Mischief-Part Five

Loki is a hilarious prankster, but, unfortunately I am not. I just let Loki do his thing, and laughed  whenever he scared the crap out of random people. But, after an hour or so, we grew bored. And now we're sitting against the wall of a random hall.

"So, not much to do 'round here..."

"I know, isn't it detestable?"

"Yep."

"There usually is a war going on; no one was ever bored, we didn't have the time."

"Yep."

"What did you do on Midgard when you were bored?"

"Netflix. Food. Bath. Sleep. Repeat"

"Netflix?"

"Watch movies and shows, you know, the normal things people do on plain old planet Earth."

I turn to Loki, "Wonder where Thor is. And if Hela has taken over Asgard. Think we'll ever find out?"

"No, probably not."

"Meh."

I sigh, and stare at the wall opposite of us. A girl, Valkyrie or 142 or something is her name, walks past us, ignoring our existence. She steps over our feet and continues on her way. She also takes a swig from a bottle.

"This place has officially lost its appeal. There's nothing to do!" I complain, still looking at the wall.

"Mmhmm, that's true... We could always watch the games..."

"Hmm, let me think... People, not of their own volition mind you, forced to fight others to the death... Not really my definition of 'entertainment'." I half-heartedly joke.

"It wouldn't be boring at least." He points out, and I can't help but agree, so I nod.

Uh, this is going to take some getting used to.

Yep.

~Time Skip of Nine Days (because I don't want to write out a whole lot of boring)~

Your POV

I wake to the smell of a grapefruit. How is their a grapefruit on Sakaar?

Getting up, I spot Loki leaning casually against the wall of my room peeling a grapefruit.

"How," I ask, moving towards him, "did you acquire that?"

"Shh, it's a secret." His eyes twinkle, as he presses his finger to his lips.

"But-"

"Shh, it's a secret. It is a special occasion after all."

"What occasion?"

Loki clears his throat nervously and looks down into my eyes.

"Dearest (Y/n), I acknowledge the fact that we have only just met ten or so days ago, but I cannot deny what lies in my heart. I wish to ask you a question that could change the course of our fates forever. Prithee, will you, (Y/n) (L/n), accept my offer of holy matrimony?"

"Say what?"

"Marry me." He says, looking intensely down upon me.

I just met him, but already I know he is my soulmate. Ever since meeting him I've been calmer, and happier. I know this choice is important and shouldn't be taken lightly, but I don't need long to reply.

"Yes, yes! A thousand times yes!"

Loki looks at me like 'really?', and I retract my statement and turn it into a "heck yeah!"

Smiling, we embrace.

"Wait, how are we going to get married? Do they even do that kind of thing here?"

"Yes, I asked Grandmaster and he said he would do it! All we need to do is pick a time and place."

"Tomorrow?" I venture, "Why put it off?"

"Exactly what I thought you would say! I already asked him and he said that tomorrow would work perfectly." He whispers in my ear, as I lean my back against his chest.

"I can't wait." I whisper back, turning to graze my lips against his cheek.

"Now, get out so I can have a bath!"

~~mid afternoon-ish~~

I've already picked out a dress, and I told Loki that he has to wear that black suit I saw him in when we first met. He agreed.

My dress is simple, but stunning. (I'll let you imagine it yourselves, kay?)

I told Loki that no one else should be present, because I want it to be personal, and we don't really know anyone else so it'd just be awkward if anybody else was there.

As I lie in bed, I think of what the future will hold for me.

~next day~

I woke up excited. I did my daily routine, and put on my wedding dress. I practically ran to the Grandmaster's chambers and see Loki sitting on a couch with bunch of other people. I join them and make light conversation until the Grandmaster will see us.

I'm distracted momentarily by a dude in a chair who looks suspiciously like Thor. Wait a sec, that is Thor!

I nudge Loki, just as Thor realizes us.

"Loki? Loki! Loki, brother! You gotta get me out of here, tell him!" He shouts at us.

Loki and I go over to him, "It's been two weeks! What happened?"

"Two weeks? I only just got here!"

"Time works differently on Sakaar. If it didn't, I'd be, well I'd be millions of years old instead of...." Grandmaster trails off, leaving us to wonder how old he thinks he is.

"So you know this man? This-this lord of thunder?" He changes the subject.

"god of thunder," Thor says, correcting the Grandmaster.

"Loki's my brother!" Says Thor

"Really?" Questions Grandmaster

"Adopted." Loki and I say at the same time. I turn to him, and we fist-bump. We are so in sync!

"Is he a fighter?"

"Take off these restraints and I'll show you!" Thor growls.

"Ah, so, so feisty. That's what I call a contender! Ok Sparkles, this way."

This is not good! With the Grandmaster distracted we'll never get married!

You should be thinking about how Thor is totts gonna die. Or at least become injured in some way.

I'd rather think about Loki. But wait, if Thor's here, maybe we can all escape this awful place together!

I walk with Loki to the Grandmaster's viewing area.

"I'm going to visit Thor, wanna come?"

"How?" I ask.

"Magic."

"Sure, I'll come. If it isn't too difficult for you," I tease.

He snorts, and suddenly I'm facing Thor. He notices us and sits down.

"Hurts, doesn't it. Being lied too." Loki starts the conversation off.

"If you cared, you'd actually be here." Picking up a stone he chucks it at us. I jerk to the side, but Loki stays still and let's the rock go through him.

"Of course I'm not actually here? Look at all the filth, this place is disgusting!" Loki explains as Thor scoffs.

"Uh, hi. Glad you're not dead." I smile and wave awkwardly at him.

"What are you doing here? I thought we left you on earth?"

"Uh, no. I came with you in the Bi-frost thingy. Yeah, I've been here with Loki for two weeks. How's Hela?"

Thor frowns, Loki does too.

"Oh, still pretty fresh. The whole hammer thing, and it's still that day for you. Sorry, time thing's got me all screwed up." I wince.

"Good luck in the fight! I hope you don't die!" I shout to him as Loki and I leave.

I guess the wedding will have to wait till all this is settled. Urg, stupid Thor and his dumb timing!
