Loki - Get along
It has been over a year since Loki and Thor came to live at Stark Tower. You got along very well with Thor, but his brother, Loki, was a whole different story.
He began to bully you during his first week, and you being you, you just bullied him back. And now, you were both sitting at the kitchen table with the other Avengers. Loki had his spoon placed over the edge of his plate and put a pea in it. He slammed his fist down on it and the pea flew in your direction. More specific, in your shirt between your breasts.
Your head shot up to glare at the God while the other laughed at you.
'You can aim,' Hawkeye noticed. Loki pretended to be shy and shrugged.
'Enough,' you spat. You fished the pea out of your shirt and tossed it at Loki before you stormed out of the kitchen. Natasha followed after you.
'Y/N,' she said. 'Don't let him get under your skin.' You stopped walking and faced her.
'It doesn't stop!' you bursted out. She placed a hand on your shoulder and smiled at you. 'It'll get better. Don't worry.' You nodded.
But it did not got any better. Loki continued to bully you and you always ended up yelling at him.
One day you were waiting outside the bathroom for Loki to finish. He came out with a smug grin.
'Oh. I didn't know you were waiting. That's unfortunate. I used all the hot water. Good luck showering with ice cold water.' He chuckled. You growled. He grabbed your arms and bend down next to your ear. 'Maybe next time you can accompany me.' You nudged your arm free and locked yourself away into the bathroom. And indeed, all the hot water was used.
After you showered, you went to the living room , where Loki and the other Avengers were sitting. You eyed them suspicious. They had planned something.
'Y/N, please take a seat next to your best friend,' Tony said. He had a large shirt in his hands and fidgeted with it. You went to sit next to Peter, but Thor shook his head.
'No, Tony meant Loki. You have to sit next to Loki,' Thor said. You sat next to Loki, frowning while you do.
'You guys do not get along at all, so we have found a solution. You'll have to wear this shirt for an entire week.' You and Loki exchanged glanced before glaring at each other.
'Why?' you both asked.
'Because you don't get along! This will be your get along shirt,' Natasha inquired. Loki huffed while you scoffed. Tony tossed it towards Loki, who caught it with much agile. He put it over his head and put his arms through the sleeves.
'Where is mine?' you asked. Tony rolled his eyes.
'You're supposed to be kn the same shirt. That's the point of the get along shirt.' Tony answered.
'And have a sleepover!' Thor said enthusiastically. You whined and Loki shook his head, but you agreed when you saw the annoyed glances the Avengers gave you. Loki sighed before he took your arm.
'Come on, little one. Get in the shirt,' he spoke. You knitted your eyebrows together as you dug under the shirt and stood pressed against Loki's chest. You turned around and also put your arms in the sleeves.
'See! That's cozy!' Thor boomed. Natasha snorted and you and Loki gave her a glare.
'And the sleepover will be an obligation. We'll make sure JARVIS keeps an eye on you,' Tony announced.
'We don't have to sleep in the shirt right?' you asked carefully. Tony shook his head.
'No, just in the same room will do it,' he assured you. You sighed in relief.
'I ship it,' Thor whispered against Bruce, who was reading in a corner.
'Come on. We're out,' Loki announced. You agreed and wanted to walk towards your room, but he clearly wanted to go the other way. 'No, turn around.'
'No, you turn around,' you hissed. He sighed and grabbed your hips before he picked you up and carried you away, The Avengers laughing as you complained.
'I want to read. Are you okay with that?' he asked, but you doubted he would turn around if you disagreed. You hummed in approval. 'Good.'
It was getting late. You were sitting on Loki's lap because of the shirt, a book on your lap and Loki's book on top of your head.
'I'm getting tired,' you said while yawning.
I'm not.' You sighed and leaned against him in an attempt to piss him off so he would agree to go to bed. But he didn't. He wrapped an arm around you and held his book in your lap as he peaked over your shoulder so he could still read. You head was in the crook of his neck as you drifted off to sleep.
'Get up,' Loki said while tapping the side of your face. It took you a few seconds to be fully awake again. You hummed as a sign you were awake so he stopped poking your face. 'Now I'm tired.'
You walked in, still in the large shirt, to your room to grap your pyjamas and then, after some quarreling, went to his room.
Loki grabbed the hem of the shirt and removed it from your bodies. Once freed, you turned around and shielded yourself from his sight and changed into your pyjamas. As you turned back around, Loki was already in his pyjamas and sat upright in his bed, staring at you. You cleared your throat awkwardly and strolled over to the bed, which you crawled in.
'What do you think you're doing?' he asked you. You blushed.
'I need to sleep and Tony said-' you got interrupted by him.
'In the same room. You're not sleeping in my bed,' he huffed. Your face fell and your mouth hung slightly gape.
'Where am supposed to sleep then?' you panicked. He shrugged and pushed you on the ground. Your head hit the ground hard and you gasped while grabbing your head. Tears brimmed in your eyes as you turned away from him and tried to sleep, but the floor was stone cold. 'Can I at least have a blanket?' you whispered. He snorted.
'No. Then I won't have a blanket,' he mumbled before he turned around. You nodded silently and shut your eyes.
The pain in your head faded, but you grew very cold. You were shivering. And because of that and the memories of Loki bullying you caused you to tear up. After awhile you were so cold that it began to hurt and you let out a single sob.
You heard Loki sit up in his bed. It was silent and you put your hand in front of your mouth. You heard him move and then you felt a foot poke you in the side. Tears slid down your cheeks, but you managed to keep quiet.
'Are you seriously crying?' he said in a dull tone. You didn't answer. You just kept your sobs quiet while heavily shivering. Loki laid down again and turned around, away from you.
The hours passed, but you couldn't get to sleep. But Loki, who was laying in a warm bed, couldn't seem to find sleep as well. You concentrated on your breathing, not on the cold floor when you heard Loki move. You squeezed your eyes shut and pretended you were asleep when his feet hit the cold floor.
You felt a pair of warm arms wrap around you, then pick you up and eventually put you kn the bed. He got in himself as well and wrapped his arms around you, pulling into a warm embrace. One of his hands held the back of your head and pressed you against his chest.
'Thank you,' you said with a hoarse voice. He pulled away slightly, enough to see your face. Your eyes met and he looked shocked to see that you were still awake. 'What made you change your mind?' You were glad he allowed you to sleep kn his warm bed. He searched your eyes.
'It was bothering me.' It was silent for a good ten minutes. And you snuggled up against his chest. 'Are you alright?' he whispered. You shrugged.
'I don't know,' you admitted while your voice cracked. He tightened his grip on you. You didn't want to cry, not in his presence, but you couldn't help it.
'I should apologize,' Loki mumbled. A sob left your lips. You wanted to hear that for a ling time. 'I'm sorry. I really am. Is there anything I can do to make it up to you?' You sighed, not knowing what to say or do.
'I don't know,' you whispered while you grabbed his pyjamas to concentrate on keeping your tears from streaming down your face. He then did something you didn't expect. He kissed the top of your head and pulled you even closer. You smiled at the small gesture. 'It's fine,' you mumbled before you both fell asleep.
