Lollie Parker

Lollie saw Riley standing at her locker as she, herself began leaning on hers.

"Nooooo!" Mr. Matthews said as he ran over picking Riley up and taking her away from Lucas.

"What was that about?" Lollie asked Lucas.

"I have an idea."

"An idea you wanna share?"

"No."

Lollie and Lucas began to take the back door.

"I'm gonna guess who you have heart eyes for."

"Good luck."

"Maya."

"No."

"Riley."

"No."

"Topanga."

"Please stop."

"Ria."

"No."

"I give up. I'm going to just say it's Riley and it's gonna stick there." She said, putting her fingers to her head, "In my brain."

Lucas laughed as Lollie walked towards the door.

As Lollie opened the door Mr. Matthews put force on it.

"Not today, Chachi. Hey Lollie." He said.

"Hey."

"Sir, you've known me all year. You like me, admit it." Lucas said.

"I don't wanna."

"I'm one of the good kids. What are you so afraid of?" Lucas asked.

Lucas pushed against the door allowing Lollie and himself to walk inside.

"Okay." Mr. Matthews said and erased "Belgium" off of the board.

"No!" Farkle said standing up with a Belgium flag.

"Okay, guys. It's the seventh-grade spring fever, which leads to dating, which leads to movies, which leads to popcorn, which leads to putting your hands together in the dark touching popcorn, which leads to holding hands, which leads to that!" Mr. Matthews said pointing at Darby and Yogi who were Eskimo kissing.

"Oh, I am not ready for this." He said.

"Riley, I am begging you, stay in Neverland, okay?" Mr. Matthews begged.

"No growing up." Riley said.

Farkle's hand shot up in the air.

"What do you want?" Mr. Matthews asked Farkle.

"The way I see it, I'm in an interesting position here."

"How do you figure Farkle?"

"Let's approach this as a scientific equation."

"You're scared of Lucas going out with Riley, right?" He asked.

"I told you." Lollie told Lucas.

"But you're still wrong." He mocked her.

"Oh, does it show?" He asked.

"Yeah, He's good-looking and athletic."

"He's thirty-six!" He said pointing to Lucas.

"Give your daughter to me. I'll Give you four oxen and my best milking cow." Farkle said.

Mr. Matthews's smile grew.

"Are you actually thinking about this?" Riley asked.

"It's a good deal." He said.

"I will decide who I go on my first date with at such time as somebody asks me." Riley explained.

Lollie turned around and saw Lucas's hand in the air and she shook her head and slouched in her seat.

"Why'd you raise your hand?" Lollie asked.

"Bathroom."

"You're such a liar. If you like Riley it's no big deal."

But deep, deep, down in Lollie's young soul. She really really cared.

"It wasn't for Riley."

"Then why did you raise your hand because I know it wasn't for the bathroom." Lollie raised her voice.

In the year she's known Lucas he was genuinely nice to her along with Farkle and Riley, she didn't want to be lied to. Not by then.

Lucas saw how her breathing had changed.

She sat down on the ground and he soon followed.

"Lollie, I need you to calm down okay." Lucas instructed and he grabbed her hand.

Lollie held her head back and continued to hold his hand.

"My mom told me I had anxiety didn't she?"

"Yeah."

"It's okay, I'm okay."

Lollie shut her eyes and rested her head on his shoulder.

"Hey, let's have a movie night." Lucas said.

"When?"

"Tonight."

"Sure." She smiled, wiping her face, "We can watch it at my place at seven."

"Good."

Lucas stood up and helped Lollie to her feet.

"Now, I've gotta go to the office and call Finn."

"I'll see ya." Lucas said.

Lollie nodded and went on his way and Lucas went to find Farkle.

Lucas huffed. He hoped he would never have to see her that way again.

Lollie sat in Svorski's with her siblings eating whatever was in front of them.

"Mom really wants to work part-time here." Noah said.

"There's nothing wrong with that." Mariah said.

"I would work here. Are you guys going anywhere today?" Lollie asked.

"I'm meeting up with Jacob."

"The more you mention him the more I don't believe he a person, maybe a frog but definitely not a real person." Noah said.

"I don't care. Where are gonna be?" Lollie asked.

"Football practice."

"Mom and Dad?"

"Date night I think. Why do you want to know?" Ria asked.

"I'm watching a movie and I want to be alone when I watch it." She lied. Sorta.

"Oh, well, sure that okay." Noah said.

"Really?" Lollie asked.

"Yeah sure."

Bailey came over and squatted in front of them.

"Hey, you guys can go now. She hired me on the spot."

"Congratulations." Lollie said hugging her mom.

The three got up and left bumping into Riley and Maya.

"Hey, Lollie."

"Hey, Riley."

And that was it.

"You and Riley are friends?" Ria asked.

"Somewhat."

Lollie had slipped into her pajamas and sat in the living room with three movies in front of her.

Seconds turned to minutes and minutes to hours.

After waiting for god knows how long Lollie slipped on some shoes and headed to the train station.

Lollie stood on the train holding onto the pole.

She looked around and saw Maya, Farkle, Riley in Lucas' lap.

Lollie put her head against the pole and watched whatever was happening to unfold before her eyes.

"You know those moments that you were talking about that we're going to remember forever?" Riley asked.

"Yeah?" He questioned.

And right before Lollie's eyes, Riley grabbed Lucas's face and kissed him.

Lollie shifted her eyes, tears slightly coming out as she saw Farkle run towards Maya, kissing her hand.

The train came to a stop and Lollie didn't really care where she was she got off.

But not before some saw her blue hair exiting the train.

Lollie laid on the couch in the living room with Baloo by her side.

She had tear stains on her face not bothering to do anything about it she just laid there.

Her eye shifted towards the door when someone knocked on it.

She wiped her face and Baloo moved, she stood up and opened the door.

"Movie night." He smiled, "I bought a movie I thought you would like and a box set of this old tv I watch and I thought you would like it too."

He looked down at her and saw her dried tear stains.

"Have you've been crying?"

"I think you should go home."

Lollie shut the door but didn't hear it close.

"Why? I bought the box set." He said.

"Why were you late?"

"I had other plans."

Lollie let out a breathy laugh. She rested her hand on his face. She then took her thumb and wiped it over his lip.

"Like kissing Riley Matthews?"

Lucas sighed and Lollie turned her back and headed upstairs.

Lucas quickly followed her.

"You know you could have told me the truth in the first place instead of having me wait for hours for you to come." Lollie said sitting in her chair, "You know how stupid I felt waiting for you to come?"

"I didn't think she was going to kiss me."

"That's not the point." Lollie said, she sighed, "You asked her on the date, right?"

"Lollie-"

"You lied. You told me didn't like her."

"I don't."

"You asked her out."

"I did but, I did it to take my mind off things."

"I don't believe you."

Lollie turned away from him and wiped her face.

"You didn't think she was going to kiss you? But your moment will be your moment." Lollie said.

She was gonna be bold and by being bold she might lose a friend or two.

She stood from her seat and walked towards Lucas but before she could do anything he kissed her.

She backed up first.

The two of them stayed silent.

Lollie grabbed him by his forearm and kissed him again.

But this time, ever so slowly.
