Market Place
Unlike almost ever other day you were actually up early the next morning. Who knew you had it in you? You didn't know what to wear so you just did your hair and makeup while leaving your pajamas on, the best outfit ever in your opinion. You sat on the couch wrapped in the giant handmade blanket/quilt you brought with you from earth while doing your homework you also brought with you from earth. Your teachers had excused you from the lectures and classes while you were away but not the homework, so rude.
Loki came into your room to find you wrapped in your quilt sitting on the couch surrounded by papers spilling off the coffee table with your laptop open as you had your earphones in listening to music. The most teenage human thing there was. You didn't notice Loki come up to you because you were to busy listening to your music.
Loki placed a gentle hand on your shoulder to get your attention and you jumped a little at it not expecting it. You looked up at Loki and when you realized it was him, gave him a bright smile.
"Hey." You greeted him happily taking out your earphones and turning off your music. "What's up?"
"What are you doing up so early love?" Loki asked you with an amused smile playing on his face. "I was expecting you to still be fast asleep."
"I was exited for the day." You told him brightly, "so I got up early. I also have tons of homework I need to get done." Gesturing at the overflowing coffee table. "So I decided to get to work on that. What are you doing in my room if you thought I was asleep?" You asked him teasingly.
"I wanted to make sure you were still ok." Loki told you sitting down by you on the couch. Silly overprotective trickster didn't think you were ok without him for twenty four hours, he was becoming more and more overprotective by the day. Especially now that you were on some strange planet with everyone being way more powerful than you. Natasha taught you how to fight and defend for yourself so on earth Loki was still overprotective but not this overprotective. It had him on edge knowing that you were human in a world full of powerful Asgardians that could take you down easily. It also didn't help that he didn't trust your safety with anyone but himself.
"I'm ok silly trickster." You told him teasingly with a bright smile, "I won't do anything stupid..." Loki gave you a look that told you he did not believe that, "I won't do anything too stupid." You corrected.

After you picked out a dress for the day Loki braided your hair and took you to breakfast.
"Loki!" You heard a female voice call when you were situated at the table with Loki, Thor, Jane, and Thor's friends who you had just barley met and were just introduced to. You and Loki turned to see a lady with long blond hair wearing a lime green dress that matched her eyes perfectly.
"Amora." Loki replied back happily standing up and going over to meet her. She came up to him wrapping her arms around him in a hug. Loki never let anyone touch him. He valued his personal space to much for him to allow anyone to give him a hand shake, a hug was completely out of the question for almost anyone. Minus his mother, you and sometimes, if he was in an extremely good mood, Thor. It had been weeks after meeting Loki that he would even allow you to get close enough for you to touch him.
So no, you weren't jealous of some random lady that Loki had never told you about getting to hug him. He was thousands of years old, of corse he would have some friends.
"Great," Lady Sif mumbled under her breath glaring at Amora, "who let her out?"
"I was under the impression that we all had to be on our best behavior." Hogun said joining in with Sif, "letting her be around Loki at the Harvest Ball is a recipe for disaster."
"My brother has mellowed out since the day he left for Midgard." Thor cut in defending his brother, "I trust Loki would do no harm during this Ball especially with Lady (y/n) here." Everyone shared a glance at you before going back to their conversation.
"It's not Loki I'm worried about." Hogun corrected Thor, "it's Amora."
"I'm going to have to agree with Hogun and Sif on this one Thor." Fandral joined in, "you do remember what happened last time the two of them got together? She's a bad influence in him."
Thor sighed in defeat. Apparently his friends were making extremely valid points though you had a hard time fallowing along. All you got was whatever happened before when Loki and Amora were in the same room together was not very good to say the least. "I'm sure Lady (y/n) will keep Loki in his place." Thor decided gesturing to you. Everyone at the table looked back at you sizing you up as you drank your glass of Orange juice. You gulped down a sip before putting your glass down not liking all the attention on you.
"Are you sure a little mortal can keep Loki in place?" Volstagg asked violently slamming his beer mug down on the table with a thud. Why he was drinking beer in the morning you would never know nor understand. "No offense." He told you. You waved him off telling him you were in no way offended. Loki was a lot stronger than you were even without his magical powers. There was no way in Valhalla you could physically stop him from doing something. Loki could bench press a semi truck, you cloud bench press one hundred pounds on a good day. Loki would never hurt you though, you knew that. That didn't mean you could stop him from causing mischief.
"Loki would do nothing that would get his Lady into any real trouble while she is here." Thor told his friends, "he cares for her to much."
Thor's friends looked skeptical at that statement but non of them rebuked it while you were there.
"I still don't like that she's here." Lady Sif told the table at hand. "Especially with the peace of the nine realms at stake. Who knows what she will try."

Loki came back to the table after Amora got called to go somewhere else. He sat down by you digging into his breakfast. He didn't eat as much as Thor, Volstagg, Hogun, or even Fandral did but he ate way more than you and Jane did. Both him and Thor had to reassure all of Thor's friends multiple time that you nor Jane where just trying to be lady like with how little you ate. They weren't used to humans being around and didn't quite understand that humans ate a lot less than what they consumed.
"Alright." Thor said to the table after everyone was done eating. "Who's ready for morning training?"
"Morning training?" You asked Loki looking up at him confused. "But everyone just ate. Won't we all get super severe side aches?" You always got a really bad side ache if you worked out right after you ate something. That's why you trained with Natasha in the mornings before you had anything to eat.
"Asgardians don't suffer from that love." Loki told you pleasantly. "We can eat a whole feast and work out right after with no side effects."
"Lucky." You grumbled.
Loki chuckled at you before turning his attention to his brother. "As much as I want to train with you this morning I will have to decline the offer." Loki told Thor pleasantly, which was a little odd for him. "I wish to show my lady to the market place. I promised her a fun day and though it may be fun for me to make sure she can handle herself against stronger opponents it is not the funnest for her."
Thor grinned at his brother, "of corse brother." He boomed jollily, "your lady deserves to see Asgard and the market place is great for that."

You and Loki walked out of the castle to find your horses waiting for you. You were beyond exited to go see more of Asgard. You bounced up to the horses stoking their muzzles. "We're going to the market place." You told the two horses excitedly. Loki chuckled at you as you happily got your horse ready to ride.
You went in front of your horse, touching the pendent around his neck. With a shimmer of golden magic he was wearing a nice English side saddle and a bridle. Yes, it was still no stirrups November but you couldn't ride into the market place without a saddle. Well you could if you were wearing pants, but you were wearing a full out gown that went all the way down to your ankles. There was no way you could, or wanted, to ride astride your horse. This is when you thanked all the gods that you knew how to ride side-saddle. You took off it's one stirrup and it disappeared with a warm golden glow. You still had to honor no stirrup November.
"Can you help me get on?" You asked Loki who was still watching you but his posture was now regal and cold.
"Of corse I can love." Loki told you warmly despite his cold hard demeanor. He was putting on the show all the servants knew of while still being the Loki you knew and loved.
You stood with your back facing your horse while Loki came over to the front of you. "Thank you." You told Loki giving him a kiss on his cheek that made him smile. Loki loved to feel appreciated and loved, kisses from you were one of his most favorite things.
"Of corse love." Loki told you kindly kissing the top of your head. He then grabbed your waist lifting you up into the saddle. You were grateful he knew how side-saddles worked and that he was as strong as he was.
You couldn't swing up into a side-saddle like a regular saddle. They were extremely easy to get off center. If you mounted a side-saddle like it were a regular saddle it would pull the saddle over. When you ride side-saddle it is all about balance. You want your spine and the horses spine to be lined up perfectly. If you don't it will be extremely easy to fall off. So you had to be perfectly centered on the horses back at all times, even while mounting. That's why whenever you rode side-saddle you would find a stool, fence, or tree stump to climb up on to get into your horses back. There was no stool, fence, or tree stump near by so you asked Loki to help you. You once asked Kate, your horse back riding teacher, what you would do if you fell off your horse in the middle of an empty field with nothing to climb up on to get back on if you were riding side saddle. She responded with, "that's when a big strong man comes to lift you into the saddle."
Loki made sure you were situated on Blaze's back before going over and mounting his own horse.

You and Loki showed up at the market place, it was way busier than you would have expected it to be. That didn't make it any less fun though. It wasn't like a mall with well organized shops in a giant building. No. Instead there were little stands set up down the street selling anything and everything you could think of. There were also buildings lining the street as well that you assumed were also shops. It reminded you of some fairs you had gone to, or the medieval festivals with people with stands jut trying to sell their goods.
"This is so cool." You told Loki as he dismounted his horse coming over to you to help you do the same.
"I'm glad my lady approves." He told you.
"Is it always like this?" You gestured to the crowd of people. "So busy?"
"No love," Loki told you standing by your horse, "it's not always like this. People are getting ready for the Harvest Ball. Even if they are not invited to the castle they still celibate it."
You nodded your head saying "ah" silently. Loki helped you down from your horse before a man came over to the two of you.
"Good day my prince." Said the man keeping his head down out of respect towards Loki. "It is an honor to have you here." Loki, who had you tucked up against his side, raised his head up going into his regal mode. "Would you like me to look after your horses while the two of you look around?" The man asked. You looked behind the man to the stables all the other horses were at. He must have been a stable hand for them. Loki payed the man and he took Blaze and Loki's horse with him to the stables.
The market place was so much fun! You ran around looking at everything and anything. Loki fallowed you looking like the perfect escort for his lady. He kept his regal demeanor and his stoic expression in place the whole time. The merchants were underly confused as to why you and Loki were together. You started up conversations with almost everyone, your ADHD taking complete control over everything you did. You would get side tracked by one thing then another thing then another thing. You briefly wondered if Loki specifically took you to the market place today so you would burn off all your exes energy.
"Your majesty." One of the shop owners called out as you and Loki walked by his little store. You and Loki stoped and turned to see who was calling for you. "I have not seen you here in a while." The man greeted Loki, "I have gotten a new shipment in. If you would like you can take a look to see if there's anything that would interest you."
"Would you mind love?" Loki asked you not wanting to take you away from your fun.
"Not at all." You told him, happily fallowing behind him going into the little shop. You found out quickly why this merchant called out to Loki like he did. When you walked into the little shop you noticed it was over flowing with books. Loki loved books, and taken into account that the shop owner called out for Loki without getting stabbed it was safe to assume this was one of the shops Loki visited frequently.
"These are some of the books I thought you might find interesting." The shop owner told Loki from behind his counter pulling out some books and placing them in front of him. You fallowed Loki up to the front as he looked over the books. You picked up one of the books looking it over. You couldn't read it because it was in Asgardian, but the cover had beautiful elegant designs on it so it caught your attention. "And what dose the young lady like?" The shop owner asked you pleasantly.
"I'm good for right now." You told him happily. "I don't need any books."
"Are you sure?" The shop owner asked you. "We have some pretty good spell books. You can never practice magic enough."
"That would be great but there's only one problem with that." You told him, "I can't do magic."
The shop owner looked surprised at that looking from you to Loki. He thought Loki would court someone more like him, someone who could at least use magic. "Apologies my lady." The shop owner quickly said afraid he might have offended you and, in turn, offended Loki, "I did not know, I..."
"It's ok." You assured him with a giggle, "I'm not offended. It is a common mistake."
Loki picked out a few books paying the shop owner before he magicked them away to the palace. You waved goodbye to the shop owner as you and Loki left to go find some more things to look at.
