Loki held you in his arms as you both sat together in his apartment watching one of your favorite shows together. After high school graduation, you both decided to go to the same college then transfer to another for your actual majors. You tried to convince him to go where he wanted, but Loki was quiet persistent to stay with you. True to his word it had been almost six years later, and you both stayed true to one another.

You love him, and he loves you. Thankfully the major you chose didn't require math so you didn't have to be tutored anymore. Though it was quiet the marvel that tutoring is ultimately what got you two together. If not you might be off alone. Not that it would be bad, but you loved that Loki was there for you every step of the way not only as your best friend but your man.

Eventually it was getting late so Loki walked you safely to your car. "Well darling, I shall see you tomorrow. Can you believe I'm asking this like I did all these years ago, but are you ready to graduate?"

"Yes snowflake. This time it's only a yes."

"Well how about tomorrow we celebrate all the hard work we've put in to get where we are today?"

"I'd like that. Do I need to wear anything in particular?"

"Just come as you are love. Meet me here in the morning when you've waken up and gotten refreshed."

"Alright. I love you."

"And I love you y/n. Goodnight."

He kissed you as you got into your car, headed to your own apartment. You both decided to have separate apartments while in college so as to keep you void of doing anything. You both wanted to save yourselves for marriage so unless one of you accidently fell asleep at the others apartment; you would go back to your own.

When you got there you took off your shoes walking into your room to put on your pjs. Then you looked at your closet where your college cap and gown hung waiting for you to wear it and your honors, chords, and such in only a week's time. Then you checked your computer and noticed you were accepted at the job you were looking at. You were thankful as well because now you and Loki both had the jobs in what you both majored in, and you could help pay for things as well giving you both a little more money.

You decided to tell Loki about your job acceptance tomorrow since he was probably already asleep. You also fell asleep rather quickly despite how excited you were for the following day.

When you woke up you put on your normal choice of clothes and had a cup of coffee. (or tea) You turned off everything and sent Loki a quick text to say you were on your way. You put on your favorite music and sang until you arrived to his apartment.

You arrived to find a note on the door. You carefully took it off and read it slowly.

He was at (your favorite clothes shop)? Well that's odd. You hopped into your car driving to the store.

"Are you Miss y/n?" The lady at the front asked.

"Yes?"

"This is for you." She smiled.

She handed you another note.

I'm sorry you missed me. I had to go to a new destination. I'm glad you made it. Now that you're here pick out an outfit and some accessories. I already paid. You can wear it or not, but as soon as you pick it out and get it rung up, the nice lady who gave you the first letter will give you your next clue.

You smiled at the note as you looked around. You found a nice outfit and tried it on to make sure. After you got it rung up, you went to the dressing room putting the outfit on. Then you put your clothes in the store bag. You went back to the lady as she handed you another letter. You thanked her as you walked out the store opening it in your car.

You headed to the park giggling at Loki's cute letter. You noticed balloons so you went in that direction. When you got there, all the little kids you help teach art to some days were sitting there.

"Miss y/n!" They all squealed.

One of your friends who worked at the art studio calmed down the children as she walked to you.

"The kids have something for you."

"It was your cute boyfriend's idea Miss y/n." One little girl giggled.

One by one they handed you drawings, and at the top of each drawing was their name and the same question. What do you love about y/n? You began to tear up as you looked at each one of them. Not only was it special because it was from the little kiddos, but Loki took the time to ask if they could do this just for you.

When all the kids handed you their drawings, your friend came to you handing you the next letter.

"I'm jealous. Have a good rest of your scavenger hunt." You hugged everyone then headed to your car opening the letter.

You headed to the movie theatre and walked in. There at the concession stand the staff met you. You were in utter shock when they handed you several posters from your favorite movies as well as the movie popcorn bucket and cups to several movies you loved. Then to top it off they handed you several blue ray/DVD movies you'd been wanting. Some of the staff helped you load the things into your car. Then one gentleman handed you the next letter.

You're getting closer and closer to the end of the hunt. Is that too up front? Take a breather if you must, though perhaps being somewhere more quiet will be just. Maybe even some coffee? Tea? Or maybe I should read into this a bit more. Upon your arrival you'll meet the keeper of all stories. She'll tell a riddle, and you must answer to get your next item as well as your next clue. Normally you and Loki preferred a bookstore like Barnes and Noble, but when it came to school one of the places you both would go to study or have some peace and quiet was the library. You headed over and met the librarian.

"Hello. Miss y/n?"

"Yes."

"Speak friend and enter."

You smiled happy to know Loki knew one of your favorite books was The Fellowship of the Ring.

"Mellon." You confidently answered.

"Indeed. I believe you know what book to look for then. Oh... It's the paperback version. Wouldn't want to grab the wrong one you know. Just come back here when you find it so I can give you your next letter."

It took a while, but you finally found The Fellowship of the Ring. You went back to the lady and she handed you the next letter. Again you went to your car. You opened up the book to find a key in the middle of the carved out book. Then you opened the letter.

So... You found the key. They key to my heart? The key to sometging tangible or something abstract? Now that school is almost done, I thought of something rather fun. We always talked about saving what we love, so there we will meet and choose.

You definitely were getting emotional. You headed to the animal shelter, but you didn't see Loki's car. You walked in, and there he was. You ran up to him hugging him tight.

"Whoa eheh, hello love. Having fun?"

"Yes, but."

"I wanted to do this y/n. I promise you're close to finishing the hunt. Then I'll tell you anything you need ask. Now if I remember correctly we're looking for a puppy."

You smiled taking hold of his hand as you walked to the puppy area. You and Loki were looking and your eyes both landed on the cutest little puppy. The man says it was a German Shepard husky mix. Loki and you both picked up the happy little puppy as it licked your hand.

"Hey little guy. What's your name?" You petted him.

"His name is Dwight. The lady who saved him loves The Office."

"We love The Office." You giggled.

"We'll take him."

"Well the thing is Dwight here has a brother, and he doesn't like being without him."

"Where is he?" Loki asked.

"Right here." Then man lifted the puppy up handing him to Loki.

"What's his name. Michael? Jim?"

"No actually his name is Finnick. She also loved the Hunger Games trilogy."

"Oh I love Finnick.... Finnick...." You sightly got upset.

"Well we will take them both." Loki smiled.

"What about the room?"

"You don't worry about a thing love."

You signed the papers and Dwight and Finnick were officially the both of yours.

"Okay love. Now here's your next. This is where we came to be. You and me. Me and you. I will be right beside you along the way. Just drive and take us in that spot. From there I'll tell you what to do. With love, your Loki."

You let Loki hold the puppies as you drove to his house. When you got out Loki handed you Finnick. You both walked to the garden. You both sat at the table letting Dwight and Finnick explore. Loki got up going into the house, and when he got got back he was bringing plates of your favorite food.

"Loki. I could've helped you."

"I know my sweet, but I just wanted to do this for you."

He held your hand as you both ate, rubbing your palm. As you cleaned the plate you saw words.

You looked around until you made it to the miniature waterfall. There on the little bench beside it sat a plate with a little pastry on it. Frosting covered it with the words eat me on it. You picked up the plate looking at Loki.

"I'm not going to get smaller or larger am I?"

"Eheh. No darling. Now how about you break it open instead."

You did as he said to find another letter.

You went outside to be greeted both his and your families. You hugged them all and then each one of them said a word.

You're very close now. The hunt is almost over. You've done most the searching, but now you're going to a place you don't know. Not yet. Follow he who loves you so. Keep your eyes closed. He will take you to your next destination, and then the hunt will conclude.

You had no idea how they managed to pull that off, but you thanked them getting into Loki's car. You closed your eyes and felt Loki entwine his hand with yours.

Apparently, it was a long drive because next thing you know you were in his arms.

"Keep your eyes closed darling. Almost there. Now for the finale please hand me the key."

He momentarily placed you down so you could get the key out your pocket and in Loki's hand. You heard a door open, and you were back in his arms. You heard the door shut as you moved further in.

Loki then placed you down rubbing your arms. Slowly he lowered you down onto a couch.

"Wait here darling."

You heard the door open again and some rustling for several minutes. Then Loki held your hand helping you get up. He walked a few steps with you then stopped you.

"Okay. Open your eyes darling." You could tell he was behind you. You excitedly opened your eyes to be shocked.

This place was unknown to you, and yet there were the kids drawings hung on a line with a banner that said  Welcome Home.

"Congratulations love. You have completed the hunt."

You turned around looking at Loki.

"I... I don't understand."

"Love this is a house to call our own, though your heart is my home. I love you very dearly. I hope I show it very clearly. Sorry for all the rhymes. I just like doing them from time to time. I love you much, and our time isn't really running up. I bought this house upon your Pinterest selection so that we can be together always. Now that all of this is in motion, will you finish the hunt?"

You nodded your head and gasped as Loki got on one knee.

"Y/n, you have my heart, will you marry me?"

"Yes. I love you Loki. So much"

He slipped the beautiful emerald ring on your finger, and you pulled him up kissing you.

"Now how about you get comfortable. I put your favorite pyjamas in our room. I have your bath necessities in our bathroom. Take a bath/shower and put on your pyjamas. Explore the house if you want. I'm going to go back to mum's to pick up Dwight and Finnick."

"Okay. Thank you Loki"

"No thank you love. See you in a little bit."

You kissed him as he left, and you began to explore Loki's and your new house.
