"Push love, Push!" I encouraged my wife.

My wife who's brow was dropping in sweat and hair all damp took a deep breath and screwing her face in pain she screamed and nearly broke my hand as she pushed.

I wasn't in this much pain when I gave birth I thought to myself.

It was all worth it though when my wife lay back in relief and the healer handed me over my child.

"Congratulations my lord, you have a daughter." The healer  smiled and then bowed and left us to our enjoyment.

"She's lovely." I smiled looking at my daughter's lovely emerald green eyes.

"She has wings, tail and dog ears!" My wife exclaimed.

"My last child was a horse with four legs, I can assure you, this is nothing like her." I said.

I looked at my child's light blue ears and very pale skin. She was definitely part Frost Giant.

My child also had an white tail ending with a blue tuft edged with black which looked like her tiny wings poking out between her back.

Looking up at her mother my daughter held a hand up towards her face and giggled.

"What shall we name her?" I asked.

My wife sighed. "I do not know. But she is pretty and I want a pretty name for her, how about Light?"

I nodded. "Bright name that."

Watching my daughter watching the flames in the hearth near the bed I smiled more. Then looked in shock as she made a little blue flame in her hands.

"Perhaps Flamelight would be more adequate." I asked looking at the light dancing around her bright eyes from the flame.
