you've got to ask your teacher about that.

Izuya : ok...

" Let's go ! " Nanalise gets off the chair and heads for the door. Izuya follows.

Nanalise; yay !!! I can go home now. And it's evening. No umbrella !!

Izuya: I'll send you home.

" Stop there !!" Ariel held a trident in her hand. A gold trident that was taller than her in size.

Izuya : what now ? Ariel

Ariel : I want her dead.

Izuya ; you're crazy.

Ariel : I want her dead !!!

Izuya : I'm not letting you kill her.

Ariel : no !!! You're mine !! She can't have you !!

Izuya : you're nuts.

Ariel ; no I'm not!! Father said he'll go and ask for me !! Ask your father to let me marry you !! So you're mine !!

Izuya ; I don't like you. I won't.

" but you're... You're mine... No !!! I don't care. She must die !!! " Ariel charges forward with the trident towards Nanalise.

Izuya pushed Nanalise away and created a small circular shadow shield. The trident hits upon impact. Like butter, it sliced pass the shield and it stabs into him.

Ariel takes the trident back " no... No... That's not what I... This is all your fault !!!" Ariel was confused and ran.

Nanalise sat down next to him. The unconscious him. She shakes " Izuya... Izuya..." She touches to the wound in the middle of his body " Izuya..." Her tears start to fall " can you hear me ? Izuya..."

There was no response.

" No... No... NOOOOO !!!! " She screamed to the sky. The sky turns grey and an entire magic circle starts to expand from her. It engulfed all life as it expanded. All grass. All flowers. All trees wilted. The circle wouldn't stop as it swallowed.

And as it swallowed life, it returned to Izuya , healing his wounds.

Reyn ; Mephisto !!

Mephisto: oh hey. Reyn. So anxious . What can I do for you ?

Reyn ; your daughter !! She's out of control !!

Mephisto : oh dear.

He reached the foot of the mountain . It was all grey. The whole mountain was dead. Not even animals or insects were spared.

The circle was still expanding to beyond the mountain, to his feet.

With a snap of his finger, he placed a coat of barrier around himself. As the circle expanded over him. He was unharmed. With another snap, he teleported to where she was.

" Nanalise. Nanalise. " He took a look and sighed. Her eyes were empty. She was only semi conscious. He looked to Izuya, who had no wounds. He put his hand on izuya " oh... Is this why"

" Alright. Enough." He put her hand on her head " go to sleep." And she collapsed in his arm. He picked her in one arm, and Izuya in the other .

The magic circle had stopped finally. But it couldn't give back what was taken.

Izuya's father, kageya came hearing what had happened.

Kageya : so ?!! How did it go ?

Mephisto: relax my friend.

Kageya: I'm not your friend .

Mephisto: I don't know who did this. But was pretty cruel. One stab to destroy the core. Must be some blade.

Kageya: WHAT ?!!!

Mephisto: but but... My silly daughter here. Tried all she could to save your boy. Went out of control even.

Kageya : oh... so he's ok now ?

Mephisto: it takes 10 million souls to make one god core. The wound is healed , but she only managed to give him back a quarter of a core. While... Destroying a whole mountain and... A bit more.

Kageya : can he even survive a quarter ?

Mephisto: I've done some stuff. He's back now. As a full core .

Kageya relieves a breath " I'm going to regret this. But you're a Trade god. So, how can I repay you ?"

Mephisto smiled " that's why we're friends. It's fine. I did it to help you. Because my silly girl really likes your boy. I don't want her to be sad. "

Kageya: 7 and a half million souls. Cost you lots.

Mephisto: eh. Will earn them back.

That's when Izuya walked out of the room " .... Father. "

Emperor : so what's the story ? Mephisto. Your daughter went berserk and killed goddess Amber's baby.

Mephisto: my daughter went berserk because kageya's son, Izuya was hurt and died. She was too sad and tried to bring him back. She's young and didn't know what she was doing.

Mephisto: I do not agree !! She did no wrong. If you lock away her powers, how will she live as a god in future?

Emperor : it's just temporary.

Emperor: then ... ... since she can't live as a god now, she can live as a human. Until she can control her powers. Learn how it works. We'll review this... And she can come back.

The emperor sweatdrops " old ... man... " Then he smiled " that's right. You'll be back. Nanalise. I promise."

She turned around " really ?"
