Lollie Parker

The group had made it back to New York in one piece.

Maya, Riley, and Lollie all walked into the school building together.

"Riley, Lollie. I have to tell you something."

"I don't want to know." Riley said, "Whatever it is hopefully it'll work out."

"Riles, something happened."

"I don't need to know what happened." Riley said.

Lollie took a bit of her muffin.

"No, I need to tell you. You two need to know."

"Maya, I know a lot of things are going to happen." Riley said.

"You know what else I know?"

"I liked the new boy and you stepped back for me and then I saw how much you care for him. You need to feel whatever you feel."

"How could I ever keep that from you?"

"Whatever happens, happens and I have faith in you."

"Lollie?"

Lollie looked over at Maya, "Do what you think is right Maya. You can't keep your feelings in forever."

Noah hit the corner with Lucas beside him.

"My brother! Hey!" Riley shouted.

She threw her fist up and was prepared to hit him but he caught it.

"Hi. Hey, Riley. You know, um, I want to thank you again for telling me how you feel." Noah said.

"I will always believe in you. And I will always be here." She said.

"Thank you, Riley."

Noah looked over at Maya, "Hi."

"Hey."

Noah sucked in some air and walked inside.

The two girls followed after.

"Are they going to be okay?" Lucas asked.

Lollie shrugged her shoulders, "I hope so."

The two walked into the classroom.

Charlie Gardener walked into the classroom and talked to Lollie.

"Hey." Lollie smiled.

She walked up to him and hugged him.

No matter what happened to the two of them they were still great friends.

"How was your trip?"

"It's was okay."

"Okay?"

"I mean, eh. It was eh."

Charlie smiled, "Well, That sounds eh."

Lollie laughed.

"I'm keeping my word." He said.

"What are you talking about?"

He only smiled at her and walked towards Riley.

"Hey, Riley."

"Hi, Charlie."

"Charlie Gardner!" Maya said.

"Stop it." Lollie said.

"Cheese souffle!"

"Maya, we just got back. What could he possibly know? Who could have possibly said anything?" Riley asked.

The three of them faced Zay.

"He made me." He said.

"How did he make you?" Riley asked.

"I was like, "you wanna hear a great Riley story?" He said "Yes.""

"I heard you and Noah are just gonna be friends." He said.

Lollie whispered, "Brother and Sister maybe."

"Actually we are."

"I heard you're free. Are you free?" He asked.

Lollie sat on Noah's bed.

"I don't want Riley to be your sister."

"What?"

"Riley wants to be your sister and I'm saying no."

"Riley's not my sister, stupid."

Noah poked the side of her head.

"Well tell her that."

"What's up with you?"

Lollie stood up and headed towards the door.

"Fix this."

"Fix what?"

"Everything. I'm your sister. Mariah your sister. It's always been us and it will always only be us. Fix this."

"The Hoover Dam on the Arizona Nevada border holds back ten trillion gallons of confused fourteen-year-old feelings that look to smack down the concrete structure of your life and my life, and it can't take it and I don't want it, so everybody sit here and nobody move!" Mr. Matthews said, "Because as strong as the structural integrity of the hoover dam might be, just one little, tiny drop of water that makes its way through this barrier will chip away at the structural integrity of our lives as we know them, and the immediate result is the end of my personal happiness! So, your assignment is to hold everything back until I die and not let anything through!"

A girl handed Lollie a note, she gestured towards Riley.

Lollie nodded and handed the note to Riley.

Mr. Matthews looked at Riley, "Riley, what's that?"

"Nothing."

"Riley, did something get through?"

"Riley, something happened between me and Noah."

"Oh, boy." The siblings muttered.

Riley opened the note and looked over at Charlie.

"Yes, Charlie. I will go out with you."

"Hoover Dam." Mr. Matthews said.

Lollie threw her head back and laughed.

Hoover Dam. That's funny.

The next day in class, written on the board was Riley, Maya, and Noah.

"If I knew this class was going to loop around your daughter, I would've dropped out." Lollie said.

"Matthews, we know that everything you teach is always about us, but this is just lazy!" Maya said.

"I don't have the time! I'm going right for it! You don't think I could mash this up with the end of world war ii if I wanted to? America loves Russia! Then America doesn't love Russia! Japan loves France now! Japan asks France to go bowling!" Mr. Matthews said, "So they go on a couple of dates, but then Japan says to France, "I just want to be friends." So France says, "I got enough friends." So they try to be civil with each other, but there's a certain chill while they're hanging out by the lockers."

He continued, "There's a chill! You don't think everyone in this room is going bowling with everybody else at some point? Riley, Maya, and Noah is all about everybody in this room, in every room, in the whole world, and the universe! They just got there first! The jerks!"

"Dad!"

"You're going to high school.
You are growing up in spite of my wishes. It's real now. What's happened already is nothing compared to what's gonna happen to you now. I just don't want anything bad to happen to you. Don't let anything bad happen to you!" Mr. Matthews said.

He walked over to the spinning chair and grabbed his bag and headed towards the door.

"The class isn't over yet, sir." Lucas said.

"Nah, I've had it."

Zay, Lucas, and Lollie sat at the table watching Maya and Noah having their date.

Noah was really excited about it and it seems like Maya was having just as much fun.

"They seem to be having a good time." Lollie said.

Zay looked over, "Yeah, perfect match."

"So this is our new relationship?" Maya asked.

"Yeah." Noah looked over at his friends, "How's it going so far?"

"Pretty good, man." Zay shouted.

"You three don't have to watch." Maya said.

"We can't look away!" Zay said.

"We have nothing else to do." Lollie added.

"Actually, I think we can leave." Lucas said.

He grabbed ahold of Lollie's hand.

"Actually I think I said we have nothing else to do."

Lucas smiled, "Of course."

Farkle walked in and looked at the couple, "How's it goin'?"

"Look at 'em! They're doing great."

"You think they like each other?" Lollie asked, "Like really like each other?"

"I do. I really really do." Zay said.

"What about Riley and Noah?"

"Well, I met Noah the same day I met Riley and she's eh, I don't know." Zay said.

"What?" Lucas asked.

"I'm trying to say, the thing we all knew about Noah is that he would do anything for his friends. He doesn't want to hurt anyone." Zay said.

"So you think they are like brother and sister?" Farkle asked.

"No, I just think they have a lot in common. I mean, Riley would do anything for her friends, too."

"Yeah, and I think she did." Farkle said.

Maya and Lollie crawled through the bay window and sat down.

"Oh, thank goodness. Okay, she's all yours." Topanga said.

She put Riley's head onto Lollie's lap.

"She drools a little."

Topanga quickly left.

"Go to school. Brush your teeth. Comb your hair." Lollie said.

"You're not my mother."

"No, it's us." Maya said.

"How did your time with Noah go?"

"It was great. Amazing even."

"Been there, done that."

"Yeah, well you guys won't have to worry about that anymore now that you're brother and sister, you know. You guys have loads to talk about."

"I love talking to him."

"I love talking to him too."

"Why?" Lollie asked.

She continued to stroke Riley's hair.

"Why do I love to talk to him?" Maya questioned.

"Yeah."

"Because he's great and he's funny and witty. All around great guy." Maya looked down at Riley, "But he needs you too."

"For why? For why does he need me?" Riley asked.

"To build him up, to tell his stories to, and make him feel like a hero. You like his stories and he likes yours."

"Yeah."

Lollie stood at the table watching Charlie pace back and forth.

"Will you stop? I'm tired of your pacing."

"I'm pacing? I didn't even know I was moving."

Lollie laughed.

"Where is she?"

"Chill out, she'll be here soon."

Charlie sighed, "You're right." He stood beside Lollie, "So, what's up with you?"

"Not a lot, just a lot of thinking."

He faced her, "About?"

"Your stupid promise that you made me. Like, I really want to remember."

"It's not stupid." He laughed, "It's okay if you don't remember all that matters is that I remember."

"Hi, Charlie."

"Oh, Hi, Riley."

Noah walked with Lucas and headed towards the three.

"Riley, I can't be your brother anymore." Noah said.

"Thank God." Lollie muttered.

"Hey, Parker. Do you think you can pick a better time for this big announcement? Riley and I are gonna go on a date."

"You are? That's great." He smiled.

"No holding hands or talking. Best date ever. I know it's not, but it's what I got." Charlie said.

"Take what you can get, you know?" Lollie told him.

"Those are the rules? Who goes on a date and doesn't talk to each other?" Noah asked.

Maya walked in and sat down.

"Good luck on your date Riley."

Noah turned and sat with Maya.

"Hey Riley, can we go? I like to be there for the previews of coming attractions. When I'm not there for the previews of coming attractions, I feel like I didn't see the whole movie."

Lollie smiled, "Same. I feel like the trailer is almost as good as the movie."

"Right? It's like you are so ready to see the movie for the trailer than the actual movie itself. Does that make sense?" Charlie asked.

"It's does."

"Okay. Let's take you this way." Lucas said.

He grabbed Lollie's hand and they sat with Maya and Noah.

"Good luck on your date Riley." Lollie smiled.

"Is Riley still your sister?" Maya asked.

"No, I have one annoying one at home and one amazing one right here." He poked Lollie's leg.

"Thanks, you're pretty amazing too." Lollie poked him back.

"Then what will you be?" Riley asked.

"He'll be me, because it's me now." Charlie said.

"You have every right, but Riley, I'm only your friend right?"

"Right."

"I also want to be there early to get snacks 'cause if we're not talking or holding hands, I was gonna buy some popcorn and licorice."

"You mean popcorn and gummy worms." Noah said

"I'm not you!"

"Okay!"

"Licorice is so good! With popcorn though? Never had it."

Charlie smiled, "We should try it together someday."

"Hey, you hungry? I'm hungry. You two hungry? I'll get us food. Hey, Lollie come with me."

Lucas grabbed Lollie's hand again and headed towards the counter.

"Say me now." Charlie said, "I break the licorice into little pieces so every time I take a handful of popcorn, I get a surprise. I'm adorable. How are you not seeing this?"

Lollie faced him, "Dude, What kind of licorice?"

"Cherry."

Lollie repeatedly tapped on Lucas's shoulder.

"I love cherry."

"Uh oh." Maya muttered.

"Hey. Your house right? Let's go there and eat or literally anything else." Lucas said.

"Well, Riley is stepping back from Noah. Look at her being her." Farkle said.

Lollie didn't even realize him and Zay even walked in.

"Farkle, stop."

"But I thought she didn't like him like that anymore." Zay said.

"No, Riley's stepping back from Noah because she doesn't-"

Riley grabbed Farkle's arm.

Farkle continued to grab ahold of Lollie's and they walked out.

"Okay, she ends up with Farkle and Lollie. How did we not see that coming?" Charlie said.

"Farkle you don't know what's going on. Stop thinking."

"We know Auggie's right. He's your only brother." Farkle said.

"As rude as it sounds, Mariah and I are his only sisters, he physically doesn't need anymore."

"We've seen the way you look at Auggie, and we've seen the way you look at Noah. It's definitely not the same." Farkle said.

"I think I know my own feelings." She said.

"We don't think you do. I know you and I definitely know Noah. You don't see me looking at him with heart eyes."

An idea popped into her head.

"You're a liar." Farkle said.

"Farkle."

"You're lying to yourself." Lollie said.

"Noah and I don't make a good couple."

"You wouldn't know that because you're suppressing feelings. Don't do that." Lollie said.

"Okay, okay. But what about Maya?"

"We know Maya. She says that she doesn't but we know that she does, but who knows if she's lying." Farkle said, "This isn't about her right now. We're talking about how you feel."

"I don't know when these feelings for Noah came from but you seem to have been hiding them for a while." Lollie said.

"Lollie, how do you even know?"

"He's my brother and he tells me everything. I know things that you don't. Trust me, Riley I know you too."

"What you're thinking is how you really feel." Farkle said.

"I don't care. Maya is one of my best friends. She cares about him and he cares about her too."

"You don't think we know that? You're feelings matter too." Lollie said.

"You can't tell anybody."

"I will, unless you do." Farkle said.

"Why?"

"We're growing up and I don't know how to handle these feelings we're feeling, but I do know that we don't lie to each other. We don't lie to each other, Riley." Farkle said.

"You're right. This is really hard and maybe I just need some time."

Lollie smiled, "We're always here for you."

"Now go on your date." Farkle said.

Charlie walked out and approached the three of them, "Ready?"

"For the previews of coming attractions? Yeah."

The two of them walked off.

"Finn can help with this." Lollie said.

"How?"

"Finn can read people. We get him to draw a picture of Noah and see who he really likes. It worked Lucas."

"It did didn't it."

"We can do it tonight."

Farkle smiled at her and the two walked inside.

"Hey, you guys want to come to our place?"

"You have to help."

"I don't have to do anything."

Lollie and Finn talked upstairs.

"Come on." Lollie dragged.

Finn laughed, "Why?"

"Just help us, please. It would help a friend."

"Who is my friend here?"

"Me. Me. I'm your friend!"

Finn smiled, "Fine. I'll help."

Finn set up his paint set and painted Noah.

Once finished he faced the painting towards the others.

"Done."

Farkle and Lollie tilted their heads.

He had blond roots.

"Why does he have blond roots?" Lollie asked.

"He, uh, he knows. That really matters."

Farkle and Lollie looked at each other.

Farkle shrugged his shoulders.

The answer was right in front of them. The girl with the long blond hair.
