The alarms went off and everyone started to panic. You were working along the Bruce's side when he transformed into the Hulk and jumped out of the window.
'One if the engines broke down!' Tony roared.
It all happened so fast. Natasha grabbed your hand and dragged you along with her to the roof of the Helicarrier.
'Wait here for me,' she told you sternly. You did as you told and hid behind a few crates.
Time passed. Minutes, maybe an hour before someone tapped your shoulder. You quickly turned around and toppled over, but that person caught you.
'Clint!' you exclaimed. 'Where is Nat?' He smiled at you and helped you up.
'She is fine. She told me to get you out of here,' he soothed. 'Follow me. We have to get off this thing.'
'Thank you,' you said to him as he shielded you from the chaos on the deck. He led you into a plane. The doors of the plane closed and already stared to move before you could take a proper seat. You felt a pair of intriguing eyes watching you and you looked to your left. You gasped silently as you saw the prisoner. The demi-God. Loki.
'Clint-'
'Who's that?' Loki barked at him. Clint shrugged.
'Scientist. To help doctor Selvig with the Tesseract,' Clint explained. Your mind clicked. Clint was betraying you!
'Clint!' you squeaked in realization.
'Keep it quiet,' Loki ordered. Your raised an eyebrow at him.
'It? I have a name, you motherf-!' That earned you a smack against the head, from which you passed out. The last thing you heard was Loki laughing amusingly.
You woke up a few hours later in a tiled room where you found yourself laying on a bed. The sheets were silky beneath your body. You tried to get up, but your head throbbed and you groaned as you fell back.
A few moments later, someone came inside and you tilted your head o the side so you could see who it was. Loki. He had a plate in his hands and a glass of water. He came to sit on the side of the bed.
'Sit up, mortal,' he commanded.
'I can't,' you whined. He sighed, rolled his eyes, then placed his hand on top off your face so you were struggling to breath. You instinctively started to wrestle yourself free, but then you felt the headache fade away.
'Try again.' You did as he asked. He smirked. 'Humanity was born to obey.' You frowned at the major asshole in front of you and grabbed the plate from his other hand.
'We bere born to eat.' With that, you ate your carrot angrily. 'Why am I here. I demand that you let me go after I finished eating this.'
'You? Demand?' He laughed eerily. The hairs in the nape of your neck stood straight up. 'Your race is not in the right place to demand things.' You scoffed.
'Then answer my fucking other question,' you huffed as you snatched to glass of water out off his other hand and downed it.
'A lady should not curse,' he said strictly. 'Do all Midgardian women curse like that?'
'Of course they do. Fuck you.' Suddenly his hands clamped around your jaw, which was unfortunate for him because it caused you to spit all the water in his face. He glared at you. 'That's completely your fault.' You did your best to hide a laugh, but you being you, it slipped from your lips. He left the room without saying a word that day. And it would be like that for about three days. No one had walked in your lonely room for three days straight. And you were thirsty and hungry.
So, a little scared that he was going to let you starve, you walked to the door and knocked.
'Loki?' you squealed. No answer came. You knocked again. 'Loki?' You bit your lip in the awaiting for a reply, but none came. 'I-I am growing hungry... but like seriously hungry... And some water would be welcome too.' It was no use. You were talking to a steel door. And it was obvious that no one was behind it. Hell, they probably abandoned the building already.
A sob rolled over your lips as you believed your fate was to die in this forgotten cell because of hunger. You shook your head. No, you couldn't cry. If you were to die, you would die happy.
So, you gathered all of your happy thoughts and thought of a song. You started to sing Shake It Off by Taylor Swift. Then you sang Knee Socks by the Arctic Monkeys and then a few Katy Perry songs. You mood lifted and you were actually starting to enjoy yourself.
Then the door opened.
Loki glared at you from the door.
'Could you shut up!' he snarled. He came into the room and closed the door behind him with force. You flinched and took a few steps back when he approached you. 'I am in the middle of a meeting with evil masterminds and I don't need a mewling quim singing something along the lines off Teenage dream!' You blinked stupidly at him.
'I thought you were gone,' you muttered. You let your eyes drop to the ground, a little embarrassed. That man, and probably a whole room of evil masterminds too, heard you sing at the top of your lungs.
'What made you think that?' Your mouth hung agape by his dumb question.
'I knocked on the door and called for you. I'm hungry.' He rolled his eyes and folded his arms over his chest.
'I don't have time for that,' he snapped. You scowled at him and the growing urge to kick him, was getting harder and harder to resist.
' I am hungry,' you repeated. Eager go get what you wanted, just like a nagging child in a candy store. 'Now.'
'No, after the meeting.' With that he ended the conversation and walked back to the door. He gave you one last glare and pointed an accusing finger at you. 'And be quiet. Or I'll swear I'll kill you.' You huffed as he closed the door.
After awhile, you stomach was growling and you were growing bored anyway, so you crawled over to the door, knowing everyone behind it could probably hear you. You grinned to yourself.
'Hey, Loki,' you said loud and with a smile. You knocked on the door twice. Then cleared your throat and sang: 'Do you wanna build a snowman?' No reply, only the noise if a chair scraping against the floor. But nothing followed. You grew frustrated and you wanted him to know that. He couldn't just lock you in here and not feed you! 'Hey, Elsa!' you yelled. 'Anna is bored! Being Olaf or something! Or food! Yes, food would be great!' Pfft. Nothing! Not even a command that you should stay quiet.
The door opened suddenly, you tried to back away, but it was already too late. The door swung open and it hit you right on your forehead. You fell back against the floor, a little dizzy, then heard some cursing and someone crouched beside you, pressing a cold hand to your forehead.
'I'm so sorry,' he muttered as you opened your eyes. You watched his hands and felt blood tricking down your nose. 'I'm sorry.' He helped you up. You crawled away from him. A lump formed in your throat and you desperately tried to swallow it. You camped onto your forehead and closed your eyes briefly, cursing under your breath as your head throbbed. 'Wait, let me-'
'Don't get near me,' you growled. He got up and took a step toward you, but you glared at him. 'Get away from me!' He stopped in his tracks.
'But you're bleeding,' he stammered.
'I'll be fine. Just go and ignore me like you did the past three days. I'll die eventually so might as well fasten the process,' you replied bitterly. He seemed shocked by your words.
'It is not my intention to let you die,' he argued, but you turned your back toward him and took care of the wound he made, physically and emotionally.
He turned on his heel and left the room. The heavy doors slammed shut behind him and that was when you stared sobbing uncontrollably, mostly out of pain.
By the time the door opened again, you managed to stop the bleeding and you only had a blood stained face. You didn't even looked up as Loki placed a luxurious plate and a glass of water next to you.
'Here you are,' he whispered. You huffed in annoyance and pushed it away from you. He looked at you dumbfounded. I thought you'd be hungry.' You shrugged.
'Leave me alone,' you pleaded. To your surprise, he did. And you went straight to bed, not eating. You wanted to go home, out of this cell.
The next morning, you refused to get out of bed. Even when Loki came and first asked you in a friendly, caring manner. You refused. Then he demanded, commanded and snapped at you. You just gave him your middle finger.
Then he noticed the full plate and he dropped his angry attitude, replacing it with a concerned one.
'You didn't eat nor drink,' he remarked. You shrugged and buried your face into the soft pillows. He came to sit on the bed next you you and stroke a few strands of hair behind your ear. 'Why not, mortal?' You sat upright and looked him in the eye.
'I have a name,' you said dryly, crossing your arms over your chest. He bit his lips, then nodded.
'Then tell me you name,' he asked. You rolled your eyes.
'Like you care,' you spat and fell back into the mattress, once again turning your back toward him. He placed a loving hand on your shoulder.
'I do,' he said. You rolled your eyes.
'Leave.' He didn't. 'I demand that you leave.' With that he stood up.
'Promise me you'll eat?'
'No.'
And you didn't. You only drank a little water because you couldn't bear without that any longer, but you refused to eat. Three times a day, he would being you another plate, but you didn't even glanced at it.
It was about two weeks later when Loki stomped into your room with a few of his goons. Two of them held you tightly as one, a paramedic you assumed, who shove a tub up your nose. You gagged when you felt it tap in your throat. You couldn't protest that much because you had almost no energy left. The next moment you were being fed through that tube. It seemed to take forever and you started crying at the unpleasant feeling. You tried to grab the tube and pull it out of you, but a guard pinned your hands down. You screamed and cried. You felt Loki taking your hand and squeeze it, almost if to say that everything would be alright.
'It's fine, Y/N,' he soothed. Your eyes snapped open. He used your name!
A few minutes latter, it was all over and everyone left. Everyone, except Loki. You cried. You wanted to get out of here. You felt the bed dip and a pair of arms wrapping around you, pulled you tightly against his body.
'Let me go,' you sobbed. 'Please.' He only tucked you into him closer.
'Don't push anyone away who cares for you,' he whispered. 'Don't be like I was. Y/N I care for you wel-being. Please don't push me away. I want the best for you. I'm Sorry I hurt you. I'm sorry I neglected you for so long. Is there anything I could do to make it up to you?'
'I want to go home.'
'I'm afraid that's not possible.'
'Why?'
'Thanos.' He needn't explain more to you. You knew who that purple grape was. 'I'm sorry.'
'I don't want to be here anymore...' you told him as you turned around in his arms and wiped your tears away.
'If you want... you could stay in my room. And I will never leave you alone again. I promise.' You gazed into his eyes for a long time before you carefully smiled. He hesitated but returned the gesture.
And that's how you ended up in Loki's room, reading a book. You two got along pretty wel after a rough start, but now, you were snuggling against his shoulder as you read a book about Asgard.
'Y/N?' his silky voice called your name. You hummed, turning a page. 'I need to tell you something.' You placed the book aside, blushing as you looked him in the eye.
After three months spending at the side of a God didn't do you any good. You werd falling for him. Damn him and his good looks.
'Tell me,' you said with a smile. The corners of his mouth lifted upwards.
'I wanted to tell you this for a good amount of time now, but I never found the right moment. And now I've come to term that there will never be a good moment so I might as well say it, but then there is-'
'Just say it,' you interrupted. He scratched the back of his neck and cleared his throat.
'I lv yu,' he mumbled. You frowned.
'What?' He inhaled sharply.
'I love you.' You blinked. 'I totally get if you don't feel the same way, after all I put you through-' You cut him off with a hug, hiding your face in the crook of his neck. His hands wrap around your waist and he pulled you closer. 'What does that mean?' You giggled and leaned into him, catching his lips with yours into a slow and passionate kiss. He inhaled deeply through his nose, returning the kiss until you both ran out of breath. You pulled away and stared into his eyes.
'I love you too,' you whispered as you gave him a kiss on the tip of his nose.
