The fight went on, Loki and Jamie taking on the Minutemen and Sylvie taking on Renslayer. B-15 was already taken out, but the other three managed. There were some close calls, but they eventually came out on top.

"You're a child of the Time-Keepers too, Sylvie. We can talk," the Time-Keeper in the middle said.

"Oh, yeah?" Sylvie challenged then threw her sword at him.

The sword cut the head of that Time-Keeper
off and they all laughed until they seemed to drop limp. The head rolled over to the three.

"Wait," Sylvie said.

She picked it up and they saw it was just a machine.

"Don't," Loki pleaded.

"Fake. Mindless androids," Sylvie breathed.

"It never stops," Jamie remarked in realization.

Loki panted before asking, "Then who created the TVA?"

"I thought this was it," Sylvie said, throwing the head in frustration.

"I'm sorry, Syl. You helped me with my past. I wish I could've helped you in return," Jamie replied.

Sylvie smiled sadly at her before saying, "Thanks."

Sylvie then looked at Loki, who just nodded to her. She returned it before walking away from the two. Jamie had her head bowed in sadness that they came so close yet so far.

"Jamie..." Loki called.

She turned to him and he approached her until they were inches apart.

"I have to tell you something," he started, hesitated, then said, "We will figure this out."

"How do you know that?" Jamie asked.

"Because, uh...Well, back on Lamentis..." he stammered then tried again, "This is new for me. Um..."

She smiled, took his hand, then whispered, "You don't have to say it. It's new for me too."

Loki smiled and brought his other hand to her cheek, caressing it. She leaned into his touch before looking into his eyes. She then noticed he was leaning in, so she did the same.

"Look out!" Sylvie shouted.

Then Loki grunted in pain then started melting away. Jamie was in shock until she saw Renslayer with a melt stick.

"No," she said as tears filled her eyes and fell to her knees.

Then Renslayer about struck her until Sylvie grabbed it and made it to where she had Renslayer in surrender as she threatened to melt her away.

"Do it," Renslayer told her.

"No," Sylvie shook her head, Jamie joined her with a stone cold face, then Sylvie continued, "You're gonna tell us everything."

Then Loki woke up in what looked like a field of some sorts.

"Jamie?" he called then wondered aloud, "Is this Hel? Am I dead?"

"Not yet. But you will be unless you come with us," a voice said.

Loki looked to see different versions of himself. There were some who were older, younger, or about his age.

"Jamie was right," Loki commented.

A/N They tricked me into thinking Loki died! AGAIN! What the heck?! And who created the freaking TVA?! I guess we'll find out in the next couple of episodes.
