Thor has spent literally every second of the day decorating for my big baby reveal today. "Loki, he needs to take a break. God or not we still get tired." Loki laughs.

"Alright, alright." He walks over to Thor. "Brother, it's time to rest for a bit. We're excited too, but you must relax. Go eat." Thor sighs and nods as he heads to the kitchen.

I feel a small stabbing in my stomach. I wince, but act fine once Loki turns to me. "Everything alright, dear?" I smile and nod. "I'll be back. I'm gonna go talk to Thor." I nod and watch as he walks away.

I quickly run to my room. I shut the door and lock it. I walk over to the mirror and reveal a bruised stomach.

This baby will kill me.

Tears fall from my eyes. I think back on what the nurse said. "You're body isn't strong enough to carry. You've been through a lot of physical pain. Continuing with carrying this baby could lead to death for two reasons: one, all the trauma your body has been through—" She pauses for a moment.

"Two, it is part Frost Giant: who grows to be bigger than yourself. Y/N, there is no 'if' in this situation because you will die when you have this baby. It'll start with bruising, then lack of nutrition to your body because it will all go to the baby. Take this, it'll help with the pain."She continues.

The doorknob rattles bringing me back to reality. I cover my stomach. "Y/N, are you in here?" Heimdall speaks from the other side.

"Yes, one moment please." I unlock the door and Heimdall enters. "Your dress is ready. The seamstress is sending it here as we speak." I smile. "Thank you, Heimdall." He nods and leaves.

Thank Gods he didn't notice anything wrong.

I take out a small bottle that the nurse had given me. It was a bright pink liquid. I wince as I get another stabbing feeling. "Here goes nothing." I say.

I take the cap off and swallow the liquid fast. It burns as it goes down my throat. I cough and stumble back. Still coughing I fall onto the bed. After a few minutes of coughing my finally catch my breath and straighten myself out.

What the hell?

The seamstress enters the room and helps me get dressed. The dress is white with green and gold trimmings. The sleeves cut off in the middle and hang off my shoulders. After two hours of getting ready, I head to the party.

Loki walks over to me. "You look beautiful, Y/N." I smile and kiss his cheek. "Thank you." He takes my hand and guides me to the dance floor.

We both danced until Thor taps his glass to make a toast. Loki and I both head up to the head table with Thor.

"A toast to Loki and Y/N. We have gathered here on this fine night to celebrate a new life. Soon we will be honored to have a child of the Goddess of the Purple Flame running around here." Everyone cheers and hugs each other with joy.

As I watch the crowd with all their excitement my stomach endures a sharp pain and I fall to the ground. Loki catches my head before I hit it. Heimdall rushes to our side.

"I found this in your room, along with a nurse trying to get away. You're gonna wanna hear what she has to confess." Heimdall says. I look at him confused.

What? Confess?

Oh no. No no no!

Loki looks at the little bottle that once had a bright pink liquid. "Get the guests out of here and bring her in." He shouts. Thor gives his apologies and says bye to everyone that leaves. Heimdall brings the nurse out.

"Wait..you..aren't you that nurse who did my checkup?" I say weakly. She has a wicked smile on her face and nods.

"What did you do to me? What was that liquid." I try to sit up but the pain keeps me down.

"Moving will only make it worse. You two will never be able to catch a break. We're coming for you. We'll never let you rest until you pay for what your kind has done. You have no defense against us. Thanos is coming." She laughs wickedly.

No!

Heimdall swipes her head clean off with his sword. "We need to evacuate Asgard, now!" I scream and cry as I hold your stomach. "My baby!"

I cry as Loki embraces me. Tears falling from his eyes as well. "Shh Y/N. We need to leave, we can grieve when we're safe." My cries echo in the ballroom.

This is all my fault.

Heimdall and Thor evacuate the Asgardians to Midgard while Loki and I quickly pack. I head over to the Bifrost. Loki nods at Heimdall to signal for the bridge to open.

"I'm not going." I say as I use my powers to shove all three of them into the bridge and then destroy the chamber.

I love you guys... so much.

"Y/N no!" Loki yells and then disappears. I fall to my knees and cry. The chamber begins to break and fall apart. The rainbow bridge is slowly tilting over the edge of Asgard. I take a deep breath in as the Bifrost collapses, taking me down with it. I fall into complete nothingness.

I'm so sorry, Loki.

I failed you.
