"What do you think of that?", Loki said and held a fancy shirt up.
I looked up from browsing through the clothes-stand for the women pullovers. "Looks great, love, try it on."
He smiled and turned around to go to the changing cubicle but almost walked into a young woman. She didnt look like she was buying anything, she just stood in the way admiring Loki like there was nothing else to do in this shopping center. "Oh, excuse me, I didnt see you", Loki said and tried to go around her.
"Nothing to worry about", she smiled. "I have nothing against such a handsome man standing so close to me."
My jaw dropped and Loki raised a brow. "Excuse me madam, I just want to go through this aisle, step aside."
The woman did the exact opposite: She moved closer to him and placed a hand on his chest. "I think I wont. I cant let such a beauty just go out of my orbit without me."
"Hey, are you the type of person that invades other peoples personal space and rudely ignoring their wants? Because you sure look like it." I put a pullover aside and placed myself next to Loki. "Away from my boyfriend."
The woman looked at me like I was a dirty pidgeon on the sidewalk and then at Loki again.
"That means, take your hand off me", he said and flicked her fingers off.
She rolled her eyes and took the hand back. "Anyway, despite your annoying girlfriend, do you want to go to dinner with me? You clearly have nothing better to do."
Loki opened his mouth to answer but I preempted him.
"You know what?", I asked. "I would rather watch an whole hour of ads than going out with you, if I were the one you asked. Take todays evening to work on your character, or it will stay as ugly as this shirt." I took a T-shirt from another clothes-stand with bright yellow, blue and pink stripes and olive green sleeves and threw it in her face.
She grabbed the piece of clothing and clenched her fist. "You -"
"If I were you, I would go now", I hissed and lowered my voice. "Or every piece of your body wont see the light of day before your skin turnes to ash and your little bones bleach in the sun." I smirked.
Her face went pale. She looked one last time from me to Loki and ran out of the store.
I immediatly turned to Loki. "Are you okay, darling?"
He looked at me, and the affection in his eyes couldnt be bigger. "I love you."
