They went outside the tent to see where they were, confirming Jamie's fears.

"You idiot! This is Lamentis 1!" the Variant shouted.

"I don't know what that means!" Loki replied.

A huge chunk crashed beside them, making them

"The moon that planet is about to crash into and destroy," Jamie replied then they ran as she continued, "Of all of the apocalypses saved on that TemPad, this is the worst."

"Exactly! No one makes it off here!" the Variant said then shouted while pulling them back, "Watch out!"

"I'm sorry, madam. Didn't have time to scan the brochure," Loki remarked, they all hid under a vehicle, then mentioned, "By the way, I thought you wanted us dead."

"I don't know where you hid that TemPad, but it could be with either one of you. And if either one of you blow up, it blows up, and then I end up blown up," the Variant remarked.

"She does have a point," Jamie responded.

"There!" the Variant pointed and they all ran.

"So we're a team now?" Loki asked.

"Oh, God, no!" the Variant answered.

They continued dodging debris for a while.

"Get down!" Loki told her as he got her out of the way.

"Didn't need your help!" the Variant stated.

"Yes, because you clearly saw that coming!" Jamie remarked.

"You two are so weird!" Loki commented.

"Hey!" Jamie objected.

They then ran for a shack and Jamie and Loki stepped to the side to catch their breaths. Then the Variant stepped toward him and put her hand on the side of his face, trying to take control of him. This made them look at her in disbelief.

"What are you doing?" Loki asked.

"What are you doing?" the Variant repeated.

"You trying to enchant me? It won't work," he said.

"Why? Because you're a magician?" the Variant remarked.

"No, because my mind is too strong," Loki stated.

"Fine! Maybe your girlfriend's isn't!" the Variant responded.

Then she tried to enchant Jamie, making Loki gasp quietly. But Jamie just smirked, confusing the Variant.

"I may not have similar powers to you or Loki, but I know a lot about enchantment and have made my mind strong enough to avoid it," Jamie said.

"You continue to impress me," Loki commented as the Variant stopped.

"Thank you," Jamie smiled slyly.

The Variant sharply removed her hand from Jamie and walked a little away from them before she drew her weapons, to which Jamie and Loki did the same.

"Look. Are we really about to do this here? Again?" Loki asked.

"What do you propose instead?" the Variant wondered.

"I don't know. A truce?" Loki suggested.

"Something tells me she wouldn't be up for that," Jamie said.

"You would be right," the Variant responded.

"Listen, neither of us is getting off this rock if we can't turn that TemPad on," Loki pointed out.

"Where do you have it hidden?" the Variant demanded.

"In my heart," Loki remarked sarcastically.

"Well, then, I'll cut it out," she threatened, making Jamie step in front of him protectively.

"Nice. Very droll. Lovely," Loki remarked, gestured to Jamie he was good so she backed down, then pointed out, "Okay, yes, I do have the TemPad and it could be with either of us, but we're not gonna get very far if you keep trying to kill us."

"You're both full of it because you two need me to get that recharged. That's the only reason you saved me out there," the Variant pointed out.

"Maybe. Yeah. I mean, sure. That too," Jamie nodded.

"Or we could slaughter each other here in this abandoned mining shack. What do you say?" Loki continued.

"Good for me," the Variant said then stated, "The plan you two interrupted was years in the making. Years!"

"Okay, got it," Loki replied as Jamie nodded.

"And as soon as I turn that TemPad back on, I'm going straight back to the TVA to finish what I started," the Variant replied.

"Good," Loki said.

"I'll kill you two then," she stated.

"Or we'll kill you," Loki followed up.

She scoffed as she headed for the exit.

"Where're you going?" Loki asked.

"There's power somewhere on this moon. We just need enough to travel through inter-dimensional time and space," the Variant pointed out then commented as she exited the shack, "Jeez!"

"Yep," Loki nodded.

"You two are worse than me and Mobius," Jamie said.

"Have you seen me and Thor?" Loki asked.

"Here and there. But still, if we don't get along, then we will die. And even though I can die happy after just meeting the God of Mischief, I still wanna live," she said.

He chuckled a bit and said, "I do too. But I can say that I can die happy too after meeting you."

He then walked after the Variant as Jamie smiled to herself.

"Probably best we don't flirt during a world's end," she said to herself before following them.
