I watch anxiously as I sit in the middle of the long couch in the Grandmaster's viewing area. Ugh, I'm so nervous and for so many reasons. 

I know that I spoke to Loki about life on Sakaar and agreed to marry him, but I've been thinking... we literally just met two weeks ago, and we might be rushing into things. Like really rushing... And now with Thor and his gladiator-ness. So much stress and now we're postponing the wedding. And if there is a possibility of getting off this planet, I think we should take that opportunity. 

I stop thinking about it and focus on what's happening.

Thor just entered the arena, and everyone seems to hold their breath as we await the champion. A huge, roaring, green monstrosity comes out of the other door.

Loki pales, jolts up and moves back from the arena. "I've got to get off this planet."

The crowd roars loudly as Thor suddenly smiles broadly.

"YESSSSS!" 

The crowd grows silent.

"HEY! HEY, WE KNOW EACH OTHER! HE'S A FRIEND FROM WORK!" 

Grandmaster looks at me and Loki in shock. I shake my head, "I don't think they're friends, they're always fighting..." I explain as Loki nods.

We turn to watch again

"So much has happened since I last saw you. Lost my hammer, like yesterday so that's still pretty fresh. Loki's alive, can you believe it? Look, look he's over there! HEY LOKI, LOOK WHO IT IS!"

Loki shuffles uncomfortably, clearing his throat nervously. At this spectacle I chuckle lightly, earning a glare from him.

"Hey, Banner!"

"No Banner. Only Hulk!" Hulk yells.

"Wha-what do you mean? What are you-" Thor says, scrambling backwards.

I turn to Loki, "this isn't gonna go good.."

The fight begins for real, but I can't follow it well. 

Thor's hit, Hulk's hit, Hulk's hit, Hulk's hit, Thor's hit, Hulk's hit, Hulk's hit, Hulk's hit, HULK'S DOWN!?

Thor take the advantage, and tries to calm him down so he goes back to Banner. But I know it's not gonna work.

"Sun's... real low...time..." 

"What's he saying?" I ask. Everyone in the room just shrugs.

Just as I think Hulk will turn into Banner, he grabs Thor's arm and whams him into the ground over and over and over. I wince, but Loki... well, Loki's reaction is odd and kinda mean.

"YES! YES! THAT'S HOW IT FEELS! THAT'S HOW IT FEELS! HURTS DOESN'T IT!?" 

"..."

"..."

"..."

"Wait, that's happened to you?! How is that possible?!" I suddenly ask, ignoring the fact that Thor is getting so whooped right now.

"Well, when I tried to take over Earth, again not entirely me. Anyways, Hulk did that exact thing to me, and it was p-"

"Embarrassing?"

"I was going with painful, but yes, that too."

"Guys! Shhh for a second! Watch the game!" Grandmaster practically yells, but he never really yells, he just kinda raises his voice a little. 

I try to watch the game, but find my thoughts straying to other things. 

I just think its odd how Loki and I clicked so easily and so fast. I've never gotten along so well with someone before. It just strikes me as odd, very odd. And it's almost like I know him, but when I think about it, the feeling disappears. 

I look to the arena, and see Thor being smashed in the face by Hulk. A certain clarity comes over his mind, and out of curiosity, I try to see his thoughts.

{{{ "Remember this place..." Odin's voice echoes through Thor's head as well as mine. Odin is speaking to him, that's so cool.

Suddenly I find myself standing behind Thor in the grassy clearing, and Odin stands before us.

"Thor, the hammer was never the source of your powers. It is inside you, and it always has been." Odin encourages.

"And remember, Asgard is not a place, its a people." 

Thor disappears, but I stay behind and Odin comes to me.

"(Y/n), can you ever forgive me?" He says, kneeling down. 

"Wha-what do you mean?" I ask fearfully, a memory of heartbreak and abandonment in the back of my mind.

"I wronged you, I see that now. Please, forgive me." He looks up at me with sorrow in his eye.

"What are you talking about?" 

I have no idea why he is telling me this, I never even met him before. But still, his words seem to have a deep impact and even though I don't understand them, my subconscious screams out in pain, and I feel bitterness and resentment towards him. I start crying uncontrollably.

"I don't understand!"

"All will be revealed in time, though, I fear it will be painful for you and for Loki."

"What does this have to do with Loki? Please, can't you tell me what it is?" I beg, tears coursing down my cheeks.

" When you are reunited, all will come to light."

"The heck are you talking about!??!!" I scream at him, dashing towards him.

He disappears too }}}, and I find myself back on the couch, with Loki staring at me in concern. 

I look into the arena in time to see an electrified Thor whooping Hulk's butt. But before Thor can finish it, he shakes violently and collapses. I turn to the Grandmaster, and see him holding the device that can electrocute all the contenders. Hulk jumps high into the air and prepares to smash Thor with all his might.

I look away before it happens, but from the cheers I know that Hulk ended the fight.

"Where were you?" Loki asks me when we're in the hallway.

"What do you mean?" I ask innocently.

"Don't lie, I know you went somewhere in your mind, and it evidently affected you."

"I don't- it's-it's weird, and I'll tell you later, okay?" 

He nods and takes my hand in his. I smile as we walk down these alien halls.

I'll figure it all out, I know it.
