trapped in a kill box surrounded by dead bodies and blood being chased by a trained soldier that's gone mad... Yeah and never felt more alive! The guys name is Cliff, must have had some sort of mental breakdown hey it is only bad lips and judging but literally kill me so gonna kill him first

it disappears from my site just for a moment I can only see glimpses of him as he runs through the shelves narrowly avoiding site must have been a skill he picked up in Vietnam clever practically remaining invisible

with a swing of my leg I kick him in the nuts he dropped his machete for a second then uppercut him in the face

I run into the escape hatches that Cliff's been using during a fight dredges after me but I closed the door behind me and lock it there's no way after me at least not directly behind me anyway

so that in mind I run immediately over to the opposite end of the one I think he's going to enter into and I was right I can see him through the shelves brilliancy me right time for the plan I grab what was left of the golf club I dropped before and I try to twist it around the shelves causing a domino effect all the shelves on one end for on each other and cliffs got nowhere to go he's crushed underneath all the boxes and the shelves

narrator's point of view

now the fight was over the barricades opened whether it was because Jess deactivated them or because Cliff had some automatic opener after he was finished with a fight was unclear either way that your box was opened

Juliet immediately ran over to her boyfriend and snuggled him into her breasts: I was so worried about you you did dick kicking awesome!

with those last words hitting his ears Cliff smiled as he passed on izuku closed the man's eyes, Juliet went to take as dog tags as a trophy but her boyfriend stopped her: no this man is in a psychopath... He's just a man who lost his granddaughter let's get those people out of here

they all nodded as they left the soldier to rest in peace, Jess looked at Cliff for a moment and looked back at her new compatriots she was actually surprised she for unexpected them to take as dog tags as a trophy but they didn't

Rosalind open the door allowed the hot stitches to escape they gave them some directions to get the security room because even though the CIA were trying to create biological weapons it was pretty clear that they were going to save people if they could so they send them back to the security room for safety

Jess turned to face izuku was holding the machete and looking at cliff from a distance: you didn't take one of your trophies... Why?

izuku responded: like I said is not crazy is just a man who lost his granddaughter... Jess I know we seem like we're no better than a psychopath sometimes but the truth is when it comes to people like the crazy clown guy or the crazy cultists we don't like to see them as people so we pretend that they are not makes it easier for us to deal with the fact that we are killing another human being

Jess: you didn't seem to hesitate before so what's different about Cliff is it because he regained his sanity at the last moment

Juliet responded: now it's because it's moments like that that remind us that we've just taken a person's life yes it's kill or be killed but realising the fact that we've killed someone is a lot harder to swallow when they're not crazy I mean Cliff had a family he had a life and we just cut it short yes he was nuts but we know the reason why he was and honestly if something like that happened to me I can't say I wouldn't lose it either could you

Jess didn't say anything she know that Juliet was right if something like that happened her she probably would lose her mind, what she was mostly surprised to see that these horny teenagers actually want just interested in killing zombies there was a sense of maturity with them a level of maturity that most adults don't get to maybe they pretend to be childish just to deal with the fact of what they're doing that's what Jess thought anyway

with all the hostages released an armed to go back to the security room the team set out again to find Isabella and Cordelia
