So Edness was chosen and elected to go to the peace treaty on behalf of Assedon.

While Polusia sent Denven. Everything could be said at least for now within Nana's plans.

The two parties sat down and they started discussing.

The whole process took a few months. It wasn't easy. A war that lasted centuries. One party wanted compensation. Another didn't want to give away too much.

" now to bring down the Saluvor Family " Nana stirs the cauldron.

Amira : it's like you're a witch.

Nana : hey ! Though this is special. One particular fruit can neutralize the poison.

Amira : that easy ?

Nana : hey ! Not easy. I had to create a new poison .

Amira: you could use an old poison

Nana : don't want. What if they have an antidote for it ?

Amira : skeptic

Nana: why are you here ? Aren't you supposed to be with your boyfriend ?

Amira ; we're getting married soon.

Nana : that great !

Amira : Grey's baby is also born. When are you going back ?

Nana : after everything is over.

Amira : that's tomorrow right ? The peace treaty. I heard almost all the terms are set.

Nana : needs one more push...

All the important members of the Saluvor Family had arrived . They all had arrived because they received an invitation for a family meeting.

You could tell the members consisted mostly of military officers while the rest were merchants

They all murmured in the hall wondering what today's meeting would be about.

Nana sighed .

Shadow Demon: what is the matter ?

Nana : I have to kill elders today

Shadow Demon: that matters to you ?

Nana shrugged " if they won't be stubborn, maybe I won't have to."

Then the head of the house , Elvador Saluvor invited the three  elders of the house. Two male, one female. Nece. Rosa. Louise.  Into his room.

Elvador: why did you call this meeting for ?

Nece : we didn't

Rosa : but about time we did.

Louise: or were you trying to surrender just like that ?

Elvador: it's not that simple.

Nece : our family has been in military for years. We won't just lose the power like that.

Elvador: the Deseri has already agreed.

Rosa : she's different!! She only wants to hold power in her hand. She doesn't care about her family members .

Louise: you're the head. You should know your responsibilities.

* Knock knock *

Nece : not now!!

The door opens anyway and nana comes in " hi. Three esteemed elders."

Rosa : who are you ?!!

Nana : I'm Nana Hailarose.

Rosa : no bloody idea.

Louise: this is not a meeting you can just barge into. Get out.

Nana : hmm. But I want , no. Need. Need Elvador to surrender. Like the other generals did. I'm sure I can still make sure your army still stays at the border.

Nece : you don't know what you're talking about. Don't listen to her. Once war is over , the government will want to cut our power down.

Rosa: he's right.

Nana : you're a general. Your job is to the country.

Louise: to the family

Nana :  then how about your own officers ? The ones you personally chose. They fought blood and sweat. Died. They mean nothing too ?

Elvador: shut up !!

Nana : if I go out there and ask them if they would be willing to be... Fired. Turn into merchants. Do you think they'll be ok with that ?

Nece laughed " no way they'll be ok with that."

Nana : why ? The things they've taken over the years as an officer. I'm sure it's enough.

Rosa : that's why no one want to stop.

Nana: I see. Let's test that out then.

She walked out of the door and walked to the staircase , to the middle where there was a platform" hi ! I'm nana. I'm related to the politician. Edness."

" She's here to convince us to surrender!! " A merchant yelled " give up our family's power."

Nana : do you want to ? You've been a soldier for thus long. How many people have you known died? Now, you can go back to your families for a long period of time. Enjoy peace. No more deaths. No more pains.

" That's how war works !! " Another merchant yelled.

Nana ; aren't you tired ? Fighting this long. Now you don't have to anymore. Death doesn't have to be your final destination.

Rosa : she doesn't know what she's talking about. She just wants out Family to be doomed !!!

The an officer spoke up " what... Can we do? I have only known war my entire life."

Louise: exactly.

Nana : open a small business. Have your happy days. The things you've earned. The things you've looted till now, don't tell me they aren't enough.

" Then... It doesn't sound too bad." Another officer spoke.

Then the merchants and officers started to quarrel.

Nece : see. You don't know our Family

She sighed " Shadow Demon !!
" He nods and closes the big door that led outside.

Nece : what are you doing ?

Nana : let's see who's really the winner. Shall we ?

Rosa : hmph. You can't tell now.

Nana : well... Everyone !! We  need a vote. Whoever wants the war to stop , stand on the left. Who wants the power to continue, stand on the right.

The ones who wants power evidently had just a little bit more than the ones who wanted peace. There was a mix of both parties on either side.

Nana : thank you. You three.

Louise: huh ?

Nana ; Shadow Demon.

He nods and a big magic circle appeared below the ones on the right side. It encircled them into a black wall around them and you could hear screams.

Elvador put his hand out to threaten her " what are you doing?!!"

Nana : they're dying. Shadow Demon placed the trap as we came in. There are thousands of spikes in there.

As she said, black spikes  had came out through the ground, through the black wall they were encircled in. Killing all of them one by one. Even those who has powers tried to escape by breaking the wall , but to no avail.

Elvador; let them go !!

Nana : I'm solving your problem.

Elvador: they are people !!

Nana : like you and I have killed less of those in the war.

He closed his hand into a fist and put down.

Rosa ; Elvador!!

" Oh shut up. " Nana turns around to see the three elders. One smooth swift swing horizontally and and the blade slices their throats. They were caught off guard and were now staring at her while trying to survive holding onto their wounds.

Nana : that's what you get when you live too comfortably.

Elvador's wife screamed in horror " you... You monster !!" As she saw it happen right before her very eyes.

Nana : look. You will surrender most of your power tomorrow and go to the borders ?

Elvador : there leaves the one spot where the government keeps a small battalion in the capital.

Nana : that's your condition ?

Elvador: yes.

Nana : who do you have in mind ?

Elvador : you want me to go to the borders that much ? Hm. I guess as long as I'm in the capital, my influence is always there. Fine, I do have someone in mind.

Nana nods in agreement and then walks down the stairs " shadow Demon. All dead ?"

Shadow Demon: a few.

Nana : let them go.

The magic stops and the ones who had escaped were in the middle of many dead bodies. They were shocked , horrified and stunned.

Elvador: damn you Colonel Hailarose . Now I've bodies to keep

Nana walked on without turning back " we'll send a cleaner for free. And... I don't use that title anymore."

Elvador: once in war , then you've never really left it !
