~~~~~~FLASHBACK, BECAUSE I WANTED TO~~~~~

~3rd Person POV~

(Y/n) stands in her home, hot sweat dripping down her temples, making her hair stick to her face in an uncomfortable way. She sighs, exhausted after a gruelling day of housekeeping.

Well, more like castle-keeping. A HUGE castle. And now this, cleaning her house.

She groans, rubbing her sore shoulders. I'm soo hot.... I think I'll take a bath.... in the river cuz I don't have a bath tub.... in the cold river... yep.

The e/c, h/c girl sighs as she grabs her towel and walks to a secretive waterfall that has a nice pool of water underneath it. Ok, so not exactly a river, but close enough.

She trudges begrudgingly, thinking about how crappy her day was.

She cleaned the floors, the windows, the beds, dusted everything, and the worst part was that Loki was off-planet for something.

It just made the whole day boring and difficult and exhausting. Difficult and exhausting (Y/n) could handle, but boring? Boring was pure, agonizing torture!

Uhg, just thinking about made her want to collapse on the ground and scream.

"GAHHHHHH!!!!!"

(Y/n) looks down and smiles at her goat, who followed her all this way.

"BAAAA!!!"

She then looks at her sheep who had also followed.

"BAA!" (Y/n) replies humorously. She continues her way until she reaches the water.

She surveys the area to make certain that no one is around. Satisfied that no one is near, she takes off her clothes and slinks into the cool water.

She gasps at the cold, but sighs when she gets used to it. This is soo nice....

Little did she know, Loki had arrived back on Asgard and was looking everywhere for her. He looked everywhere in the castle, at her house, in town, but couldn't find her.

He was starting to worry when he heard laughing near a way off the path. (Y/n) had finished washing, and was changing into her fresh clothes, her back to him.

Now, I forgot to mention that the pool/waterfall was surrounded by bushes and trees, so she couldn't see him. Her bare back was the only thing he could see from his vantage point. Loki wisely waited until she had finished changing, and slowly crept up to her.

She was mumbling to herself, and didn't notice him coming up behind her. Loki chuckled lightly, making her stop.

"Loki? I thought you weren't coming back till tomorrow!" She says, excited.

"Why-ahh!!" She yells as Loki shoves her into the pool.

She frantically waves her arms in an attempt to stay upright, but gravity wins. She bellyflops into the water, drenching her clean clothes. (Y/n) breaks the surface, gasping in rage.

"LOKI!" She clambers out of the water and chases him. Loki grins wickedly, snorting with laughter.

"I"LL GET YOU!" She screams, just as he stands in front of the pool.

She runs full speed towards him and tackles him. Well, tackles right through him.

She face plants into the water again, because Loki did his little trick.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!!" He bellows, "You're just like Thor!!!"

But, little did he know, the goat had snuck up behind him. The goat rammed into his butt and knocked him into the cold water.

Loki flailed for a second before splatting into the water beside (Y/n). He broke the surface, sputtering and glaring daggers at the goat.

"I'll kill that goat!" He yells, but (Y/n) stops him by jumping on him, causing him to sink under the water.

She lets him back up right away though, and whispers, "Not if I have anything to say about it."

He grins, but finds treading water with his heavy wet coat hard, so he takes off his shirt, and tosses it aside.

"GAH!" She squeaks, averting her gaze.

"What?" He smirks.

"Y-you're-e, y-you don't h-have a.."

"Have a what?"

"A-a.."

"A shirt on? Is that what you mean?"

"Y-yes. Put it back on!" She squeals, still not looking at him.

"You want me to drown?"

"You wouldn't drown," She says rolling her eyes, and then she accidentally looks at his chest. She turns the deepest shade of red possible.

He smiles, "Cat got your tongue?"

She blushes more, swimming to the opposite side to get out.

"Where are you going?" He asks, smile dropping, as he swims over to where she stands, gazing at her with his gorgeous blue (yes, blue) eyes.

She looks down at him, blush still on her face. Her wet clothes stick to her in all the right places, showing off her body, and this time it's his turn to blush vividly.

"Loki, this isn't proper," she says, averting her gaze.

He smirks, "Who said anything about being proper?"

"Loki, you're a prince. You have certain responsibilities..." (Y/n) frowns.

"(Y/n).."

"No, Loki, listen. You're supposed, supposed to marry someone who actually is worth something. I'm just a-a maid. Odin would never approve."

"(Y/n)!" Loki demands, and she stares down into his eyes.

His chest is out of the water, and he looks so dang good as he stares back at her.

"(Y/n), I don't care. I have everything I could ever need right here in front of me. You are more important than any title or all the riches on Asgard!"

She huffs, but is silenced by his serious countenance.

"I-I love you, (Y/n)..."

She looks at him with no expression, but then smiles shyly, "I love you too . . . more then anything."

His face slowly blooms into the most brilliant smile in all existence, his eyes crinkling in the corners. She smiles too, and it's the prettiest sight Loki has ever seen.

He straightens, as she leans down and kneels at the edge of the pool. The air is thick with heat, as everything seems to slow down.

She leans closer to him, as he breaths shakily.

Their eyes close as the space between them grows smaller.

Then, like a beautiful melody, they come together, lips connecting in a passionate embrace. She runs her hands through his soft, damp hair, and his hands roam across her back, finding the button on her shirt.

Loki pulls her into the pool with him, and they continue entwining and roaming their hands across one another's body.
