⚠️Warnings: kissing

"This Saturday will be the school dance" Ms. Warren said at the end of science class, "The dance will be held in the school auditorium starting at 7:00pm and going until 12:00am. Please at least try to behave yourselves for once" she added as an afterthought. Y/N laughed to herself "well I'll try behave myself but I don't know whether that's possible for the majority of the class" she thought (Y/N was the 16 year old adopted daughter of Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers. She went to school with Peter Parker and was training to be an Avenger). Y/N looked over to where her two best friends Peter Parker and Ned Leeds were sitting, they were talking to each other in hushed voices. You caught Ned's eye and winked he to knew that no one was going to be able to behave. Y/N finished writing a note and teleported it over to Peter who picked it up and started reading it completely unsurprised that a note had  just popped into existence on his desk. Y/N's super power was that she could teleport objects, the bigger the thing was or the farther it was traveling the harder it was. So Y/N often sent little notes to her friends, not that she had many. Her only real friends were Peter, Ned, M.J. and the Avengers of course!

Peter's POV:
Peter looked down as a note appeared on his desk, he picked it up and after looking around to see if anyone was watching started reading it. He already knew who it was from ( Y/N's power was she could teleport things, the bigger the thing or farther it was going the harder it was.) Peter opened the note, it read:

You, Ned and M.J. need to come over to Avengers Tower after school. We can talk about who we're going to ask out!😉
P.S. you have to ask M.J out!

At the P.S. Peter blushed and shot a glare at Y/N who smirked and winked, thinking of her secret crush that nobody knew, Loki.

Time skip to the next day when school gets out

"HEY Y/N" someone called. Y/N turned around sighing at who she saw, Flash the school bully who happened to have a crush on You. "Hi Flash" Y/N said half heartedly, "So I was thinking, you should come to the dance with me. I mean since we are the two best looking people here." Flash said advancing. You sigh "Flash I'm sorry" you say untruthfully "I don't want to go with you, I-" "Do you even have anybody to go with?!" He interrupts, you shake your head and he continues "You don't want to look stupid do you?" He is now right in your face. You stand your ground and stare into his eyes letting him know your not letting him win this argument. "You stupid dum girl" Flash spits at you "I wouldn't say that if I were you" you turn and see Loki standing behind you glaring at Flash. "Hey Loki" you say, Flash immediately hurried off, "is Thor here to?" "Yes he wandered off to go and talk to some mortals" Loki said gesturing to Thor who was taking selfies with some teen girls. You roll your eyes "Loki you do realize that I am also a mortal right?" "Yes but you are a more important mortal than these" he waves his hand to signify the other teens and you blush slightly even though you know all he means is that your an Avenger.
After Thor was done with his fans, he and Loki brought you home to Avengers Tower.

Time skip to Saturday afternoon before the party

You admire your reflection in the mirror, you had picked out a pine green dress with black fishnet leggings that you thought looked nice on you.

Peter  had asked out M.J. the day before, she said yes of course, but you still had no one to go with. Not that you were to sad though, you would rather just go and hang out with all your friends instead of just one guy (or girl).
Once you had finished getting ready you headed downstairs to where the rest of the Avengers were waiting, "Well Y/N you look very lovely" Steve says "Thanks dad" you say curtsying. Two cars were being taken to the school dance, one Tony was driving with Thor, Clint, Bucky and Steve while Nat was driving you, Bruce, and Loki. When you had all arrived everyone was already inside, this was planned so that the Avengers wouldn't be attacked be the hoard of teen fans.

Time skip to some point in the party

After hanging out with Peter and M.J. for a little while they left to go for a walk and you went to find Nat. As you were walking you saw Flash across the room talking to some other boys, then he turned and looked at you. You started to walk a little faster scanning the crowd for Nat or anyone, then suddenly you felt a hand grab your arm and swing you around "HEY!" you say expecting to see Flash but instead it was Loki. "Are you ok" Loki asked looking concerned "oh sorry I... I thought you were flash" "oh... him" Loki's eyes got dark and he looked around the room. Loki turned is attention back to you "was he bothering you, what did he do?" he put his hands on your shoulders "no no, he just looked at me but I didn't want to take any chance that he might try corner me or something" you say flustered by the comforting touch (Loki rarely showed any sort of affection especially physical touch). "But couldn't you use your powers to teleport away?" He asked "well... teleporting larger things is harder than little things like notes or marbles and such, and it's extra hard if you are under pressure" you explain "ah, I see well it seems you need a way to keep Flash from bothering you?" you nod "well what does he want from you?" Loki had his thinking face on (you had seen it often enough, whenever there was a mission that had everybody stumped). "He..." you start "he wants to date me" you say awkwardly "ah I see so if you started dating someone he would stop?" "Well it depends I guess, like if it was someone who he would be to scared to bully then I suppose he would leave me alone. But everybody at school is fare game for him" you say sadly "well that person doesn't have to be from school do they" "no I suppose not" you say, "well I know someone who would love to have such a smart, talented, beautiful young lady as their own" Loki said and you looked up at him questioningly "who?" "Me" then Loki leaned down and kissed you. You heard someone gasp and sadly broke away from the kiss to turn and see Flash standing there with an expression as though Thanos himself had just walked in and claimed he wanted to become a ballerina! "Well I think he'll be leaving you alone for a while" Loki said following your gaze and you chuckled thinking the exact same thing. Loki then kissed your hand and asked "may I have this dance my lady?" "Of course" he leads you out to the dance floor. Loki places one hand on your waist and the other holds your hand out to the side, your other hand is on his shoulder as he dances you around the dance floor in a waltz.
When the song had ended he kissed you again, it was quick but still full of love and passion. You then went to get drinks (non-alcoholic of course) while Loki went to find a quiet corner, if that was possible. You got some punch and was heading back to Loki when you saw Nat who was whispering to your dad Bucky she pointed to Loki and then to you, your dad turned around and saw you he did not look happy you hurried to where Loki was standing and handed him a drink. "We have a bit of a problem" you say glancing back over to where your dad was presumably asking Nat for as many details as possible. "And what is that Y/N?" Loki asked concerned "I think Nat saw us dancing, she told Bucky and he isn't very happy about it" "ah, I see, well we should probably go and hide somewhere shouldn't we" Loki said as he spins you around, and you laugh. Then you get a idea "I'm gonna try something, hold on" Loki looks confused but he holds on to you anyway and with a sound like thunder you both disappear. "Wow Y/N! How did you do that?" Loki asked excitedly " I just knew I could, I... I was really really happy and I thought of where I wanted to go and who I wanted to go there and focused on the happy feelings". Loki was looking over the side of the roof of the school "it is quite beautiful, the view" "yeah it is" you say as you walk up to him. "Well, hopefully we have some time before my dads find us" "mmhmm" Loki hums his eyes never leaving your lips "so... uh... is there anything you want to do" you say not knowing what else to say. Now your eyes were glued to Loki's lips, then he leaned down and kissed you, slow and filled with love. You stayed like that until your dads came bursting on to the roof and pried you guys apart.
